All the students of Canterlot High Gymnasium were sitting on the stands, waiting as Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna as their club advisor teacher came with a large jar filled with folded notes. The Game Players were bored and annoyed by the waiting “When are we leaving the gym? I’m okay being here until I’m throwing Rainbow Dash or Applejack to the ground on the wrestling mat.”
Dark Speed was sleeping through the noise, Sweet Tunes was tuning out the loud chattering of other students as Game, Fancy, Sharp and Large were playing Kirby Star Allies on the Switch as Death and I.Q. were writing plans and detail on how to create some golems as Principal C was tapping the mike.
“ATTENTION, ATTENTION.” They all stopped and place away their electronics and paid attention except for Dark Speed who was still sleeping as Exo put his hood on. “I am glad that everyone agreed to come to the gymnasium.”
(“It was either this or spend a class with Strict Authority.”) thought everyone who have a class with him.
“You are all here to see who is chosen for the decoration of the Nightmare Night Party.” Everyone groaned and jeered for hearing that.
“Why bother!” screamed Game Life as everyone turn their sights to him “We all know that Strict Authority will immediately censored it or cancel it.” They all agreed as they jeered at Strict as he was annoyed by the students.
“We all understand your complaints but this is the first Nightmare Night that Strict Authority will not intervene.” Everyone screamed in excitement as they laughed at him since he can’t touched their personal business and fun. “And if we are also made a wager; if he dares try to stop it or sabotage it. He will wear an embarrassing costume for the Nightmare Night Party. Please do not hide your most personal ideas.”
“A BIG BABY COSTUME WITH A BINKY, ADULT DIAPER AND A FOOTIE PAJAMAS!” Screamed Exo as the other students laughed and cheer at her idea.
“The idea has been voted and we shall pick a name through the jar to see who will be the head decorator.” Said Vice-Principal Luna as Miss Lax mixed up the folded paper as Miss Cheerilee pulled the name from the jar. “And the lucky student who shall be the Head Decorator for the Nightmare Night Party is…” She paused as she read the name, her eyes widen by the name “Oh my.” Principal Celestia looked at her sister.
“What is it Luna?” She asked as Luna grabbed the mike.
“To all students and faculty who cannot handle horror, please leave the gymnasium.” They all looked confused as they didn’t moved. “You have been warned. Your Head Decorator for the Nightmare Night Party… is our very own, personally unique student. Dark Speed.” The whole gymnasium went silent, no sound nor breath came out of everyone as Dark Speed didn’t moved but his Game Player members clapped and cheered for his success.
“Woo!!! Yeah man!”
“I’m so happy for you!”
“This is gonna be… one hell of a PAR-TAH!!!”
Dark Speed moved a bit and looked at his friends “What the hell are you cheering for Dark Speed?” he asked as Sharp turned around.
“You’ve been chosen as head decorator.” She said.
“Dark Speed-” Before Dark Speed could say something, Death grabbed him by the shoulder.
“Before you refused, Strict Authority cannot touch you nor cancel the party.” Dark Speed stood up, walked down to the where Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna were, grabbed the mik and pull down his hood to reveal he was doing something he never will act in his mortal life; smiling
“Dark Speed… is honored.” He said in a sinister voice as Fluttershy scream in pure terror and flee as other students and faculty followed as they pushed each other out of their way as the entire gym was empty except for Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna, The Game Players and Miss Lax.
“Well that was anticlimactic and predictable.” Said I.Q. as he was looked annoyed. Game looked at Dark Speed.
“Correct me if I’m wrong but is Dark Speed still smiling?” They looked at him which he was still doing.
“Yeah he is! Stop it man! The whole school has already wet their panties and left already.” Yelled Large as he walked towards the exit door.
“I am in a happy mood (Dark laughter)” He said as the door slowly closed ominously as The Game Players looked at each other and the teachers.
“Who bets this school will turn gloom and despair with fear, sorrow and unhappiness?” Said Game. The Players raised their hands as Miss Lax stretched her back and yawn.
“It will be quiet like a library in this school. I’ll enjoy it for the next 8 days.” She said as she walked out of the gym. Everyone but I.Q. were nodding at the thought of silence.
"Let me rephrase what Game said; Who bets this school will turn gloom and despair with fear, sorrow and unhappiness, along with Pinkamena Diane Pie?" Answered I.Q. as they lowered their arms and looked annoyed. Fancy looked were Dark Speed headed.
“I’m immediately scare out of my wits.” She said.
“I’ve seen worst.” Said Game.
“What was worst?” Said Tunes
“That scene where Yzma lifted her dress.” They all freaked out hearing that and shutter the thought of it.
“To be honest; I’ll rather be stab to death than see that.” Said Sharp as she walked down the stands.
“Think the staffs will cancel classes since Dark Speed is in charge of the Nightmare Night Party.”
“All but one.” Said Fancy which made Exo groaned.
The Next Day
Sweet Tunes was walking down the road and she had her music pod connected to a Bluetooth Speaker played the song so all who can hear
The students were marching in sync and their expressions had died and their hopes, dreams and happiness as been murdered by an evil god.
