Rainbow read the letter again.Eyes widen.Sweat rolling to her face.She’s in the weather factory headquarters finishing her duty after she left Twilight at the bookstore.
“Rainbow is something wrong?” Cloud kicker asked.
“I-I have to go, think you could handle the rest here.I really need to go somewhere it’s urgent.” as soon as Cloud kicker nodded, she flew outside and send her family a message before she go to the hideout.
She saw many ponies surrounded her.They are all Lightning Dust’s minions.Without hesitating, she attack them one by one, later on they are all knock out.
She saw Lightning Dust looked at her impressed.She get her gun from her bag.

“Where’s Twilight?” Rainbow said,holding a gun pointing at Lightning Dust.As soon as she received a letter from Lightning Dust saying that meet her in their hideout, since her princess is in trouble, she called her family from Cloudsdale to help her and said the address.
She’s with Lightning Dust at the front of their hideout.Ponies knock out from the attacks.
“You want to see her? Well if you insist” Lightning Dust said, she couldn’t see Rainbow since it’s night so she didn’t know that Rainbow has a gun with her.She spread her wing and flew inside the hideout.Rainbow followed her as she put her gun on her saddle bag.
Once they are inside, she saw Twilight’s father near the open door all tied up.They put a magic blocker ring on their horns so that they can’t do a defense attack.Her eyes wondering around the room looking for Twilight.
Her throat dried up when she didn’t saw Twilight.She looked around in the darkness.She heard a scream at the other side of the room.
“Please don’t hurt my daughter!” Twilight Velvet begged.
“Get up, Twilight Sparkle!!” Lightning Dust’s brother screamed at her, stabbing her at her chest.
Twilight can’t hold either her heart or head, both of it hurts.Velvet’s tearing up.
“Please don’t hurt her,don’t Please.Not her chest.Don’t hurt my daughter.Please!.Have mercy on us.I beg you! I beg for your mercy, I beg you please.” she cried.
“I said get up, Twilight Sparkle!” He ignored Twilight’s mother.
She saw Twilight’s face lift up, when she heard a wings flapping a while ago.
“Rainbow are you there? W-what’s going on?” Twilight screamed.She can’t see Rainbow since it’s a bit dark on her place and she was held by one of Lightning Dust’s companion.
Rainbow, facing Lightning Dust.Anger flooded through her hearing Twilight screaming.She regret leaving Twilight alone in the store.She forgot about her promise to Twilight.
‘The promise that I’m going to keep for my egghead, is to protect her and will never hurt her, no matter what the cause of it’’
Now, Twilight is here in grave danger.And she knew that her family will come here soon to help her and save Twilight and her family.Rainbow heard how helpless Twilight is, crying and begging for help.
“You know that we only have a grudges towards the princess over there...” Lightning Dust point at Twilight.”...But it seems like you’re ruining our plan...” Lightning Dust walked towards Twilight holding a knife.She put the tip of the knife at Twilight’s shaking face.While her brother is holding Twilight’s body.Rainbow doesn’t know what Lightning Dust is doing but when she heard a little sound of a knife.
“Don’t you dare hurt her! Why are you hurting them? You didn’t even tell us what is her fault to be hurt like this! She has nothing to do with this!” Rainbow said.But Lightning Dust didn’t listen to her.She slice Twilight’s cheek slowly, smirking as Twilight scream in agony.She can’t see them, because of the darkness.Rainbow’s heart sank.
Rainbow was about to attack Lightning Dust when, Lightning Dust’s minions block her way.She attacked them one by one.
Kick here, punch there, spinning kick, throwing objects everywhere.
‘Crap, where the hay are they?’ Rainbow thought.
As soon as they are all knock out.She untied the rope of Twilight’s family she can’t still see Twilight, she help them to stand up and look at Lightning Dust.But her hopes died down when she saw Lightning Dust’s family surrounding her every side of the room.
