A Villain's Perspective

Exposition! Exposition!

Darkness...

That was all Thadious could see. The endless void he now called home, prison, and tomb. It served him right in his eyes, for all he'd done. Giving him plenty of time to think about his crimes, the flaws in his life, what brought it all to this...

He had been so busy brooding that he hardly noticed his body being engulfed by a golden aura. Barely getting a chance to yell before his vision changed from an inky black to a blinding white.

Celestia gave a soft smile to the creature that now lay unconscious before her. He was slender and well dressed with black flames in place of skin. His mouth hung open issuing a ghastly red glow. The hair (if you could call it that) on his head cracked like a bonfire that seemed to never extinguish. The war medal on his right breast shinning in the sun.

"And here he is! At your beck and calling", said another being to Celestia's left. This was Dice, the very strange sort who wandered into the castle about one hundred years ago. Asking to see the 'Jolly Queen of Cake', whatever that meant. He too had black skin, but his was actually flesh instead of dark fire. His bright purple bowler and vest made his appearance, almost, colorful by comparison. The spirals in his eyes spinning slowly, grinning from ear to ear. A singal leather glove on his right hand that made many ponies scared to think what or 'who' it was made of.

"He's very impressive, and terrifying, Dice. But are you sure he's our best option? The way you described him Equestria would be defenseless if he decides to go haywire", said Princess Cadence; who was standing to Celestia's right. Her face looking very worried and uncomfortable in the presence the evil looking thing that her auntie just helped summon. She had no particular problem with Dice, but his ethics were a little questionable at times.

"Oh, stop worrying so much Cady! Just what would Shiny think of you being such a downer. He'd probably assume it carries into 'other areas'."

'How does he know about Shinning Armor?!' She thought to herself. 'And what does he mean by-...'

Cadence turned red, and scowled at the creature. Only earning a raspberry and a wink in return. She did not like to be teased in this way. Celestia on the other... hoof? Was having problems keeping in her laughter; the small snickers escaping every so offten. She finally collected heself enough to give Dice a mirthful expression.

"While watching you torment my niece is entertaining. She does have a valid point. Understand that I trust you Dice, but how are you certain he won't attempt to hurt one of my subjects?" Her face was finally calm upon saying the last part, driving her point further.

Dice seemed completely unphased by this, however, and simply smiled snapping his fingers. A pufff of smoke appeared, and after it a large piece of parchment stamped with a black skull. He gently flouted it over to the solar princess for her to read.

"He's bound to his old contract and the new rules I added to it. He can't hurt anypony even if he wanted to, and if you're still skeptical you can change it to your needs." He gave the contract to Celestia and stated,"But, if you ask me, I don't think he'd outright attack."

Celestia rolled up the contract and gave it to Cadence, who gawked at how many names were on the outside alone. These being the name of every living think he killed or ruined. Not a comforting thought for the princess of love.

'Why?' She thought horrified. 'Why would anyone do so many horrible things to so many other ponies?'

Dice looked down at the prone man one more time before taking of his hat. "I'll leave the rest to you Tia", he said with a bow. "And thanks again for listening, I'm sure you can show him something he never thought of before."

His eyes began to spin faster as the ground shook, he put on his hat. with a loud snap and large boom, a glowing blue gateway opened up in the floor. He laghed at how Cadence jumped upon hearing the sound. Hovering over the portal; he listened to the sun goddess a final time.

"Thank you, Dice. Its been a very stressful week and I'm sure Mr. Blakk here can aid my student on the mission that she will be sent on tommorow. You are always welcome here in Equestria, if you ever wish to come for a visit", Celestia statedin a cheery tone, she always did lov the cotton candy chocolate tea he always made.

He let out a boyish squeal and hugged both alicorns violently. Nearly squeezing the life out of them, while also pinning a sign on Cadence's back saying, 'Property of Hazbro'.

"Always willing to help friends in need, and who knows..." He flashed a toothy grin at the pink pony princess. "There may be a few more princes and princesses next time I stop by hehehe!"

The princess of love couldn't hold back another blush as the trickster did a backflip into the worm hole below him, ceiling it behind him. Laugh with all the insanity of a psychopath, and leaving the two ponies in the now silent throne room. Each of them looking at the only other being in the room as he began to stir. His body rolled left and right, and his eyes slowly stared to open. They were met with the sight of a large open hall that looked vaguely like the one back in Arora.

He stood up slowly, bringing himself to his full six foot tall stature. Taking in his surroundings he noticed the large stain glass windows that displayed... ponies? Something was not right and this just proved the point even more.

'Where am I?'

"Greetings."

...

...

His eyes widened and his back straightened as he, calmly as he could, tuned around. He saw to his amazement two large equine staring back at him. Before he could utter a word, the white one spoke.

"Thadious Blakk, I am Princess Celestia. I would like to offically welcome you to Eqestria. We need to talk."

"Hmm... The Elements of armony. I know I've heard of those before... but where?"
