Chapter 8: Nightmare or Reality

Fandom stopped to catch his breath as Mana and Fluttershy clutched each other trembling with fear. He didn't know whether he should thank or scold Twilight once they reunited. But he knew, she did it out of fear. Her teleportation magic shouldn't have sent them too far from each other.

"Are you two alright?" asked Fandom.

"Yeah somehow," answered Mana.

"What are we going to do?" whimpered Fluttershy.

"I don't know, but I'll think of something," answered Fandom. He froze. "Quiet," said Fandom. The two cover their mouths as Fandom slowly peeked out from the under the stairs. He could see Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmare Foxy walking down the steps. Their footsteps echoing throughout the mansion. He quickly pulled his head back under the stairs as the two animatronics slowly jumped off the stairs and walked past them. Mana and Fluttershy slowly removed their hands and hoofs away from the mouth and inched closer. Suddenly the two animatronics stopped halfway. Fandom quickly covered both of their mouth and waited. Eventually the two animatronics walked off not noticing the three under the stairs. Fandom slowly removed his hands from the two's mouth as they let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank Celestia they didn't notice us," sighed Fluttershy.

"Come on let's go," said Fandom grabbing the two by the arm.

"What?" asked Mana.

"We can't stay here forever, besides we have to find the others," said Fandom. He gently dragged the two out from under the stairs. Fandom cautiously inspected the area before climbing the stairs. Fluttershy and Mana following behind.

Reiko slowly poked her head out of the vase she was hiding in. She could she Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare Chica searching the room not noticing Luigi who was hiding under the bed or Six who was hiding in the closet. After 5 minutes of searching the two gave up and left the room, slamming the door behind them. Reiko waited for a while before crawling out of the vase.

"That was close," said Reiko.

"Oh, I hate those things," whimpered Luigi.

"Do you think the others are alright?" asked Six.

'We won't know until we find them," said Reiko. "Let's go," she slowly opened the door and walked out, Luigi and Six following behind.

Twilight hated herself, not because she had accidentally teleported everyone away from each other, but because she thought hiding in the mansion's kitchen was a good idea. But after seeing the two ugly chefs, she instantly regretted her decision. Seriously the ugly emotionless faces were disgusting. Twilight slowly poked her head out from under the table she was hiding and scanned the room looking for Kitaro and Seven. She noticed Kitaro hiding behind one of the shelves and Seven under the sink. Just as she was about to crawl out she heard the sound of mechanical stomping and quickly slid back under. The chef turned around as Nightmare Freddy and Nightmare walked in. The two walked past the chef and began searching. They began tossing food and jars making the chefs angry. Eventually the chef kicked them out and gave Twilight the chance to crawl out.

"Note to self never teleport when you're panicking," said Twilight.

"This brings back bad memories," said Seven.

"We should probably find the others," suggested Kitaro.

"I would love to get out of here," said Seven. The two huddled next to Twilight as she teleported them out.

Fandom led Fluttershy and Mana down the halls while staying quiet as possible. They had managed to stay hidden from the animatronics thus far but they really wanted to reunite with their friends.

"This is really creepy," whimpered Fluttershy.

"I know but we can't just leave, not without our friends," said Fandom.

"Wait what's that?" asked Mana pointing forward. Fandom stopped and looked forward to see something. The creature was slender and was about the height of an average human. It had two arms that was held out and looked like it was made of concrete with some sort of paint. It had a gaping mouth in the center of it's face with red substance surrounding it's mouth. Two green eyes were set apart several inches away from it's mouth and two large black holes under it's eyes.

"Aww fuck," cursed Fandom. "It HAD to be this thing,"

"What is it?" asked Fluttershy.

"SCP-173 aka The Sculpture," answered Fandom. "It's a hostile animate object that can't move while you have it's sight on it," explained Fandom.

"Well that doesn't sound so bad," said Mana.

"It's not, the worst part is it's method of killing," said Fandom.

"Killing?" whimpered Fluttershy.

