Carmen and Alan stood outside the Principals office for a while until Spike walked back out with a piece of paper
"I've been enrolled into Mrs.Simians Class," he said bluntly, he jumped when the other two cheered
"That's our class!"Alan said
"Lucky for you we found you hu?" Carmen said with a shake of her head "Never been to School," She grabbed his hand and lead him along with Alan floating overhead.
"There are so many people in our class, you're bound to befriend some of them" Alan stated as they made their way to the class, Carmen opened the door and opened it to the loud class, before they could enter an old Monkey in a dress stood in their way
"This world has everything," Spike thought as she looked down at them
"You two are late...and who might you be?" Spike's response was to hand her the Piece of paper. she looked over it "New student...well Spike, I am your Teacher Mrs.Simion, and I like to welcome you...BUT THAT DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU WHERE ALL LATE, DETENTION!" She yelled as she pointed them in, as Spike walked in he leaned in
"What's a Detention?"
"Means you stay after school."
"Oh joy" Spike muttered as Carmen pointed him to an empty seat, he sat in it and looked to his left, and looked into the eyes of a T-Rex, they stared at each other, and Spike blinked
"Not even surprised," He thought as the T-Rex looked him over, then said
"Nice hat," Spike said the first thing that came to mind
"Nice Teeth." He replied
"Thanks" it Replied before turning to look forward, he looked around at his Classmates, there was an Eyeball, some sort of Rainbow Blob, a golden thing, Living Ice Cream, an 8-bit Spider, and many other things, but what caught his immediate attention was a Orange Goldfish who was looking back at him from the front of the class. It waved enthusiastically at him, Spike gave a wave back,
"Alright Settle Down, first we have a new Student, Spike." When Spike gave no indication he had heard her she turned around and started writing on the chalkboard. Spike looked ahead and started mentally taking notes.
-Lunch Time-
as the class made their way off to lunch Spike was Greeted by Carmen and Alan once again
"So Make any friends?"
"A T-Rex said I have a nice hat," Spike said as he followed them to "and the Rainbow Glob said he'd be my friend for 20 bucks."
"You Mean Tina?"
"That Blob was Girl?"
"No, The T-Rex!"
"Oh...Nice to Now my Seat Neighbor's Name." as he was walking he felt something weird on his foot he picked it up to see a squashed piece of Bread "What?"
"I think you stepped on Anton."
"Oh..." Spike scraped it off his foot and watched it fall to the floor "I'm sure he'll be fine." Spike said as he continued on his way.
"Yeah, happens all the time" Alan replied when Spike noticed the Orange Fish walking next to him
"Hello!"
"Afternoon" Spike Replied offering his hand for a shake, with the Fish happily took
"I'm Darwin, Pleasure to meet you." he said, "It's not often we get to meet new people." Spike took off his hat, allowing his Spines to pop out, and gave Darwin a polite bow.
"Not often people Greet me so nicely on the first meeting."
"I like you Spines," A Female voice said making him jump, he turned to see a Cartoonish Dinosaur
"Oh, Thanks, I was named Spike Cause they look like Spikes." Spike put his hat back on, "Clever I know" he added sarcastically, then turned back to the Dinosaur "I'm sorry, your name is?"
"Molly"
"Pleasure to meet you," He said again, taking off his hat Politely. he then directed a Question at all of them "Any Idea what's for lunch" A few minutes later Spike looked at the slop on his plate.
"And I was starting to like this place" he muttered as he poked at the food, he scooped some of it up and took a bite, "Nope" he declared as he spat it out "I ain't eating that!" He threw the food away and looked around, "Must be something better to eat around here." he sat back down and looked over at his new friends who seemed to be enjoying a romantic lunch. he looked around for a moment and got up, "time to meet new people" he got up took a step and walked into a metal object
"Ow," he grumbled as he looked down at a Robot who had turned to him
"Do you require something?" It Asked.
"Yeah, you wouldn't happen to know where a guy can get some good grub would ya?" The Robot eye showed a loading sign, then said
"What do you require to eat?"
"how about a Saphire?"
"Acquiring Saphire," it said and with a blast, it shot through the roof, Spike looked up at the hole
"Well shoot, Didn't think he'd go find one for me," Spike said as he stood looking up at the ceiling, as he waited to see if it would really come back, he was suddenly cast in a Large shadow, he turned and saw the T-Rex Tina and some orange thing looking at him.
"So you're the new meat I've heard about?" The Orange thing said as she took a step towards him and looked him up and down. "You Don't look so tuff."
"I've been told" Spike responded as the Thing Grabbed his arm and shook it
"Hm, but I do feel some muscle here" It Looked up at him "But not much" Before Spike could retort the Robot Landed next to him and handed him a dirt-covered Saphire
"Saphire Acquired."
"You asked Bobert to get you..."
"Lunch!" Spike cheered as he grabbed it and took a Bite, the Orange thing and Tina looked on in shock as he ate the Crystal like a candy Bar, after finishing up Spike licked his lips
"I need that" he Looked down at the Orange thing, with had an impressed look on its Face
"Alright, I'm Impressed, Ever need some "Friends" Come to talk to Tina and Me, we can hang."
"Can I at least get your name?"
"Jamie."
"Spike" he responded with a polite tip his hat, once again showing off his Spines, "And I've already established your name as Tina." Tina took a Large Step and offered Spike her Tiny hand, Spike shook it
"Nice to make both of your Acquaintances," Spike said, "Anyone else I become friends within this arrangement?"
"Well, there is Anton." Jamie Said, Spike looked bluntly at her
"Oops,"
"Oops? Oops, what?" Jamie Questioned
"I totally stepped on that guy," Spike said, Tina and Jamie looked at him, then Laughed
"I knew you where my kind of guy" Jamie Laughed as she and Tina left "I'm Never Letting Anton live this down!" Spike watched them leave.
"They seemed cheery." Spike decided as the bell rang for Recess. Spike made his way outside and sat on a bench, next to him sat a Paper Bear, who eyed him and scooted away pretty well for a 2-D Bear made of Paper, Spike figured it was because she didn't want to be close to him since he could breathe fire.
"Nice Day" He tried, he looked back at her and found she had moved to the next bench over "HEY! That was just mean!" Spike muttered as he leaned on his arm, the Bear looked at him then asked
"on a scale of 1 to 10, how Clean are you?"
"Um...Like how Clean Am I at the start of each day, or just right now?" Spike asked turning to her
"Both," she replied
"Oh...um at the start, 9 out of 10, now...probably 6 out of 10" she Scoffed
"9, I give myself a 9, I srub myself every morning, I keep everything clean, everything in my house washed and dried twice, I'm never below 8!"
"Oh, um...I just set myself on fire and wash my clothes."
"you do what!?"
"I'm a Dragon...and nothing kills germs quite like Fire." Spike blew fire on his hand and waved at her, she was now sitting next to him and grabbed his hand, Spike waited, then heard her gasp
"This is Remarkably clean, hm...but I can't can't set myself on fire..."
"I also take 7-hour bubble baths, so I guess that would also help in the factor." The Bear shook his clean hand
"I'm Teri, and your name is Spike right?"
"Indeed," Spike said, " And it's a pleasure to meet you Teri" he gave her a tip of his hat and he spent the rest of his Recess listening to her talk about cleaning products, diseases, and how many different ways germs could kill. It was better than doing nothing at least.
"This place is Weird, and the people here are all amusing to be around, I can stand to stay until Twilight figures out how to get me back," He thought as he listened to Teri "After all, I've already made quite a few friends."
