Neon walked inside the labs and sets her down and calls for Carlos as Neon was tired, he lays down by Alpha worried about her. Carlos ran out to Neon confused about why Neon was yelling, until he saw Alpha laying there not looking at him.
“Alpha!?” He said as he walks to her side looking and nudging her as she didn't look nor move. She was still alive as Neon can hear her heartbeat in a very faint pattern. “Neon!? What happened!?” Carlos asked panicking as Neon looked up worried about the same problem.
“I-I don’t know Mr.Carlos, we were just walking home until a pony ran for me, and Alpha sacrificed herself to save me” Neon explained as Carlos carried Alpha to her bedroom as Temlos helps brings in Alpha’s toys. The whole 3rd department scientists stopped what they were doing and began researching on Alpha’s condition. Days and Nights went by, one by one, Alpha’s condition stayed the same. It was a big issue in the whole lab department that they had to call in the royal scientists at The Kingdom of Feelings for assistance, but they had the same thing as the scientists had, no answers.
Prince Diamond and Princess Melody stopped by, helping out Carlos as they both had experience with science stuff. Neon stayed by Alpha holding her hoof and talking to her trying to make her at least smile. Until that night, Neon played her music box as he had given up, he listened to the music box for a minute until somepony in the room said something.
“N-Neon?” It was Alpha who said that, Neon sprung up and walked to her side suppressed.
“I’m still here Alpha, how do you feel?” Neon asked as she opened her gray eyes, she looked like the color was flushed from her body as the only colored thing was her pink onesie and her Diaper.
“I feel sick, tired, and...sad” Alpha said as Neon took notes, sadly they were scribbles that he and Alpha can read.
Neon walked out of the room and walks to Temlos showing him the notes he took, in the meantime Carlos was talking to Diamond about the situation at hand.
“Yep, I finished my researched with my lovely girlfriend that this thing Alpha has is the Distorted Soul Disease” Diamond said holding research papers. “This disease is caused by the soul being ripped out of the happy pony’s body. However, there is a very rare chance that the pony will survive the blow, which luckily Alpha did.” Diamond moves to the 4th page “There is a downside to when they survive through, their bodies can only survive a limited time before there body quits, give or take 3 days.”
“So what do we do then to save her?” Neon asked as Diamond looks through more of his million papers he had.
“Yes, you will need to destroy the source who took her soul.” Diamond said “I do believe that you can save her Carlos”. Diamond then heads out of the lab, but before he left he stops at the doors and looking at Carlos before leaving.
“Now what should we do?” Neon asked Carlos with worry about Alpha.
“Now...we go hunt for that evil pony” Carlos said feeling brave. Neon gathered all the stuff he can think of to bring with him, food, water, and toys. Alpha didn't want to go, but it gave Carlos no choice since her life was in danger alone. Carlos picks up Alpha, setting her on his back as she hugs Carlos’ neck hanging on to him. Carlos smiled knowing that Alpha is still in there, alive and smiling on the inside. Carlos and Neon headed for the exit as there adventure was just beginning.
Meanwhile back at the dark castle, the scientist looks at the soul absorber 9000 in glee. “Marvelous Soul Absorber! This soul you just got was great! With this, the king will rule over equestria!” The soul absorber didn't look too happy, since she was holding Alpha’s soul inside, it was looking at Alpha’s memories.
“I don’t know if this is a good idea creator, this soul looks like a sad soul.” But the scientist was ignoring her as he didn't care. The soul absorber was busy, changing stuff in her settings to hopefully make her stop being evil, but she keeps getting locked out by the scientist. She thought and thought all night, until she knew a way to stop herself. She walks to the nearest phone and dials a number as she was off to a plan that would help her.
