Raid - [Castle of Glass]

---~[Previously on MLP: Actualization Online]~---

The first, most likely their leader, was a brown unicorn. His mane was dirty blonde, and tied in a warrior's wolf tail, same for his tail, his eyes were cobalt, and he had a beard. His body was platted in gold armour, the same type as the Royal Guard, so it was certainly rare, but not uncommon, but he wore a golden greatsword, with rubies dawning the hilt, and guard.

[Laxus - lvl 34]

To his left was another unicorn mare with a pink coat like Pinkie's, and with a long, white mane and tail. Her eyes were emerald green, and she wore red robes, with gold, and white lines across the middle, rim of her folded hood, back, and some arcane runes on the back. Whist she carried an oak staff on her back, with a topaz twisting around the branches at the top. She was one of the three with a sweet smile on their faces.

[Summer - lvl 29]

Last on the left was a Changeling, with crimson wings, and eyes, and had black leather adorning his black body, with a bandana covering his mouth, and a small, red scarf around his neck. I liked his style already. He looked to have wolverine claws strapped to his hooves, both back and front too.

[Ambulas - lvl 32]

The two on his right were....oh wow, twins. They were both pegasus mares, with one having a black coat, and the other a white. The first on the right had white eyes to her black coat, whist her mane was a short white, and wild style, tail matching too. She wore a set of armour I saw in Ponyville before, named 'Rogue', due to its pirate-like style, belts, leather tunic, stitching, the whole pirate look, complete with two silver cutlasses to her sides. She, and her 'sister' were the only others with welcoming smiles.

[Yin - lvl 31]

Her 'sister' was the same, only colours were reversed, and she wore chest armour, shoulder pads, gauntlets, hip armour, and a small helmet over her combed, black mane, with a black coat over her chest-piece. Her Cutie mark was like her sister's, a yin/yang symbol, only it was the 'Yang' section, her sister was 'Yin'. Which meant her name was....

[Yang - lvl 32]

[Sealed Chambers]

"Its been a long time since we've seen a door like this...." Rain whispered in awe of the massive double doors before us, massive shards of glass sticking out from parts of the door, with some crystals nestled in the corners of the hallway, with blue flames lighting the path to and from the doorway, which was a pure white door, with gold trimming, and royal purple amethysts built into the doors

Behind us was about twelve more players, all awaiting the gemstone bearers to open the doorway, meanwhile, I stood in the middle, my key now resting in my hoof as it continued to hum the colours of the rainbow with a resonating heart beat. To my left, Laxus held a Ruby. Summer held out her Topaz. Bombard held out an Amber. Next, to my right, Yin held onto her Sapphire. Yang stood with a Emerald in hoof. Last was Summer, holding an Amethyst.

"Place the gemstones, and key." I called out, before we lightly tapped our Relics to the doors, awaiting the sound to begin the Raid Lair's activation

"Here we go again...." Bombard grumbled to my far left, yet, I came eye-to-eye with Ambulas, his crimson gaze lingering on my own

*Tiiiiiiing-Clank-Clank-Clank-Clank*

The doors creaked open again, the sound of the hinges was more smooth, and aged, before we were greeted with-A mirror? Soon the whole Raid Party was muttering to themselves, seeing their reflections in the mirror, along with are baffled faces, my red glasses reflecting the light slightly from the rebound image of fire behind me.

"Is this suppose to happen?" Yin asked me, nudging my side, but I didn't respond, instead I looked closely at my reflection, staring intently at the image of....wait, my glasses are blue, not red! "Hey, my mane's white not black?"

"Everyone get back!" I called out, but by the time I went to turn my head from the mirror, a sharp blade caught my neck, before the lance-like blade parted to create fingers of smooth glass, as it latched around my face, closing tight, before it pulled me towards the mirror, dragging me through the reflection, and into a pool of white, meanwhile, I felt something grab my tail, before it too was dragged through into the white voidless mass around me

"....Hey....come on, wake up....!" Ugh, shut uuuuuup..... "Sorry to do this!"

*Thud*

"Ow, ok....ok, I'm up!" I groaned, rubbing my muzzle as I opened my eyes to a very strange scene, my head still hazy from what had occurred mere moments ago. Actually, I quickly looked to my hoof, breathing a sigh of relief at the key still in my hoof, so I threw it back into my inventory, turning my gaze to the hallway around me

I saw dozen's of my own reflections, spanning the walls for eons, with absolutely no end in sight, the area had lighting, thank god, but I was still puzzled with what I was trying to see, or what I was trying to focus on. The floor was a smooth, blue surface, and stretched down other halls, and into the reflections too, navigation seeming to be impossible. Then it appeared above us all.

