Kalisha yawned as she woke. She stretched the best she could before getting off the bed with her little morning ritual. That is when she noticed the new screen floating in front of her face.
Sleeping through the night restores your health and mp to full.
That would've been nice to know before now. Still she trotted out of the room trying to think of something to do. Honestly a random side quest would be welcome at the moment or a regular quest. Heck just Sandbar talking to her would be nice. She then stopped seeing of all creatures, Zecora.

Well she wanted something to do and the universe answered. Now the question was how to approach Zecora without it being weird. Kalisha hesitated a bit looking at her. Then she cautiously approached Zecora.
"Um Hello?" Zecora turned to Kalisha. Zecora blinked for a moment. “Im new in town and noticed you were also a zebra and I've never really been around other zebras before” Kalisha felt very awkward at the moment.
“I see” Zecora hummed “so it be that you've now met me” Kalisha nodded to her.
“yes and and oh by Luna I am horrible about this” Kalisha blushed. Zecora chuckled a bit.
“It is quite alright” Zecora soothed “though hearing you is a bit of a fright”
“because I don't speak in rhyme?” Kalisha guessed with a blush. That blush deepened when Zecora nodded “I'm...absolutely terrible at rhyming that's why. If I tried rhyming in my speech well...it it’s pretty bad” Kalisha admitted with a wince. Shed tried once after Zecora was introduced in the show and her parents had to ask her to stop after an hour.
“ah well then it seems to me you just need a teacher” Kalisha perked up at that. “it is after all it is quite a feature”
“you'd be willing to teach me the zebra ways?” Zecora noded and Kalisha did her best to not squee. Though with how her hooves were moving it was clear she was happy.
“Hey Zecora” the two other girls turned to see all three of the CMC. It was apple bloom who spoke. “oh Kalisha ya meet Zecora this is great!” Kalisha rose an eyebrow at that. “we were hopin’ to introduce ya to each other but this works too!”
“a good thing as far as I can tell” Zecora smiled “come and let's talk for a spell” the five of them talked for a bit just random things before the CMC gasped.
“you only know the theory behind making potions” Sweetie bell asked. Kalisha nodded to her with a blush that could be sewn through the cream parts of her fur.
“I'd like to learn how to actually make some but-”
“but nothin’ we can help ya right Zecora?” The older Zebra nodded. “Alright let's go”
The CMC are taking lessons from Pinkie pie she swears. That or she just horribly lost track of how fast they were moving. Most likely the second one.
“so what will we be making first?” That is important to know after all.
“we will be starting with a potion that speeds up ones healing slightly” zecora stated “ it helps with sealing small wounds”

Kalisha forced herself to not wince at the bonus. She didn't care about that she wouldn't mess up on purpose. Zecora got out the ingredients for the potion. There was apples, adder’s tongue, allspice, Anemone (or wind flowers as they were more commonly known as), and Lemon balm.
Zecora made the first one as an example. she boiled the water in her pot before cutting the apple into slices, removing the seeds as she did so, three slices went in before the adder’s tongue was turned into a paste. The all spice was ground into a powder and mixed with the paste before being put in followed by the flower of the anemone, only the bloom, not the leaves or anything else. Finally the lemon balm was put in. During all this apple bloom was constantly stirring the mixture. It soon became a soft glowing apple red color and zecora put the liquid into several bottles. What was left of the solid materials, which was surprisingly little, were put into what was essentially a compost bin. Though Kalisha decided to observe the liquid.
Lesser healing potion.
A potion that to regular inhabitants of equestria simply speeds up the healing of wounds by a small amount. To a gamer it heals 10 hp immediately.
Kalisha was then next to try. She mimicked the motions Zecora went through. Though unnoticed by her she didn't get a seed out of one of her three apple slices before she put it in. So when she finally was done by putting the lemon balm in it for lack of a better term sputtered and turned a lackluster green color. Kalisha shocked a bit used her observe skill on it.
Lesser poison potion
This potion poisons enemies slightly unless they are immune to poison. It is created by adding apple seeds to a lesser healing potion. DO NOT DRINK.