“You really are something, Rainbow Dash.You keep appearing everytime we attack her family.Who are you anyways?” Lightning Dust asked.
Rainbow smirked, “You’ll die if I tell you” she said.She start to attack them physically.
“We suppose to Kill Princess Twilight’s father because he killed my mother.Then you showed up” Lightning Dust screamed in anger.Twilight looked at Lightning Dust and then to her father on the other corner.
“W-what did she mean by t-that f-father? You k-killed her m-mother?” Twilight asked.
Night Light sighed in defeat.”I...I’m sorry.There was an explosion in the supermarket at the Manehattan.And one of them got shot by a gun....and w-when your sister-in-law was about to give her daughter’s birth, they came right to me to cure her daughter...but...” he didn’t continue.As Twilight screamed at him.
“You mean that time when Lightning Dust’s brother called you for help because his mother was shot near her heart!! And when I was about to volunteer myself you said that I don’t have the authority?!” he nodded.
“T-this is...this is bullshit.Do you even know how we went through because of your lies? That even my friends and I are always in trouble that only Rainbow could save us?” she facehoof.She glared at her father, even though she knew that she can’t see him.
“Now you know why we want him to be killed? It’s because of that sister-in-law of yours and her daughter” Lightning Dust smiled.
“Is that why you kidnapped our daughter?!” Cadance screamed, holding her daughter.
“YES,IT IS!! IF IT ISN’T BECAUSE OF YOU MY MOTHER IS STILL ALIVE” Lightning Dust screamed.She looked at her brother and nod at him.
He slap Twilight’s face hard enough for her to fall on the ground.
“Get up, Twilight! I thought you’re the princess.You supposed to be brave and strong not this weak and a laughing stock.” He laughed.When Twilight stand up.He stabbed her hoof on Twilight’s chest, she gasped.
“Stop it! Please don’t hurt my family! These all started because of me,right? Please don’t punish my daughter, only me...kill me if you want but don’t include my family here.And the other family who’s close to our hearts.I’m begging you.I will do everything.I will take all the burdens for their safety.” Night Light said rapidly and guiltily.He force himself to look at Lightning Dust’s brother straight.
He walked towards him and point the edge of the gun beside his neck.”You’re an animal, you know that!” he screamed.Night Light back away slightly, which made him move closer to him.”You’re the one who destroyed my family and your family.I wish that you die since the beginning.You’re the worst person who live in this world.You have to finish your life!” He said angrily.
“Please stop it.Please forgive me for my mistakes.” Night Light said.
He laughed,”You think that way we’ll forgive you, while my mother is now in the grave yard? That’s not fair, we need to kill you before we forgive you.”
“Where is Twilight?!” Rainbow asked.”Show her! I can’t see her through the darkness!”
Night light stood still.He saw Lightning Dust’s brother walked beside Twilight.His father opened the lights.
Lightning Dust’s family looked at Rainbow smirking, thinking that they need to stop attacking for a second watching Rainbow walk towards Twilight slowly.They saw how Rainbow got limb.
‘I want to stomped my hoof before attacking them.But I can’t...my jaw dropped once I saw my Twilight, blood all over her body, bruises on her face.’ Rainbow thought.
Before Rainbow reach Twilight, bullets raining towards her.She saw a table and run underneath the table to cover herself.When she thought that she can attack now, she launched towards the pony and start punching him in the face.
“R-Rainbow...” Rainbow heard Twilight’s voice.She felt a hoof touching her heart once she heard her voice.Twilight got her attention for a bit.Before she could look at Twilight, she saw another pony is going to attack her.When she is done, Lightning Dust’s brother called her.
“RAINBOW!!” He called.
Rainbow’s eyes widen when she saw him.He is holding a gun pointing at Twilight’s heart.
“Why?” Her body felt limb.”W-Why are you doing this?” Rainbow said almost crying.Her hopes are going to disappear if he continue that.
“Because I’m sick of this! I want to take my revenge for my mother” He replied.