[Castle of Glass]

"It meant it literally, a bloody mirror maze." I scoffed, looking to who was with me, and to my shock, only four others stood with me. There was Yin, who must have been the one to grab my tail before I was pulled through the mirror. Nox, she was busy looking down another hallway, her halberd out and ready in her magic. Last was two of the new raid members, another Thestral with a dagger, and a stallion in armour, Earth Pony too. "Where's everyone else?"

"Gone, seems that whatever grabbed you blinded us in a white light, before we all awoke in this maze, it must have chucked us in different parts of it too." Nox grumbled, obviously not pleased with what had occurred, couldn't blame her, I wasn't thrilled by that aspect either, but complaining wasn't going to do us favors, so I got up, before Yin handed me Parting Glass, very fitting now. "What's the plan then?"

"We....well there's the option to find the rest, but with a maze as backwards as this, chances are that's not going to happen, but if we head for the end of the maze, we may be able to meet them all there too." Both my ideas were sound, but one meant waiting, and the other was risking our items to fighting monsters, all most likely wandering the maze, not to mention any mini bosses. "Vote, I guess."

"Lets head for the end." One from Yin

"Find the end." Another from Nox, then she looked at us through her mask. "They can handle themselves just fine, worrying about them will only make things worse."

"He's right, we should find the end to this creepy place." The Therstral offered, before the man in armour stared in silence, his helmet turned to down the hall behind me. "You ok, dude?"

"No....there's something there, look." We all turned to the direction of his hoof, and with a little concentration on all the moving reflections, we saw the crystal monster moving towards us, a lance in-hand, as its body underneath resembled that of Klaw's avatar of a dragon or drake

[Limb of Refraction - lvl 25]

"Well that's a little sad....I was, agh! Dammit!" We quickly looked to Nox, who fell back to swing her halberd downwards, cracking the axe-head against the helmet of another Limb of Refraction, it too was only level 25, then we saw it, it wasn't that they were walking out from the other hallways, they were coming out of the mirrors on the walls, turning a pane grey when they appeared. Just then, two more joined the first, making four. "Crap, they got numbers on us!"

"That's creepy." Yin shivered, pulling her cutlasses out, before she flew in the air to hold them both, then they glowed gold, her face lighting up, along with the mirrors. "Suck on this, losers!"

[Dual Edge - Swashbuckler]

Yin quickly flipped her body horizontally, before she spun in the air towards the Limbs of Refraction, their lances striking out, two struck her front legs, but she continued her motion, her blades slicing through the middle one's head, cleaving it in two, before she spun upright, completely decapitating the remaining two with her final spin. Their bodies soon fell over, and burst into a stream of blues, and whites, just as she placed her cutlasses in their sheaths, dusting her hooves off.

I ran for Nox's side, just as she plunged her halberd into the Knight that attacked her, stopping it dead in its tracks, before a new Knight reeled its lance back, ready to strike, but I came running in, swinging my sword out, before I instantly glowed bright crimson, then I leapt forwards, directing my blade towards its abdomen.

[Sword Skill - Rage Spike]

I quickly punctured the Knight with my blade, shattering the grey pane of glass behind it, as its body lurched under the force of the strike, before it went limp around my blade, it too bursting into a stream of blue, and white, leaving all of us to relax for a moment. Then I turned to view Nox, who nodded with a thanks under her mask.

"Ok, so lots of enemies to overwhelm us, that's new." The guy in the armour stated matter-of-factly, before I glanced to my right, looking towards the new hall of mirrors, my stomach beginning to drop at the sight of the infinite reflections

"How the hell are we suppose to navigate this?" Nox breathlessly ponder beside me, and I didn't want to know what else might be waiting for us either, so I sighed heavily, before I kicked a shard of the grey mirror down the hall, seeing it touch a wall mere feet from us. "What the hell?"

"Grab the shards of the broken grey mirrors, we can throw them down the halls, see what's actually there, and what's a reflection, could also trigger traps be may enter too if were lucky." Common sense when in a mirror maze, if you threw an object, wait till it hits a wall, then you find your path

"Hehe, remind me not to take you lightly during our match after this, you're scary smart." Yin approached me, and I just scratched the back of my neck

"I-I just have alot of experience in games, this happens to have been one of those times." I bashfully muttered, moving to walk down the hall that was clear. "I hope the others are doing ok?"