“uh what just happened” Apple Bloom asked
“I messed up thats what” Kalisha sighed. Then she shook her head a bit. “um what do we do with it?”
“this potion is not one usually made on purpose” Zecora soothed “though it is not like we can dump it into an ocean”
“huh?” the unison of the three CMC was a cute as was their confusion.
“it's a poison” Kalisha started hanging her head. “so getting rid of it without harming the environment would be hard to do” there was a chorus of ohs after that along with Zecora nodding.
“the most we can do” Zecora stepped up “is put it in a vial or two” Kalisha nodded before she and Zecora put the failed potion into some vials. They needed more than two there were about ten lesser poisons.
After getting all the liquid and the toxic solids out they needed to clean the cauldron before continuing to work on making another lesser healing. Though Kalisha had to watch instead of actively helping due to her wheelchair getting in the way. She was currently glaring at the soft green tool.
When the caldron was cleaned she tried again. This time she double checked everything, triple checking her apple slices, before putting them in the pot. She made a very happy sound as the potion was the same soft glowing red thay Zecora’s had been.

Kalisha almost twitched at the side quest completion popping up. Still she refrained especially since Zecora was handing her all the potions shed brewed today in a bag. Kalisha thanked her and started off to her hotel room, sending the potions to her inventory once she was there.
“alright then let’s do something else now” Kalisha decided to leave the title for before bed. Then she checked her two items she got. Rose petals were a potion ingredient and silk crafting. That made sense as she made her ID and practiced with her chakram a bit.
Tossing it in the room it hit the chair once before coming back and breaking it. She had to throw it at the bed several times along with the desk. The smaller the item the less hits but soon enough she was simply hissing a bit as her slightly cut up hooves touched the ground and gathering the building materials the furniture ‘dropped’ upon being destroyed.

Well obvious was obvious she guessed. Shaking her head she decided to look at her titles. It was dark out now and she was pretty battered from her practice.

Well it was currently her only title so she equipped it. She actually had to suppress a giggle as she felt a tingle from it activating. Though she hissed and lost a point of hp from pressing her hooves too tightly to her lips. She then went to bed doing her usual nightly ritual.

Kalisha stretched her front legs and neck as she woke. Looking at her hooves she nodded seeing she had none of the cuts from her chakram training. Though there were a few nicks in her hooves. It was nothing honestly.
She got out of bed wheelchair at the ready and went out side. Today she just wanted to relax no side quest prompting her to do anything. She just wanted to do some shopping maybe find some crafting materials or even a skill book that would allow her to use said items.

Kalisha’s eye twitched violently at that. She then ran into an alleyway made an Blank ID and cursed out Murphy’s Law before leaving it. Well looks like she had an side quest to go on. She would never provoke Murphy ever again.
She didn't find Sandbar as much as he found her. She had honestly got distracted by the antique store. Hey Sunburst bought a bunch of books from it why couldn't she?
“I didn't know you liked antiques” Sandbar looked rather confused. “Not many ponies do”
“oh it’s not the majority of them just the books” Kalisha giggled “and the blind barrels those are always fun”
“If you say so” sandbar responded with a shrug.
“hey wanna hang out after I'm done shopping here? I'm not gonna take too long since well” she pointed to her wheelchair. Sandbar grinned and nodded. “cool be right back” she went to a shelf with a lot of books on it and used her observe skill.

Really really not cool not cool at all! Shaking her head she grabbed it. Might as well grab it now and have it for later than go to get it later and it not be there. The other books with it were books about something in old ponish. Her observe skill just bluntly told her they weren't skill books.
Through the entire search she found only 2 more skill books, blacksmithing and woodworking. Sadly much like the magic book she couldn't use them yet though because she wasn't lvl 10 opposed to the much more demanding magic book. She paid for them and went next to sandbar.
“lets go have some fun what do you wanna do?” Kalisha asked as the two trotted out. Sandbar just grinned at her.

Later after being dorks and some more shopping
…
“how did I end up carrying your things again?” Sandbar asked with much confusion. Kalisha was honestly just as confused and shrugged as they went to the hotel she was staying at.
“Either way thanks I can take it all from here” Kalisha smiled
“you sure” sandbar got a nod in return before he handed over Kalisha’s things to her. Kalisha then trotted off to her room waving goodbye to Sandbar.

Good with that out of the way Kalisha decided to put her things in her inventory. She then went into the bed putting away her wheelchair as usual. She also was mentally threatening whatever divine force was up there to not give her a side quest again for the next few days. She had plans dang it!