“Like this?” Rainbow asked emotionally.
“Yes and now this is our vengeance to you.We will include yours, and Twilight’s, Since you keep delaying our plans.” Lightning laughed and start attacking her again.
They all dodged her attacks,Rainbow looked at them in surprise.
‘They know how I will attack them, but why?’ that thought came a crossed her mind.
Rainbow is still attacking their enemy.Until she heard Twilight’s mother screamed.
“Twilight!”

Rainbow’s heart stopped.She slowly turn her gaze to Twilight.She saw Lightning Dust’s brother shot her on her back.
‘T-Twilight...’
She saw her lover sitting on the ground, still moving.But she can’t stand up because of the impact.
“Lucky for you, your sweetie pie over here is still moving and breathing.What if I end her life huh?” He smirked.He walked beside Lightning Dust preparing for their attack.
A tear fell on her face.
“Ohh look she’s crying, isn’t that great dear? She’s getting weaker!” Lightning Dust’s father laughed.
Rainbow can’t think of anything her Twilight is suffering.She can’t do anything because of Twilight’s father,the only thing she could think of...is her egghead.She can’t hold her anger anymore until she did what she didn’t have to do.She held out her gun and point at Lightning Dust.They all stop from moving, backing away slowly.
“Ohhh, So you prepared for this huh?” Lightning Dust hid her fear once she saw Rainbow point the gun at her and How Rainbow looked at them.She gulped.
A prey’s look towards it’s predator
“Well actually I pointed this gun in your face a while ago but I think you can’t see me back then.And it’s a bit unfair if you’re the only ones who have weapons” Rainbow glared at them.
Rainbow looked away for second to see Twilight looking at her worriedly.It looks like it really didn’t cause her anything after that shot but her body is weakening.Motioning her to stop, but she didn’t listen.
She didn’t notice her family entered the room behind her.They saw how the things went when they are still flying towards the hideout.They looked at Rainbow horrifyingly.Her mother saw her daughter holding a gun pointing towards their enemy.
“Dash!! Don’t do it! You know the consequence if you do this.” Rainbow’s father, Bow Hothoof said.
When she turn back to face Lightning Dust, she saw her running flew towards her trying to stab her with her knife.
“BUCK YOU!!” she screamed.

Everything froze.

Rainbow put her gun back to her saddlebag.
Lightning Dust lying on the ground with blood.
Her father walked towards his daughter’s dead body crying.
“Her mother died and now, my daughter? How could you do this?” Lightning’s father screamed at her in anger.
“What do you think I will do if I ignore all the things you’ve done to Twilight?!” Rainbow screamed back at him.
Bow Hothoof, he knew that he will betray his family but it’s the rule, hold his bow and lift it up straight towards his daughter.Before,Rainbow could walked towards Lightning Dust’s father.Bow aimed her back with an arrow.
‘I thought after killing her will be the end...until I heard the sound of a bow before it hits me.I heard that sound while it still in the air, and I know I don’t have rights to question it.Because I know who and where it came from.’ Rainbow thought.
“RAINBOW!!” Twilight screamed.She winced in pain.Her body is still weak for her to move.She ignore the pain and grit her teeth walking beside Rainbow.
“Bow, why did you do that? She’s your daughter!” Windy said.
“You know the rules, Windy, our rules.Celestia knows I did not want to do this,but I have to.And it kills me too” Bow said.He dropped his bow realizing what he done to his daughter.
“Screw that rule! She’s your daughter for crying out loud! Why it needs to be you” Windy cried.
“I’m so sorry, Windy” Windy tried to punch him all over his body.But it seems he ignore it since he know how hirt is Windy right now.
Twilight avoid her gaze to Rainbow’s parents.She cupped Rainbow’s face softly, tears streaming down to her face.
“T-Twilight, I s-save y-you.I’m sorry that you got s-shot by the gun” Rainbow said weakily.