[Purplrain's Group]

"That was a bust....guess we can only go left now." Rain muttered to herself, finding the mirror maze to be a never-ending headache on her end, seeing that the parties had been thrown across the maze, leaving her with the very bottom of the barrel, Bombard. Him, along with three others were stuck with her, Rain took it upon herself to clear a few hallways, seeing if she could find a stable path, sadly, most ended in a dead end. "Hopefully they others are having better luck

When she turned into a small open space, she stopped, staring down the open square with confusion. It was a place they picked as a starting point, with only two ways in or out, it was a perfect defence, but....no one was here, not a single soul, just scattered weapons. It didn't take long for her to rush into the open space, throwing herself into the center of the room, moving into a stance as she looked around for any survivors.

"Oh, fuck, its you." The surprised gasp of someone drew her eyes to....Bombard, his body hunched over the remains of an axe, and buckler, his eyes stern at the sight around them, but they relaxed at her appearance, but Rain didn't phase. "At first I thought a monster came running in."

He went to move, but then saw the magic building around Rain's hooves, causing him to slowly stop to face her, his eyes drifting to hers with a suspicious gaze.

"The hell's with you? Find something jumpy to put you on edge?" She didn't respond, before he looked around at the discarded weapons, before connecting the dots, frowning with disdain, and anger. "Hold on-Hold on, you think I did this? Jesus, that cheater really knows how to pick 'em, you can't be serious that you believe i'd kill innocent players!?"

"Give me a reason not to blast you through these walls to the exit, NOW?" Rain sieved, keeping a level head among her raging emotions, if she gave into anger it might cost her. Then, her eyes widened suddenly at Bombard rushing her when she wasn't looking, causing her to raise a hoof to prepare her spell. Bombard was faster though, drawing a black longsword with his magic before Rain, then, he leapt above her, thrusting his blade over her mane. "Huh!?"

[Sword Skill - Rage Spike]

The crimson flash struck the Knight, flinging the remainder of its skull into the mirror behind it, shattering the final pane that turned grey from its arrival, leaving Bombard to fall to his hooves, placing the blade in its scabbard, before he turned to the perplexed Rain, grabbing her by the shoulder, shaking her roughly with a hardened gaze.

"Do something like that again, then maybe I'll let the next one kill you!" He barked, letting her go to look at a forgotten sword, kicking it across the room. "Something else killed them, and I wasn't here to stop it, great to see my luck with these places remains after all this time."

"Did....did you know them?" Rain chocked up, brushing past a spear

"No....just some guys I gathered for the raid, didn't know it was this bad though, tough guys didn't need to die like this." Bombard muttered with a hint of sadness in his voice, before he waved a hoof behind him at Rain. "Go ahead, call me a liar like that idiot of a friend of yours, since you so animatedly follow his words like air."

"No, no I won't, I shouldn't have assumed, I'm sorry for that." Rain felt really guilty now, blaming him for something that he never had any part in, and from what she gathered from their previous encounter, he wasn't one to just flat-out lie, he'd tell you what he thought, and besides, what kind-of killer protects someone from death? "Why do you hate White so much? Is it just because of the Raid?"

"A part of me wants to, even if that isn't right, If you haven't already figured it out, I have a hard time keeping my anger under wraps, but after finding out those guys weren't coming back, and with the idiot threatening that Harbinger guy, I felt that spark of anger hit me, that if he just kept his mouth shut that it would change something." Bombard explained to her, kicking the floor angrily. "I know it makes no sense, alright! I didn't know what else to do, seeing someone die like that, you always want someone to blame, and....agh, this is frustrating!"

".....Direct that anger to Harbinger then." Rain spoke up softly, seeing Bombard look over his navy shoulder with a blank glare. "He did that to them, he did 'this' to all of us, please, just....apologize, when we're out, ok?"

At first he just sighed, shaking his head for a moment, trying to wrap his head around why Rain was being so....kind, he threatened her in the past, and now, she was trying to get him to apologize, and....it was working, so he nodded his head, his eyes closed when he turned to face her. Then, his hoof stuck out to her, before he looked at her with conflicted golden eyes.

"Fine....I uh....I'm sorry, for....well everything I said back then, just....don't expect me to be so civil with that idiot when we talk, right?" He grumbled, but Rain shook his hoof, smiling with her eyes shut, giggling, just as a smile crossed his muzzle, before he left go, rolling his eyes. "Now then, enough with the mushy crap, what the hell killed these guys?"