Game was history class as he noticed the class and teacher were dead.
Fancy was art class drawing Okami Amaterasu with a piece of charcoal as the others were painting in gray.
Exo was running on the track but the others didn’t run, even Rainbow Dash.
Sharp was doing some mathematics but is was dim since the teacher didn't even change Pinkie Pie's answers and gave her an A+.
Large was force to play the Funeral's March along with his classmates in Music Class. "Can we play Midna's Lament? It's sadder than this classical song."
Even lunch was dull. “Okay, this school is boring and dead for me to handle." Said Death.
"The entire school is dead from the inside! All because Dark Speed is head decorator." Said I.Q.
"I agree but it's dead here that no one is complaining my music being inappropriate. I love Gorillaz and I'm thinking of playing some songs from YFM."
"Don't bother." They looked at Game "The school life will return to normal when the Nightmare Night Party is over."
"Speaking of the party; having you notice that Dark Speed is somehow enjoying school and life?" Asked Large as they viewed Dark Speed looking happy as he was eating happily.
"I was we're in the Twilight Zone." Said Sharp.
Dark Speed was purchasing some paint cans as he paid a man with black and white skin in a gentleman’s suit and top hat for the paint and helping with it as tip and bonus. Dark Speed lock all out of the Gymnasium, even his companions as they never seen him in 5 days. Borrow Fancy's Shard Ring to create a ice sculpture of a tombstone. Raising a disco ball in shape of a skull with spikes.
The Night of Nightmare Night (Weird, isn’t it)
All students were dressed in costumes; Game Life was dressed as Luigi Mario, Fancy Looks was dressed as Princess Daisy, Large Harvest was dressed as Goro from Dark Cloud, Sweet Tunes was dressed as Xion, Tough Exo was dressed as Lara Croft, High I.Q. was dressed as Sasuke the mechanical ninja, Death Alchemist was dressed as Raiden from Mortal Kombat and Sharp Shooter was dressed as Reborn from Katekyō Hitman Reborn! as every student waited at the doors to the gymnasium. "All these fools are pathetic." Said I.Q.
"Agree." answer Death. "They are frighten by the unknown by Dark Speed. Even we don’t know and they constantly ask us. Even in the bathroom which was an invasion of privacy.” They looked annoyed since it did happen, 5 times a day. Game looked the door
“I wonder what Dark Speed is dressed as?” They wonder as the door opened slowly as the man Dark Speed hired came out
“The party is now open for all.” They all gulped as they all stood in fear except The Gamer Players and Pinkie Pie. They looked to see the entire gym covered in paper, the floor, the walls, even the ceiling, tables of food and drink. One plate stand out from the rest
“*gasp* it’s Dark Speed’s famous Evil’s Gluttony.” Pinkie looked at it and drool.
“The dessert that I beg your friend for?!”
“726,354,918 times you begged for him to bake again.” Said I.Q. Sharp found a note and opened it.
Turn off the lights when everyone as enter the gym
“Creepy.” She said as she looked at the door as the students and faculty came in. Strict Authority was in the outfit Exo wanted him to wear if he tried to sabotage. Miss Lax was the last one who came in. The hired man shut off the lights as the entire gym revealed the surprised that the paper that Dark Speed coved the gym with has been painted with glow-in-the-dark paint and invisible paint that reveal in the ultraviolet lights. Paintings of true gothical art and body lines on the floor. Exo looked at it and started to feel the dark chill in the air.
“I am scared.” She said as the crowd heard some music.
They looked around as they were oblivious to something moving past them as a spotlight revealed a clown in the middle of the gym.
“Saggi the Dark Clown!” Yelled Game Life. As the clown began to sing.

Dark Speed was laughing manically as he vanished into smog. They all looked frighten as they looked around as Dark Speed was on stage. "Hope you enjoy the entertainment. Enjoy the party." Dark walked out as the Game Players followed him out of the gym as Pinkie looked excited
"That was... SUPER SCARY!!! Should we asked for an encore?
"NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"
The Game Players followed Dark Speed as he place his hands in his mouth. "What are you doing?" Asked Fancy as he removed some plastic things as he was rubbing his cheeks as he looked his original express; dull, unhappy and filled with depression.
"Dark Speed is finally free of these accurses supporters for smiling." They looked at what he has in his hand.
"Wait a minute... you mean all this days that you were smiling was those plastic supporters?!" Asked Large ask Dark nodded.
"Dark Speed was in terrible pain for 5 days but was worth for achieving Dark Speed's vision of True Nightmare Night." The Top hat man came in.
"I see that my services are done. I shall be going now." Dark Speed pulled out a wade of cash.
"A bonus tip for your services, Sir Dirty Bit." Dirty Bit accepted it and left the school.
"Interesting help." Said Tough.
"Let's go to the club to enjoy a personal party." Said Dark Speed "Dark Speed despise crowds." They walked to their club as Dirty Bit watched them
"Happy Nightmare Night everyone." He said as he vanished into thin air.