"Yeah, like I mentioned just now, it can only move when we break eye contact, if that happens it will break the victims neck killing them instantly," explained Fandom. "However when there's multiple people like right now, you must announce that you're blinking before doing so,"

"Ok I take it back, this is terrifying," said Mana.

"Wait I think I see something else," said Fluttershy. Sure enough a second creature slowly walked out of the shadows and stopped next to SCP-173. The creature seem to resemble an elderly humanoid that was already in a stage of decomposition.

"No not him too!" yelped Fandom.

"Who's that?" asked Mana.

"SCP-106 aka Radical Larry as many players call him," answered Fandom. "He is isn't very agile and can easily scale any vertical surfaces and can cause a corrosion effect in which everything he touches will enter a physical breakdown seconds after coming in contact with him," explained Fandom. "It's said that he will attempt to damage major organs, muscle groups, and tendons then drag the victim into it's quote on quote pocket dimension,"

'Is there any way to avoid him?" asked Mana.

"The best option is to run when you get the chance," answered Fandom.

"How do we do that when we can't even break eye contact with the Sculpture?" asked Fluttershy.

"The only answer to that is, we're screwed," answered Fandom.

Reiko, Luigi, and Six continued to walk around the Scarlet Devil Mansion searching for their friends while avoiding the animatronics.

"Geez Fandom where are you?" Reiko mumbled.

"Is it just me or is it darker than usual?" asked Six.

"Hey do you hear that?" asked Luigi. Sure enough, the three stopped to hear strange whimpering accompanied by scratching. Luigi yelped and quickly hid behind Reiko trembling in fear.

"What is it?" asked Reiko. Luigi pointed forward shaking. Confused Reiko looked up to see two creatures standing there. One was a strange humanoid with stained skin stitched together to it's body. Multiple scars covered it's body and it's jaw could be hanging over it's torso. It had large bulging eyes that stared intently at the three and it's left hand was missing fingers with a large blade in it's place. The second creature had no eyes, a clear indication that they were blind. They looked like a humanoid with dusty brown skin.

"What are those?" asked Six.

"I don't know but they don't look friendly," answered Reiko. Just then, the two creatures began running towards them. Reiko didn't need to stay to know what was coming next. The three didn't waste time as they began running in the direction they came from.

A bright purple light illuminated the dark lobby of the Scarlet Devil Mansion as Twilight, Kitaro, and Seven appeared.

"Sweet Celestia we made it out," gasped Twilight as fell on the ground.

"So much for escaping my nightmares," groaned Seven.

"Father, do you suppose the others are alright?" asked Kitaro.

"We can only hope for the best," said Daddy Eyeball.

"Uh guys since when was that thing there?" asked Seven. The two looked towards the left to see a large blue humanoid creature with a large head.

"Strange, father could that be a yokai?" asked Kitaro.

"I'm not sure, I haven't seen a yokai like that," answered Daddy Eyeball. Their thoughts were interrupted when the ground beneath them suddenly began to shake.

"What's happening?!" yelped Twilight. It wasn't until the shaking stopped that Seven heard the sound of scrapping coming from behind him. He turned around to see a large humanoid figure wearing a bloody apron holding a large machete. However where his head was supposed to be was a large bronze pyramid. "Uh guys I think we're surrounded," said Seven. Kitaro and Twilight turned around to see the monster lifting up the machete with one arm. The three huddled closer as the two beast slowly began approaching them from either sides.

"There!" Twilight said pointing towards the stairs. She began running up the steps but was suddenly knocked back and sent tumbling back down when something landed in front of her. Kitaro and Seven managed to catch her before she could hit the floor.

"Twilight are you alright?" asked Kitaro.

"Yeah I'm fine but..." Twilight looked up to see a third creature standing at the top of the stairs. The creature looked like a human zombie but hunched over with two elongated arms around the shoulder area. Large blades could be seen hanging down from it's wrist and multiple scars covered the creature's body. The monster began walking down the stairs shaking it's two blades as it hissed. Meanwhile the other two monsters continued to approach the three closing in on them.

"This night couldn't get any worse," whimpered Twilight.