"I don't it 'was' an enemy." Rain began, feeling uneasy around the remains of her team, just as Bombard looked at her, tilting his head. "Just think about it, we would have heard the fighting, even at out range, the sound of the bodies turning to streams of colour would have hit us."

"Yeah, that's what drew me back, I heard something shatter, followed by footsteps, and they sounded like the thing was in a hurry." Bombard added, rubbing his beard, then, his eyes widened. "Wait....you're sayin' that a player did this?"

"Its the only thing I can draw to. I have a skill that's active now called, 'Recover', it allows me to sense when players or enemies are nearby, and for the whole duration of my search, I only felt the presence of players, no monsters within the range, it can't tell me how many players there are, since its still low level." Rain elaborated with a frown, causing Bombard to look back to his pathway

"Then....whoever did this is out there, and if he finds someone else....shit, we need to move, now." Bombard then picked up a spear off the floor, placing it on his back. "When I find the guy who did this, I'll kill 'em with this."

"And i'll drag him to hell." Rain spat, catching Bombard off guard at Rain's venom, but they soon departed, leaving for the boss room and for the Killer who roamed the maze

[Klaw's Group]

"Go, get to the door quickly!" Klaw called out, blocking another strike from the Knight, its lance piercing his gauntlet, so Klaw grabbed it, before he raised his buster sword, bringing the massive slab of iron down on the body of the Knight. Then another leapt up, thrust down on Klaw, who reeled back, balling his fist up, before it turned into an emerald flame

[Draconic Seal - Cursed Dragon Fist]

He threw it up in an uppercut motion, shattering the face-plate of the Knight, whist smashing the Knight into the ceiling, raining glass upon him, and the twenty Knights that swarmed the narrow hallway. He would use Dragon's Crescendo, but it would do little to phase the resistant Knights, so he could only use his normal attacks, which all of his Stamina was used up on. His left eye was closed, as he grounded his teeth with every breath, seeing another Knight rush him with a lance.

Klaw raised his buster sword up flat, placing his hand on the face, blocking the lance, before he grabbed the handle with both hands, turning it down to his right side, then with a massive heave, he swung the blade in a massive horizontal arc, flinging the Knight through the glass wall, before he pulled back, a lance striking hist shoulder, before another struck his chest, so He slid back, deciding to use the last of his Stamina now.

[Sword Skill - Crescent Rose]

His blade now a hue of red, as he swung the blade downwards with one hand, throwing his body into the air, before he pushed himself down to the ground again, swinging the buster sword in a massive vertical arc, shattering another Knight, and the floor with the strike, before he grabbed the blade with both hands, and swung round in a single fluent motion, slicing three more Knight's in half by the waist. With his Stamina spent, Klaw fell to a knee, panting at the debuff.

Before he could even realize what had happened, Klaw's eyes looked to see another Knight above him, reeling its lance back to strike him. Klaw tried to move, but was still caught in the debuff, then, he felt his body fall back, his buster sword within a red aura of magic, floating past him, just as he saw Silver leap over him, kicking with his back legs to knock the Knight back, before he channeled his magic into his hooves, before slamming them into the ground.

[Aura - Gaia's Hand]

"That will hold/Now we leave/Your part it done." Silver grabbed Klaw's hand, pulling the dragon to his feet as he chuckled, before he noticed Summer holding his buster sword in her telekinetic grasp for him, so he graciously accepted it

"I thank you both, I may have gone a little overboard with my tactic." Klaw admitted, walking towards the group that waited for them at the leaver activated door, where Pinkie, Laxus, Ambulas, and Yang waited. The two groups had their parties too, some didn't make it though, but for the most part they were fine

"Try not to get so focused on the heat of battle next time, ok?" Summer informed him with a frown, making him laugh a little, as she pouted, seeing him acting prideful again. "I swear, how do you handle his ego?"

"Its.....fun." Silver's drawled out answer did little to help, but the two just ignored Klaw for the time being. "Stop."

"My apologize, Silver." Klaw whipped the bridge of his nose, before the blue door shut behind them, then they all noticed Laxus trying to comfort Yang, her mind seemly gone at the loss of her sister

"Life has no meaning." Yang muttered, leaving Laxus to shake his head with a grunt

"She's fine, you need to stop worrying about her, and start focusing on the task at hand, if you can't even work one job without her you might very well be dead!" Laxus complained, feeling her aura of depression begin to irritate him, making him scratch his mane in frustration. "I can't decide who's worse, you, or your hyperactive sister?"

