“Carlos...Neon....and Alpha...The voice you hear right now is me, Sweet Dreams. I’m held prisoner at The soul absorber’s castle. I need your help to destroy the castle and the creator of that pony.” The voice faded away as the 3 ponies woke up on a bunch of blankets as they got up and looked around. A green stallion walks in and looks at the ponies, he was wearing goggles and had a red mane.
“Nice to see you 2 awake” The stallion said as Neon got up and checked on Alpha, she was okay, just a bit dizzy from the ambush.
“Were not dead?” Alpha mumbled in a depressed mood as the stallion chuckled a bit.
“No, let me introduce myself, i’m Tinker” Tinker said and looks at Alpha who kept wrapping herself in the pink blanket. “Can I ask why Alpha looks...Gray?”
“Well something happened in the forest causing her to turn a gray color. Prince Diamond said that it's a disease called Distorted Soul Disease” Carlos explained “nopony survived the hit except for Alpha, so the evil pony ran”.
Tinker listened and nodded “that does sound very mean of that pony” Tinker said as he remembered something. “Oh! The footage i should show you”.
“What footage?” Neon said
“Robu flew to this odd placed castle and recorded footage” Tinker said walking out to get the footage as Carlos followed him. A young blue filly walks in wearing a purple dress, walking up to Neon and Alpha.
“Hi there Alpha, how are you feeling?”
“Who are you?” Neon said getting in front of Alpha as the filly tilted her head.
“I’m Mindset, one of Alp-”
“H-hi Mindset” Alpha mumbled in distress as Neon looks at Alpha
“You know her Alpha?” Neon said as Mindset giggled a bit.
“Yep, she knows me from that day at the apple patch” Mindset said and looks at Alpha in wonder “why are you so sad Alpha, you're not always like this”.
“She's been hurt very bad Mindset” Neon said letting out tears “she has no soul anymore because a bad pony took it!”. Mindset hugs the 2 sad fillies with comfort.
“It’s okay, i'm sure Carlos will find out who the pony is” Mindset said as Alpha begins to tear herself thinking about sad things. Neon looks and hums to Alpha hugging her and Mindset. Mindset didn't mind the hugging, but just smiled in glee.
Meanwhile with Carlos and Tinker, they were viewing the footage as Carlos was filled with confusion of scientist. “That scientist looks so familiar, all red and full of anger. Could it be...Nah, it can’t be brawlos because he is more evil to do that” Carlos said “we should send this to Prince Diamond, he may know something about this castle”.
“I have a computer over there you can use, I’ll go check on Alpha and Neon” Tinker said walking into the room only to find the 3 fillies asleep on the bed, he looks in awe tucking them into bed. “There asleep, happily”.
“That’s good, because Alpha hasn't had sleep in a few days” Carlos said as he establishes a connection to Prince Diamond. “Diamond? Are you there?”.
“Yes, i'm here looking over blood samples of sick ponies with the disease, why?” Diamond said as Carlos sent over the footage to him. “What is this? Some old VHS tape?”.
“I need you to look over this tape, some of the scientist in here, can you find anything about them?” Carlos asked as Diamond listened.
“Hmmm, I can’t view it, but i can send this to the investigation team for them to view it” Diamond said sending the tape off to another location in the castle he is in.
Carlos sat down and thought about what to do and where the castle is as he waited for results to appear.
“Are you worried about Alpha Carlos?” Tinker asked as Carlos nodded in tears.
“I just don’t want to lose my only daughter I saved from her death long ago” Carlos said as Tinker hugs him.
“Don’t worry Carlos, Alpha will get her soul back. Im sure she will” Tinker said as Diamond voiced in agean.
“Carlos I got the results back from the tape. The scientists are workers of the castle up north of vancouver” Diamond said “And the scientist is to believe one of them is Brawlos". Carlos stomped his hoof on the ground in anger.
“I knew it! He’s behind all of this trying to kill my only daughter!” Carlos yelled as Diamond covered his ears.
“Mr.Carlos can you not yell when i'm connected, I hate loud noises of people yelling” Diamond said shivering a bit before disconnecting. Carlos looked down in anger knowing that it was about Brawlos.
“Carlos calm down, there's no need to be mad, we can get after him” Tinker said as Carlos looked at him confused.
“We?” Carlos said
“Yes, me and Mindset will be able to help you and Alpha since she's at life or death risk” Tinker explained as Carlos smiled in relief.
“Thank you Tinker, when should we set out?” Carlos asked as Tinker smiled
“First thing in the morning Carlos, but for now, you should get some sleep” Tinker said as Carlos laid down to sleep.
Alpha begins to dream as a nightmare rolls into her head “No...pleece get out of my head!” Alpha said in her head as It did not go away. “Pleece go away!” Alpha cried in her head as it still tourchered her dreams.
“You will not survive alpha, you will not live to get your soul back!” The evil voice said as Alpha cried more as the nightmare began to pull her away from the light and into the darkness. “You will never learn from your mother’s mistakes have you!”. Alpha tryed to run, but the dark dream kept pulling her away.
“Alpha, are you okay?” A friendly voice said as Alpha still cried. “Alpha? Pleece listen, its your mother Sapphire Pony”.
“Mommy?” Alpha said through her sobs as the pony hugs Alpha in her dream.
“Yes it’s me Alpha, You can’t give up, you must live to save your soul”. The voice explained. “You only have 2 days left before your light flickers out, you have no time to waste. Now go Alpha, spread your wings and go to the Castle of Despair!”. The voice left as the dream went back to normal.
Alpha sat up and looks around to find her bag glowing, she opens the bag to see a blue glowing orb. A voice emits from the orb “as long as you hold this orb, I’ll be with you my daughter”. Alpha smiled and hugged the orb, putting it back into the bag and walked to the window and looks at the moon.
“I must succeed, I must get my soul back” Alpha said to herself as a shadow formed behind Alpha. It grabbed Alpha’s back hoof, but it got shot away by a blue magic bolt. It was Mindset that shot the bolt.
“Alpha? What was that thing behind you?” Mindset asked Alpha walking next to Alpha.
“I-I’m not sure, that never happened before Mindset” Alpha mumbled as Mindset tilted her head.
“You were talking fine a minute ago, did something you have made you remember something?” Mindset asked as Alpha brought out the orb, but it wasn't glowing anymore. “This orb made you happy?”.
“Mommy is inside this orb that I hold” Alpha said as the orb glows as the voice was heard.
“Alpha? It is night time, you should be asleep” The mother said as Mindset giggled as Alpha puts the orb away.
“We should get back to bed, you still need your rest Alpha” Mindset said “because tomorrow is going to be a long day”. Alpha nodded, they both went to bed as the night passed by.