“D-don’t worry Rainbow, we’re going t-to save y-you” Twilight sniffed.Before she know what Rainbow will going to say, she fell unconscious.
Rainbow woke up.She felt strange on her back.
She looked around to see that she’s in the hospital.Her parents are sitting beside her.
“Bow, your daughter is awake.” Windy nudged her husband.
“I’m so sorry Rainbow!” Bow said.
“Where’s Twilight?” Rainbow asked, ignoring her father’s apology.
“She’s still in the emergency room.She’s not waking up since yesterday.” Windy replied.
“I have to go to her.I need to make sure she’s okay.”
“I don’t think it’s good for you to go there.” Bow put his hoof on Rainbow’s chest, stopping her.Rainbow slapped his hoof away and stand up.She held her IV pole with her right hoof and walked outside the room followed by her parents.
Rainbow saw nurse red heart.
“Nurse, do you know where Twilight Sparkle’s room is?” she asked.
“Oh Rainbow, why are you outside of your room.You need to rest.” Nurse Red Heart said worriedly.
“I need to see Twilight, please” she begged.Nurse Red Heart looked at Rainbow’s parents, they nod at her.
“Okay, she’s in the ER room forty-seven.” Rainbow nodded at her and continue to walk in the hallway.

She entered inside the room.She saw her friends beside Twilight and her parents.Monitors and bandage all over her body.
Rainbow can’t help herself as she walk towards Twilight.Sniffing and tearing up.She can’t say any words.Twilight suffer the most instead of her.Instead of Twilight’s father.She gritted her teeth.
‘I’m sorry, Twilight’
The doctor came inside.They all put their attention to the doctor.
“How is she doc?” Applejack asked.
“She’s really unstable right now...and she will wake up a couple of hours later.After her operation.We manage to pull the bullet out of her body.” He explained.They all sighed in relief.
“Does she need to take meds?” Rainbow spoke.
“For now, I think she don’t need meds but if we keep monitoring her, I think she need it soon...please excuse me I have another patient to visit” they all nodded at him as he left the room.
Rainbow lowered her head near at Twilight’s ear, she whispered.”I’m sorry, Twilight.I...I’m worst marefriend you have.Please get well soon...I’ll always love you” she kissed Twilight head.
She look at her friends.”Please take care of her okay?” They all looked to each other in confusion but nodded instead.Rainbow knew that Twilight’s parents know about the rules that they need to obey.
“Take care,Rainbow!” They all said to her.
Rainbow walked outside her room to see her parents.
“Let’s go back to Cloudsdale I need to end this situation.By the way, where are they? The one’s who almost killed Twilight?” she asked blankly.
“They are all in the Cloudsdale court waiting for us.” They paid their bills and walked outside the hospital.
Twilight’s eyes opened slightly.She heard a beeping sound which is the monitor.They saw all her friends and family except Rainbow Dash beside her.She look around for any signs of Rainbow.But sighed in defeat.
“She was here a couple hours ago dear” Rarity broke the silence.
“Where is she?” Twilight asked ignoring her.
“I think we should head home for now and come and check you tomorrow morning” Fluttershy said.
“Please take care, Twilight so that we could have the ‘Twilight-and-Rainbow-Dash-recovery-party’ “ Pinkie cheered.
“Hope ya’ll get out of here soon, Sugarcube” Applejack pat Twilight’s shoulder.
“Get well soon, Darling” Rarity waves.
They said their goodbyes on her and left Twilight and her parents alone.
“Mom did you see Rainbow Dash? Is she okay? Did the police arrests Lightning Dust’s family?” Twilight asked nervously.Her mother didn’t answer her.
“Where’s Rainbow?” Twilight asked emotionally.
“You’ve been out in three days, sweetie.We’ve been waiting for you to wake up.” Velvet forced her smile.”How are you feeling right now?”
Twilight shook her head as she wiped her tears that are forming in her eyes.”Where’s Rainbow? I want to see her.I’m hoping that I’m going to see her.”
