Soarin POV
I woke up fairly late this morning, at about 10:30 am.
I lazily dressed and went downstairs and cooked pancakes for breakfast.
Ten minutes later, the pancakes were cooked and I sat down for breakfast.
The pancakes were almost finished when I heard the doorbell ringing.
It rang and rang again.
Gosh, the person(s) outside must be really impatient.
I hurried up and opened the door.
I saw Rainbow's friends at my doorstep, waiting impatiently.
"Soarin, something's happened!" cried Twilight Sparkle.
I asked,"What? Slow down for a bit and tell me."
"Rainbow has been kidnapped by her nemesis, Lightning Dust! We need your help to rescue her!" said Applejack.
I replied,"Oh no! Let's go NOW!"
"Oh, and bring a first-aid box just in case Rainbow might be injured." reminded Rarity.
I grabbed one just nearby and left the house.
We raced to a secluded house.
Sunset Shimmer was waiting for us, six strange girls in tow.
"Who are they?" I asked.
Sunset replied,"Actually, another world parallel to this one exists. These girls are Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rainbow's counterparts. They are dressed up so there wouldn't be two of them at the same time. Since I come from that world, which it's name is Equestria, so I don't have a duplicate of myself."
A girl with blue and red hair piped up,"So, you're my counterpart's boyfriend, huh?! A big deal."
"We found a manhole which apparently leads to our destination. Let's go." said Sunset.
She, the counterparts, the real ones and I went to the western edge of the garden, where there's a manhole.
Twilight Sparkle opened the cover.
Pee-yoo! It stinks so bad!
There were stairs leading down to darkness.
"Luckily, I brought torches (modern ones)." said Sunset.
She gave us one each, which adds up to thirteen.
We descended into the darkness
I thought: We're gonna save Rainbow. That's a promise.
