20 minutes had passed since Monika joined the party and now Player's Party was about leave ponyville. But they soon realized that a strange barrier had locked them in the corrupted village.
"What do we do now?' asked Monika.
"Well considering that we're locked in here, it must mean that we haven't completed the level yet," answered Player.
"But we saved Monika, wasn't that the level itself?" asked Twilight.
"That's what I thought, but if my thinking is correct there should be a way we can check our objectives," said Player. He pulled up the menu and looked around for a message that wasn't there before.
"Did you find it?" asked Twilight.
"No," answered Player.
"Hey kid, did you check that explanation point at the top?" asked Sans. Player looked up to see a small explanation point blinking.
"What the hell?" asked Player. He tapped the explanation point as a small text box opened up. Objective: Defeat the Area Boss. "Damn Sans how did you find that?"
"I got my eye socket opened for anything," snickered Sans.
"Funny," Player said sarcastically.
"Who's the Area Boss?" asked Twilight.
"Wouldn't you like to know," a voice spoke up. The four turned around to see Error Sans standing behind them. "Heya," said Error Sans waving at them.
"You son of a bitch," growled Player.
"Whoa come on, don't give me that," snickered Error Sans.
"What do you want?" growled Twilight.
"You were looking for the area boss right?" asked Error Sans. "Well look no further!" he exclaimed.
"Wait, YOU'RE the area boss?" asked Monika.
"What no, I wish I was," laughed Error Sans. "But you know Simulacrum really wanted this game to be fair, so instead you'll be fighting against someone you might know,"
"Who?" asked Twilight. Error Sans held up his hand as blue wires shot out from each of his fingers. He lowered his arm down towards the left where the blue wires stretched out behind a crumbling building. Smirking Error Sans yanked his hand towards the left as something was dragged out. The creature was had a lime green body with three gems attached to it's chest. It's tail was shimmering in a blue color and was easy to see through. The creature had two purple eyes and two orange antlers sticking out at the top of it's head. "Thorax?!" Twilight gasped. The creature looked up with a terrified look.
'Twilight!" Thorax called out to her.
"It would appear that your friend here isn't an NPC," said Player.
"Thorax what are you doing here?" asked Twilight.
"I was dragged out here by him," Thorax answered pointing at Error Sans. "He told me that if I didn't do as I was told, then he would destroy my entire hive!" Everyone looked over at Error Sans who only smirked.
"Well enough chit chat, let's do this," said Error Sans. He held out his other hand as more blue wires shot out from his fingers. The wires untangled themselves and tied themselves around a small red heart that appeared in front of Thorax's chest. "Alright shape shifter let's show these fools what we're made off," said Error Sans.
"Twilight run, I don't wanna hurt you!" screamed Thorax.
"We're not going anywhere until we save you!" exclaimed Twilight. "Player let's go!" Player glared at Error Sans who just smirked.Player took a step forward with the three as a large text box appeared. Area Boss 1: Thorax. Player looked underneath Thorax's name to see a long green bar.
"Let's do this!" exclaimed Player. He hit the fight option and pulled up his skills. Dagger Slash, Talk Over, Spare, Determination. The dagger appeared in his right hand as he got into battle stance. Player used Dagger Slash. Player lunged forward and slashed at his chest. -60 appeared over his head as the green bar fell by a small amount of the way. Player returned back to his spot and switched with Sans.
"Sorry buddy," said Sans pulling up his skills. Bone Barrage, Gaster Blaster, Teleportation, Telekinesis. Sans's right eye flashed blue as multiple bones appeared around him. Sans used Bone Barrage. He flicked his finger as the bones struck Thorax in the heart one by one. -70 Combo 30x appeared over his head. Sans watched as Thorax's HP bar immediately shoot down to yellow. "Damn close," said Sans. He quickly returned to his spot and switched with Twilight.
"Twilight it hurts," Thorax whimpered.
"I know, and I'm sorry," apologized Twilight as she opened up her skills. Magic Blast, Teleportation, Barrier, Friendship Twilight aimed her horn at Thorax's heart as charged up her attack. Twilight used Magic Blast. not wanting to look, Twilight closed her eyes and fired striking Thorax in the heart with the ball of purple energy. -100 Critical Hit! appeared over his head. Twilight looked up to see his HP bar fall but remain in the yellow. She noticed that he had 576/2836 HP left. Twilight quickly retreated as Monika took her place.
"He's almost done for, let's finish this," said Monika opening her skills. Delete, Doki Doki, Healing Poem, Battle Boost. Monika pulled out a piece of paper and began reading a poem on strength as red aura surrounded her party members Monika used Battle Boost She switched spots with Player as a text box appeared over them. Player Turn End. Enemy Turn
"You think you can beat me!?" laughed Error Sans. He thrusted his arm forward forcing Thorax to walk up to Player and kick him in the face. -10 appeared over Player's head and Thorax returned to his position.
"Sorry," whimpered Thorax.
"No time for sorry now," said Player pulling up his skills. Dagger Slash, Talk Out, Spare, Determination Player used Dagger Slash. Player lunged forward and slashed Thorax in the chest. -120 Critical Hit appeared over his head as his health moved down a little more. Player retreated as Sans took his place.
"Hang in there buddy," said Sans. Bone Barrage, Gaster Blaster, Teleportation, Telekinesis A Gaster Blaster appeared next to Sans as he pointed his finger gun at Thorax. The Blaster opened it's jaws as it began to charge it's attack Sans used Gaster Blaster "Bang," The blaster fired it's beam as -200 Critical Hit appeared over his head. Thorax winced as his HP fell into the red zone. Sans quickly stepped back and let Twilight take his spot.
"I'm really sorry Thorax," apologized Twilight. Magic Blast, Teleportation, Barrier, Friendship Twilight pointed her horn at Thorax as she began to charge up another attack. Twilight used Magic Blast This time instead of one, two energy balls struck Thorax. -150 Critical Hit appeared over his head. Twilight watched as Thorax collapsed on the ground as his HP fell to zero. +1,000 appeared over her head followed by the catchy music.

"Tch you got lucky, but don't think to win so easily next time," sneered Error Sans. The blue wires retreated back into his fingers as he teleported out of ponyville. Twilight and her friends ran over to Thorax to see if he was alright. Thorax groaned as he sat up.
"Ouch," said Thorax.
"I'm sorry Thorax, did I hit you too hard?" asked Twilight.
"No, either way I was more worried about you," said Thorax.
"Geez I wanna beat that skeleton the next time we see him," said Player.
'Well at least he's all right," said Monika. Just as she said that. the barrier surrounding ponyville disappeared and soon the environment began repairing itself until it looked like the way it did before.
"Looks like we beat this level," said Sans.
"Hey Twilight, when you get the chance, can you show me how to do that?" asked Thorax.
"Do what?" asked Twilight.
"You know the game," answered Thorax.
"Oh, well yeah sure," said Twilight.
"Great thanks," said Thorax.
"Well now that we completed this level, we should be able to move onto the next," said Player.
"Wait, what are you planning to do Thorax?" asked Twilight.
"I have to get back to my hive, but you have to save the world right?" asked Thorax. "Good luck,"
"Thanks," said Twilight. She looked at the other three and nodded.
"Alright then let's move out!" beamed Player. The five exchanged goodbyes as Player and his party left ponyville to their next destination.
