Satania continued to laugh at the pun that had been made while Applejack's sympathy giggle became more and more forced as time went on. Just as she began wondering how long this would go on for Pinkie Pie seemed to pop up out of nowhere, startling them both, as she said, "SURPRISE! Who's ready to help me bake awesomely fun treats for the announcement party."
Satania and Applejack jumped away startled before Applejack said, "What the? Pinkie? How in tarnation did you get here?"
"Yes Pink Pony, how did you..." said Satania before she then paused and moved up to Pinkie excitedly saying, "Did you master teleportation? Can you teach me? Oh I would just love to lord it over Gabriel's head that I the Great Arch Demon Satania have mastered teleportation before her."
Pinkie Pie just looked over at Satania with a nervous smile as she said, "Um hate to break it to Satay, but I didn't teleport," she then gestured her hoof to a door that somehow opened up out of one the apple trees with a smile on her face as she said, "I just used my secret surprise party tunnels to get here. I always travel trough them, this way if I overhear some pony talking about being sad or something I can just slip back to Sugar Cube Corner, grab my supplies, and slip back there to through them a super fun Cheer Up party before they know it."
Applejack had a look of realization come to her face as she said, "That explains so much."
Meanwhile Satania looked confused as she said, "Wait party tunnels?" before a look of annoyance came to her face as she said, "Wait SATAY? HOW DARE YOU POKE FUN AT A FUTURE DEMON QUEENS NAME!"
Pinkie then raised her hooves defensively as she said, "Oh no no no. I wasn't trying to make fun of your name. I just thought it would be nice to give a nickname since you decided to call me Pink Pony, I mean it is a little weird that you gave me the same nickname as Prince Rutherford even though you haven't met him, but it's still a nice nickname."
"Oh that..." said Satania somewhat embarrassed.
"Actually Pinkie she just called you that because-," started Applejack before Satania put her hand in front of Applejack's mouth to interrupt her.
Satania then had her smug smile return as she said, "Because I knew you would like such a nickname thanks to my great demonic intuition. But you don't need to give me a nickname since Satania already is one."
"It is?" said Pinkie and Applejack in simultaneous confusion.
Satania then gestured to herself as she said, "Why yes of course. All my familiars call me that as they have not earned the right to utter my true name... but since you ponies have proven to be such great and useful servants you have earned the right to hear it," she then took on her normal hand in front eye trying to look cool pose as she said, "Listen well ponies for my name, the name of true evil, the name of the future demon queen and queen of this world is Kurumizawa Satanichia McDowell."
Satania stood there waiting for a reaction and thankfully for Applejack, who couldn't really come up with one, Pinkie Pie burst forward saying, "OK. That is the best name ever! And I thought Fizzle Pop Berry Twist was a cool name but I've never even heard of a name like Kurumizawa Satanichia McDowell. But now the question is do you want to keep calling you Satania, or should I call you Satanichia, or should I come up with a new nickname like Kuruma or McD or-" she was soon interrupted though as Satania placed her hand over her mouth.
Satania then said, "Yeah, just calling me Satania is still fine. Now then Pink Pony why are you here again?"
Pinkie then had a light bulb go off over her head as she said, "Oh right. I almost forgot. I'm here to pick you and the apples up to go to Sugarcube Corner so we can bake treats together using them. That's why I told you about the super secret party tunnels because that's how we are going to get there without anypony seeing you, but be sure not to tell anypony else about them because," she then glanced back and forth before leaning in Satania's ear and whispering, "The're a secret."
Satania just looked at her befuddled at that as she said, "Um yeah, sure."
Pinkie then smiled as she said, "Great! Now just follow me and we'll be there in no time," before skipping back to the tree door and hopping through it.
Satania had a confused smile as she said, "Um well I guess I'll see you later Applejack," before she waved bye to her and then tentatively walked into the tree door before it closed behind her.
Applejack then walked up to the tree and tapped with her hoof only to see that it was again behaving just like a normal wooden tree before she just said, "How in the hay?" as confusion overtook her.
Satania followed behind Pinkie Pie in the darkness of the tunnels before saying, "Um how much further is it Pink Pony."
Instead of answering her Pinkie just stopped walking and grabbed onto a door next to her before she opened and said, "Oh don't worry. We're already here."
Satania was tempted to ask her how it was exactly they were here already if they only took a few steps, but decided not to as even though she hadn't known her for long, she was starting to get the feeling that asking Pinkie questions wasn't the best idea if she wanted to keep her sanity. So instead she simply followed her through the door into the brightly colored kitchen, in which Pinkie Pie said, "OK so what do you want to make, I mean of course we are going to make apple pies and fritters and stuff since we got all these apples but we can start with something else if you want."
Satania then perked up as she said, "Ohhh can we make Melon Bread?"
"I'm sorry but I don't have any melons... we can make banana bread if you want though," said Pinkie Pie.
Satania then said, "Oh no it's not actually made of melons, it just looks like a melon. Hang on," she then paused as she reached into her pocket before she looked around and said, "You wouldn't happen to have a dog would you."
"No just a pet alligator named Gummy but you probably won't see him. He's a little shy around new people," said Pinkie.
"OK then, well feast your eyes and your taste buds on this then," said Satania as she pulled out a prepackaged melon bread from her pocket before opening it as she said, "I always carry one with me just in case I get hungry."
She then ripped a small piece of it off and handed it Pinkie as she began eating the bigger piece. Pinkie took one bite and it looked as though fireworks went off in her eyes before a smile burst onto face as she said, "OH MY CUPCAKES THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER TASTED!"
Satania then looked at her with matched excitement as she said, "I know right? That's why I always carry one with me... which we just ate and I can't exactly go to my local convenience store to get a new one soooo." She then had a look of crushing realization come to her face as she realized what she just did.
Pinkie however looked undeterred as she said, "Oh don't worry, because unless my tasters off," she then gestured at her tongue before saying, "I now know exactly what ingredients and how much we need to make more."
"Really?!" said Satania with new excitement.
"Yuparooni... in fact hung on," said Pinkie Pie before she grabbed a pencil and paper from her hair and scribbled down the ingredients saying, "This is everything we should need, could you walk into the pantry over there and get them while I get all the bowls and ovens ready?"
Satania said, "Of course Pink Pony," before she turned away and her excitement overtook her as she whispered, "I can't believe I am going to learn to make my own melon bread, best day ever."
Pinkie smiled at this as she saw the door to the pantry close. Just then Rainbow Dash burst through the window as she said, "Oh Pinkie, is Satania here?"
Pinkie smiled and said, "Yup, she's just in the other room getting supplies so we can make this AWESOME pastry from Earth called melon bread."
Rainbow then slyly smiled as she said, "Good cause I got an idea that will help teach her about pranks and spice up this little cooking session all at the same time."