"Don't care. Leave me to die." Yang grumbled, before Pinkie rushed over, cradling the mare in her hooves, as she sulked. "Soft...."

"I will be your shield, aunt Pinkie Pie is here!" Pinkie declared to the players, much to their amusement and bafflement

"Ok, fine, you take her, I'm not doing this." Laxus gave up, just as Summer glared at him, so he raised his hoof with a frown. "You wanna try comforting her, go right ahead, I'm not walking that road again."

"On another note, I wonder how, Rain, and White are doing? Seeing as they too haven't arrived yet." Klaw pondered, before Pinkie smiled, patting Yang on the head softly, a small smile on her muzzle now

"They'll be fiiiiine, their love will lead the way!" Pinkie statement made them look at her funny, meanwhile Silver just face-hoofed, feeling like the only one to have noticed this beforehand. Pinkie didn't take it well. "Huh, you didn't think they'd look cute together?"

"Pinkie, we only met them, so we didn't really see that idea, well, I certainly felt they were close, but with a whole Raid business I never gave it a thought." Summer explained, as the others nodded, then Yang looked up

"My sister said they would be nice together because they were like me, and Yin, opposites." Yang answered, as Pinkie nodded with a hum

"White is blunt. Sarcastic. and funny. Rain is kind. Playful. and random. See?" Pinkie broke down their basic traits, as they nodded

"Both are kindhearted/But clouded/Unable to see this connection." Silver responded in kind, just as Klaw put a....claw to his chin

"While I don't impose we force this on them, it would be nice to see them bond over all of this, its circumstances like this that can lead to love." Klaw concluded, before a small smile stretched across his lips. "But, there's nothing wrong with a bit of irritation from our end."

At that, the group fell into laughter among the Raid Team. Over to the far left, Ambulas was overhearing all of this, his eyes rolling at the concept, but that did give him an idea for later use.

[3 Hours Into The Raid]

"If we ever, see another mirror again, I will smash it with a hammer!" I yelled in frustration, with Yin lying across my back in recovery, whist Nox followed behind us calmly, throwing the mirror fragment away at the sight of the others waiting by two massive, silver doors. But at our approach, I watched the trade screen drop between Rain and....Bombard? Who looked to have thrown something at the last second into the screen. "Hey guys~!"

"You made it, seems we were worried for nothing!" Seraph called over, seeing the crying state of Yin, so she pointed. "Uhh, what happened to her?"

"Too....many....mirrors...." She sighed, before hopping off my back with a lunge, smiling once more with a fierce grin. "All set!"

"YIN!" Yang had thrown me to the floor, latching her hooves around Yin in a tight hug, whist Yin chuckled, hugging her sister back. "I missed you."

"You're fine, just stop worrying about me sometimes, it'll do you some good too." Yin rolled her eyes, prying her sister off. Then, I was lifted off my back by Rain, who smiled happily at me, as I did the same, bumping hooves with her

"Seems you did alright too?" I mused, before Rain moved to her left, allowing me to gaze at....Bombard, he looked just as pleased as me, with everyone watching us carefully. "Oh, you were stuck with him...."

"In my defence, she tried to kill me, but all's forgiven....well, almost." Bombard grumbled, just as Rain's bat wing slapped the back of his head. "Right-Right! Look....I....god this hard to say. I wanted to say....I'm sorry, for everything back at the first raid....and this one, I was rather blunt, angry, and confused....so, look I ain't expecting you to like me, but I just thought you'd like to know!"

I was....well I can't really understand what I was feeling, even Rain sensed this, so she jumped in.

"He does mean it, after seeing his allies die, he just couldn't find a way to place the blame on anyone properly, he is sorry, and I believe him." Rain.....

"All's forgiven." I simply stated, catching everyone off guard by my answer. What? I said I forgave him, so what? Didn't mean I liked him. "Look, you obviously had it rough, we all have, so I can't blame you for being angry, I can be too, just....lets take this boss down....as a team." I held my hoof out to him

"You are strange, I'll give ya that, just don't expect me to let you take all the fame this time?" He grinned, bumping my hoof, as the atmosphere relaxed, then he turned with an embarrassed face. "Alright ladies, you got your show, now lets get this Raid over with!"

"Aww, but we were just getting to the touching part." Seraph teased, but me and Bombard snapped in her direction

"Shut it, rat!"

"Agreed." Laxus confirmed, wow, ever he agreed with us. Standing at the brim of the door with his greatsword between his hooves. We all met up with our squads now, awaiting the final call to press forward with the raid. "Now then, with all of us here this Raid Lair can finally end. We lost some along this journey, so lets all make it back alive, for them, got it?"

