That afternoon, Neighsay warped to the outskirts of the school. He readied his arsenal: flammable liquids, a flamethrower that he had put together, flame resistant clothing, and a battering ram to break down the doors. He set an alarm to remind himself when it was time to swoop in and take his hostages.
Later that night, after school was done:
Twilight and her friends put away their supplies, and went to bed. Neighsay's alarm went off when it was time to make his move. He warped to the outside of Twilight's castle, and silently destroyed the shield. Then, he wrote a fake note, and posted it on the main door. He had already corrupted the guards by this point. He cast a spell to trick Twilight and the others into thinking that nothing was happening. He took them silently to the jail and told the guards about what was going on. He had also set up an illusion to fool the christians into thinking that nothing was happening either. He was being successful in his plan, so far.
The guards took over from there and put them in cells. Neighsay's spell was set to stop at dawn the next morning, but he didn't realize that water would sometimes drip from the ceiling of the cells, waking up prisoners if it hit them. He thought they would wake up quietly on their own. He only knew they would wake up at some point. He also did not realize that the christians would discover his trick, and try to go after him. He thought that they would be fooled, and not interfere, but he could not be more wrong.
"Condition Red, Neighsay has breached our shield, and taken Twilight and the others.", said Link.
Brandon quickly sent a "Priority One" message to Celestia.
It said: "Celestia, this is an emergency message. Neighsay has breached the shield, and taken the staff to prison. He plans to set fire to the school. -- Captain Brandon."