“She left...” her father said.Twilight looked at them in confusion.
“Since when?”
“After she came here to see you.She said she’s only taking a break for a week.” her mother reasoned.
“She didn’t even say goodbye to me” Twilight sadly replied.
“Don’t pressure yourself dear.Take a rest and wait okay? You have to get better soon for her okay?” His father pat her in the head and left her in her room.

Twilight is walking outside her castle and saw Rainbow’s mother at the near stall buying apples.She flap her wings and flew in front of her.
“Uhhmm...Ms. Windy, can I talk to you for a minute?” she asked.Windy looked at her in surprise.
“Ohh hello dear, I was about to go in your house because I have something to talk to you about.”
“Huh?”
“It’s about my daughter Rainbow.”
Twilight waited for Windy to finish buying her stuff and they went inside the castle for private talk.
“What’s about Rainbow? When I’m still in the hospital mom said that she’s going to take a break for a week.But it’s been a week since she didn’t showed up.” Twilight said worriedly.
“Remember why my husband shoot her with his bow?” Twilight nodded.
“It’s because, they have their organization.Which Rainbow pledged herself that she will protect her family and will never kill somepony for the rest of her life.And because Rainbow break the rule, she needs to face the consequences.” Twilight’s looked at her in shock.
“...what is it?...” she asked.Her body is shaking, heart’s beating rapidly, shivers throughout her body.
“S-she died a couple of days ago.She called me and said that it’s her time to go.With the ponies who tried to kill you.” Windy replied sadly.
“Get out...” Twilight said.
“I’m sorry Twi-“
“I said get out!” she channeled her horn and teleport Windy Whistle outside her castle.
’No...No...No...this can’t be happening...Rainbow will never die,right? She just took a break and that’s all’ she teleport herself inside her room.Crying, Screaming, looking outside her window hoping that it was just a dream.

Four Years later...
Rainbow looked at her cousin.”You think Twilight still feel the same?”
Blaze shrugged.”I don’t know...I think she still but not the same as before since you’re out of her reach after four years” he replied.They are now inside Twilight’s building Corp. her cousin requested her to come with him for his project.Rainbow thought it’s the best time for her to take a move again.
“I miss you,Twilight
He knocked on the door.
They saw the door opened and saw Twilight.
“Oh hi Blaze, did you finish your project already?” Twilight asked.
“Yup and I hope you could go to Cloudsdale to see how my project is going.” He replied.
Twilight turn her gaze to Rainbow.Her eyes widen in shock.
“Hi” Rainbow greeted her.
“Hello” she said blankly.
“So Blaze, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.I think I could go over your place tomorrow.I just need to finish my blueprint” she said and she close the door.
Blaze looked at Rainbow sadly.Rainbow lowered her head in shame.
“Don’t worry Rainbow she needs time and I’m sure you’re going to be the same again” he pat her shoulder.
“I hope so.”
They went outside the building and saw her friends outside.
“GUYS, IT’S RAINBOW DASH!” Pinkie cheered.Only Pinkie Pie who recovered first, while the others fidgeted slightly uncomfortable.
“Hi” Rainbow greeted them.
“It’s really you, RD” Applejack said unbelievably.
“Yeah!”
“So it’s true that Derpy saw you at the Antlerdam.” Rarity said.
“Mmm” she replied thoroughly.
“Why are you in Twilight’s building?” Fluttershy asked.
Before Rainbow could speak she was interrupt by her cousin.”I was giving my project to Twilight and Rainbow here tried to talk to her but she kinda...you know not okay.” He explained.
“Well since Twilight took the hardest in all of us here.” Rarity replied.
“Why don’t you attend to my birthday party.Maybe you could talk to her.” Pinkie said.
“Ya think she will talk to me?” Rainbow asked them hopefully.
“Of course,Dashie” Pinkie answered.
“Well it’s not gonna hurt me if I try.” Rainbow and Blaze took of the air leaving her friends behind.