"White, we have a problem, could you....come here for a moment?" Hearing Rain's concerned request, I moved to stand just off to the side, then I turned to her worried face, like she had seen a ghost

"What's wrong?" Now I was on edge, she really looked spooked, and her ears were flattened against her head

"Me, and Bombard....we found players....well, what was left of them.....someone, here, had....they..." She couldn't even finish it, and I certainly didn't want to know the end of it, even if the answer was obvious. So I looked around us, making sure no prying eyes were watching, before I grabbed Rain around the back of her head, pulling her into my shoulder softly, holding her gently as she froze suddenly. It wasn't much, but it was the only way I knew to comfort someone

"For now, focus on the Raid Boss, I know it wasn't....well its bad, but if you can push yourself for them, that should do them some justice, even if only a little, alright?" I whispered, pulling back to view her red face, before I rubbed the back of my head. "Now come on, we have a Boss to defeat, and an eye to keep watch on a shady individual."

"R-Right, ok!" Rain perked up, before we turned back to the briefing, but I wasn't really paying much eye to that, my mind built on others things at the moment

"Hey?" My attention soon moved to Yang, seeing her standing beside me with a determined face. "Thank you for keeping my sister safe."

"Well, it would tarnish my reputation to leave anyone behind, consider it a brother doing a favor for another sibling." I suggested kindly, making her blink

"You have a sibling?" She asked me, so I hushed her, seeing Laxus turn to open the door

"I'll tell you about my brother after we win."

"Now then, lets go meet this 'Refraction'." Laxus mused, before the doors chimed open, as the luminescent room consumed us. "CHARGE!"

[Chamber of Regret]

Well....atleast the name is appropriate for a number of reasons. Example, I was here.

All parties entered the room at once, and we saw a massive, open circle room, it was barren, with a tile floor, and mirrors hanging around the walls of the room. With the walls reflecting a multitude of colored lights to brighten the room. Above us was the endless void, I couldn't even see the ceiling. Then I saw the doors shut behind us, locking us in for the remainder of the Raid, with all players scattering across the edge of the arena.

"There it is!" Someone yelled, pointing their weapon to the black ceiling above us, as a massive crystal fell from the void, shattering the tiles in the center of the arena, leaving us to watch the dust clear to reveal a blue and white crystal, and with the silence, we could hear something.....and it was resonating with my chest piece, even its multicolored face was beginning to pulse, the Boss was waking up

*Crack-Crack-Crack-BOOM*

I covered my face quickly, watching past my hoof as the projectiles flung themselves across the room. Then we saw the Boss. A being of crystal, it was humanoid, with blades for legs, large, sharp too. Its torso was thin, but bulky, with large, lance-like blades for arms, and shoulders. Its head was like a diamond, pointy at the top, with a sharp chin, and smooth face, no eyes, no glowing maw, just a blank slate. Then I let out a silent scream, raising its arms to shake the very foundation of the room, even with no sound but the crystals in the darkness above us to shake. In its chest, a red, pulsing aura, which soon enveloped its being with a thin layer of red.

[Internal Refraction - lvl 40]

"Hehehehehahahahaha!" That voice!? All of us now looked above the Boss, seeing the tail swing in the air, whist the black attire nearly made it impossible to see him, but those burning orange eyes could be seen for miles, along with that sharp, inhuman smile. After over a month of silence from the monster that had trapped us in the game, he finally came to us with a smile. "Seems you all finally found the next boss, i'm impressed!"

"Harbinger...." Rain growled to my left, before he looked at us, before snapping his fingers, and in mere moments, a few circles floated in the air. They were purple, growing, and shrinking like camera focuses, whist a large, red 'REC' was placed in the middle of the circle. Then he clapped his hands happily, a sickening grin on his face

"Hope you enjoy this little incursion, I am now broadcasting this Boss not only to the other players still left in the game, but too the outside world through a thing called 'Social Media', yeah Youtube is fucked. Facebook's a bitch. Twitch is fine though. I plan to do this for every fight, I'll make them watch as innocent players are dropped like flies!" Harbinger explained, before he cleared his throat, disappearing with a click of his fingers. "Now, sit back, and relax everyone! Because its time to get this Raid started, to all that join us, welcome to the Castle of Glass Raid Boss!"

"Refraction!!!" At the name, the thin, crystal Boss turned towards the gem bearers with a sharp blade pointed in their direction

"Kill...."
