The sun burned brightly down no ponyville. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and fluttershy has just finished feeding the animals. The cottage was starting to get hotter then a jalapeno in a ghost pepper convention. Angel was starting to hyper ventilate from the heat. A fish bowl was some how chilling cold. A tumble weed scuffled across the floor.
"Angel." called Fluttershy. "It's time for a bath." She said with a smile.
The poor rabbit now doesn't care how hot it is, he's getting a bath which is infinitely worse. He runs under the nearest object. He prayed that Fluttershy wouldn't find him! But she did.
"Angel you silly bunny. I said it's bath time not hide and seek time." Fluttershy giggled. To Angel however those giggles sounded like maniacal laughter. Before he could runaway she picked him up by the scruff of his neck. He's struggling was useless against her gentle yet firm grasp. When Angle saw the bath tub out side the water was literally boiling!
Fluttershy unaware that the water didn't cool down after putting it in the tub (if any thing the water got hotter!!!). she was about to drop Angel in, when a very loud explosion of fire busted from in front of the bridge. A figure in a gray robe emerged from the fire. When it completely left the fire, the fire died. The robe had a purple floral pattern on the rim of the hood and bottom of the rim of the robe.
The figure was equine in form. It starts moving towards Flutter shy and Angel! It moved as if it were trotting. The closer it got the more detail could be seen of it. It had light blue glowing eyes and blazing red markings on its face! It stops exactly 3 feet away from the fearful pair and asked: "Hola Senorita, I am looking a an Angel conejito. It is his time to ve a dormir."
"wh-who are you?" asked Fluttershy.
he paused and answered "lo siento, my name is Calienta Huesos. senorita."
Fluttershy repeated "C-Calienta!!! Th-The horse of the DEAD!!!". Fluttershy fainted at the knowledge that she is being visited by the horse of the dead!
"Senorita!!! Oh mis estrellas!!! Estas bien querida?!?" asked Calienta. Fluttershy slowly woke up staring at a painted skull with warm yellow eyes. E-eyes?
"Eeeek! H-help, help the horse of the dead is trying to steal my soul!!!" Fluttershy said in a frantic panic! Angel hopped over to Calienta and basically saying he is ready to go.
"Do you want to at lest say adios, Conejo?" Asked Calienta. Fluttershy came to her senses when he asked that to Angel.
"Wait you're here to steal Angel's soul!!!" shouted Fluttershy in anger! she began to fly rapidly at Calienta, who just stepped out of her way. she flow into a tree making a loud thud. she fell down and hit the ground with grate force. the air was nocked out of her.
"for knowing the name caballo de los Muertos, you don't know what it medio. Estoy here to bring this Conejo to the reino de los Muertos." stated Calienta.
"Angel was going to morir regardless of what you did. today is his dia muerto. also I want him as mi mascota." said Calienta.
"N-no y-you can't take him away from me! C-can't you take somepony else instead?" Asked Fluttershy after her breath returned.
"Si. If you can beat mi in a comiendo raza!" said Calienta laughing in glee!
"I accept your challenge Calienta!" shouted Fluttershy quivering.
'my belly is going to be in so much pain after this.' thought fluttershy.
five hours later.
"I 'burp' win Calienta!!" proclaimed Fluttershy while trying to keep the food she wolfed down in her belly.
"Si. I will go after mi next target en lugar of Angel. pero ten cuidao, I will return when his age is his vencimiento. Adios senora Fluttershy. Adelante a la abuela de herreros!" said Calienta dashing forward into a pillar of green fire. Fluttershy hugged Angel happily and continued his bath. the water was more of a relaxing warm then it would have been if Fluttershy had given him his bath earlier. Angel is actually glad that Calienta came. he would of been bunny stew if it weren't for that skeletal horse.
" ya know Angel, something burrugs, excuse me something bugs me about Calienta. he seemed to have lost on peruse, as if he wanted to take somepony else's soul but had to make a bet in order to do it." Stated fluttershy. her belly started to complain about being so stuffed. the question rang threw Angels head.
'maybe he cares about someone else's filings if they're vocal about it?' thought Angel as he was being dried by Fluttershy. her belly had been making odd noises. then again if you just eat twice you're weight in food your belly might make odd noises to.
"well at lest I wont have to worry about launch, 'buuurp' oh 'urp' excuse me." groaned Fluttershy as she rubbed her over stuffed belly.
The next day...
"I can't believe it, I just can't." cried Apple jack.
"How sniffle, how could this h-h-h-happen!" shouted Apple jack as she began to weep thick tears. she was laying there on the ground crying her eyes out!!! Fluttershy was passing by unaware of her friends tears as she flew to the market.
"N-No. I'm ganna get that Calien-someting. He must pay for what he did to granny!" Said Apple jack angerly. She stormed towards the everfree forest. Tales of the horse of the dead state that he lives in the forest out side of ponyville! 'He must be there, he has to be there.' thought Apple jack as she ran to the everfree forest. she run into pinky!
"hey Apple jack how are ya?" asked the overly cheery pink mare.
"Terrible, I just lost granny to the horse of the dead!" Shouted Apple jack rudely.
"Oh, well hope you're trying to hunt him down. he'll take your soul too." Said Pinky with a smile. as Pinky trots away,
Apple jack sits there and thinks about what Pinky just told her. Finally she decides to go home and tell the rest of her family about granny smith.