At Pinkie’s Party....
Ponies dancing, cheering, eating, playing and everything at the center of the room.Pinkie put a private party for her friends and now they are on the top of the hills.

Flash is helping Twilight after he transferred by Celestia as Twilight’s new royal guard.He helped her take her meds for her heart that time.
Rainbow could see how he take care of her instead of her.Her friends are laughing and talking about stuff.
Rainbow felt out of the place.
‘They used to not seeing me,I guess’ she thought.
“May I have this dance?” Twilight held her hoof out.
Her friends changed their reaction.The wind change.The atmosphere changed.
“O-okay...” Rainbow replied.
They dance a little bit far away from their friends.And since they have wings, they are dancing in the mid air.
“Could you answer me honestly?” Twilight suddenly broke the silence
“Sure”
“Your mother told me you died because of your consequences but still you’re here right now, dancing with me.Is it true that you die but you woke up or they didn’t kill you?” Twilight tale the lead on dancing.
Rainbow lowered her head.“They didn’t kill me.I called my mom saying goodbye to her.And not letting you know that I’m going to kill even though I promised to come back soon.I was about to kill by the emperior when, one of the ranks objected.Saying that I don’t need to be killed because I’m the highest emperior rank in Cloudsdale.So they didn’t kill me but they made me say another pledged that I’m going to protect my family no matter what.I worked at the Antlerdam for four years and decided to go home.” she lift her head slowly.She saw Twilight’s tears are forming on the side of her eyes.
“I told to our friends you died.They even make a funeral ceremony for you.I told them that I’m not going to let you go without a proof that you died.” she sobbed.Rainbow cupped her face wiping her tears.
“I will always live for you Twi, you know that” Rainbow smiled at her.
“I miss you Rainbow.” Twilight said happily.
“You know I kinda felt jealous for a while.” Rainbow said.
They sat behind the tree looking up the sky.
“And why is that?”
“I saw how that Flash guy help you drink your meds.” she pouted.
“Well he’s the only one who’s there for me when I’m still on my breakdown.” Twilight said.
“I’m really sorry that I didn’t tell you about it.You know that I’m not that kind of pony who’s gonna tell their story unlike Rarity.” Rainbow said.
“Do you still remember your promise to me,Rainbow”
Rainbow smiled.”of course...ehem...The one and only promised that I’m going to keep is to protect Twilight and will never hurt her”
“Just cut that hurt part.You kinda hurt me anyways” Twilight said.
“Hey! You know I can still keep it, if you’re beside me”
“Really?!” Twilight’s face brighten.
“120% sure” she said confidently.
“You really are a laugh” Twilight giggled.
“I love you,Rainbow”
“I love you too, egghead”
They looked at each other and laughed.
“Do you know why a pony cry for their love ones?”
“Why?” Rainbow asked.
“Because they are into each other”
“I don’t understand.”
“Do you know why I’m crying?”
“Because you’re happy?” Rainbow answered.
“Because I’m into you” Twilight answered.
“What’s the point in there?” Rainbow brows furrowed.
“I wanna cry more”
“And here I thought I’m the cheesy one.You’re one of the best mare I’ve met in this world” Rainbow stand up followed by Twilight.
“I know and you’re the best coltish mare I’ve ever met and the one and only mare I want to be with.”
“I know how to I can call you mine.” Rainbow smirked.They walked towards the table when her friends are jamming.
“Hello girls!” Twilight called.
“Well look at that, told ya RD things will sort out” Applejack congratulate her.
“Yup and my plan worked.” Pinkie’s cheered.
“Oh by the way Rainbow, What did you said last time before we came here.” Twilight asked her.All of their friends are facing her right now.
“Okay...” she cleared her throat.
“I know how I can call Twilight mine” she said proudly.
“How?” They all asked.Rarity’s eyes sparkled when she realize what is it.
“I’m gonna marry you.”
