Soarin POV

Whatever I was expecting, I certainly wasn't expecting this.

It was pitch black, so dark you couldn't even see you hands if you held them in front of you.

I groped around in the darkness, and clutched onto what I thought was Twilight's hand.

"Hey, Sunset, are you sure you got the enchantment right? It's so dark in here!" I said.

Twilight's voice came from a few feet behind me,"I'll turn on a light!"

All of a sudden, Twilight used her magic to illuminate the room without warning, and we shielded our eyes away from the glow.

With the aid of the light, I saw that actually I was holding Rarity's hand, who's owner was blushing furiously.

Sunset said,"Oh, why is her heart so dark-"

A screen appeared in front of me.

Mistress Mare-velous commented,"This place sure is creepy."

A scream erupted throughout the room, as everyone winced and covered their ears in pain.

"Please, don't!" a familiar voice cried.

It was coming from the screen.

A disturbing scene greeted my eyes.

Rainbow was tied to a chair, wounds all over her, and Lightning standing over her with an evil smirk on her face.

She looked helpless, terrified, and mortified.

"Tell me everything, or your loved ones will perish." said Lightning.

"I...I...I'll do it, but only for the sake of my friends!" Rainbow finally managed to say.

I looked away, disgusted. How could Lightning do this to Rainbow?

As my back was turned to the screen, another screen appeared in front of me, this time showing a scene I didn't to remember...

Flashback:

A month ago, a peaceful Monday...

I just arrived to Canterlot High School, went to the chemistry lab and sat down, when an explosion of people talking erupted in the hallway outside the classroom.

The door was pushed open.

"I told you, I walked into a wire fence and fell off the stairs...did you listen?"

I looked up and saw Rainbow Dash entering the room with her friends, right in the middle of an argument.

I gasped. Rainbow had like fifty bandages all over her body, and she was leaning heavily on her crutches to walk.

"Rainbow! What happened? Did anyone hurt you?" I asked.

She turned to look at me.

"Soarin? What are you doing here?" she said.

I replied,"Class, duh." 

"I...I just walked into a wire fence and fell off the stairs at home, okay?" said Rainbow.

She glanced left and right as she said this, very suspicious.

I said,"Really?! Tell me the truth!"

"Really! That's what really happened!" she cried, earning stares from everyone in the room.

She looked down, clearly embarrassed.
