Don't mess with my friend.

never mess with their friend.

It was a warm and sunny day at Canterlot high, the birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, and two girls were carrying a few big boxes that stacked up to the point of going past their heads…. Wait what?

Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you, two young teens, where carrying a few boxes each. This two young lasses where named Sunset Shimmer, and Rarity. This two were part of the well-known group and band, called the Rainbooms! A name picked by the lead guitarist Rainbow Dash, for “obvious” reasons. This group of friends would spend their time hanging out, helping others, and stopping random forces of magic from ether enslaving the earth or just straight up destroying it. You know, typical teenage girl stuff.

“Ooof! Man Rarity you went all out on these outfits,” Sunset struggled to say as she tried to keep her stack of boxes from toppling over her. It still amazed her how her friend could put so much passion and work into something, and it also saddened her on how she used to mock said passion back in her bullying days.

Also struggling as well with her burden the young fashionista grunted as they made it into the school building. “I know what you mean darling but if I’m being honest, I wouldn’t be able to make all of this without your help.”

I’ll just feel you readers in on what these two fine ladies are talking about. You see Rarity noticed that the schools football team, and cheerleader team’s uniforms where both lacking in looks, where outdated, but the school budget could not afford anything new, mostly because said budget was being used to pay for repairs for when some magical bullshit pops up to cause chaos and just be an inconvenience that helps the show avoid having to actually deal with real-life high school drama… thank god we don’t need to deal with another cyberbullying story (cough! Anon-A-Miss cough!).

So Rarity with her generous heart decided to make some new uniforms for the two teams and Sunset feeling guilty for being one of those magical bullshit moments that almost destroyed the school volunteered to help, much to Rarity’s gratitude.

So the two teens went to work for the past two weeks designing and crafting the new uniforms, all made to fit the size of its wearer. It was hard and time to time Sunset thought she was holding Rarity back during the whole project. But the fashionista assured her that she was a great help and she was impressed with how quick Sunset was catching up to speed. While she was nowhere near Rarity’s skill level Sunset was told if she kept practicing, she could be up to Coco’s level in a few months.

But enough of that for now, it was time to see their hard work pay off because while this writer was keeping you busy with all that info, the girls had already given the head cheerleaders their new outfits, and were waiting for their opinion… oh, also they were in the gym.

“Well~? They're gorgeous right?” Rarity asked with barely contained glee. This project had been more enjoyable to work on since she now had one of her friends helping her, and she wanted to see other people enjoy their work.

“Their… nice,” muttered one of the head cheerleaders, we’ll call her Jade Vain. hearing their leader “complement” the new outfits the other two head cheerleaders nodded in agreement like the good lap dogs they were.

“Oooh~! I’m happy to hear that!” Rarity said in a happy tone. “Now Sunset and I just need to give this uniforms to the football team, and then you’ll all look fabulous!”

Saying that the young fashionista and the sun-themed girl picked up the boxes containing the football team’s new uniforms and headed out the door, but not even halfway down the hall, Rarity let out a gasp.

“We forgot to give them the pom-poms!” cried out the fashionista, the two teens setting most of the boxes down minus the one with the pom-poms, and rushed back to the gymnasium. But before they could enter, they both heard the voice of Jade Vain speaking.

“Stupid bitch trying so hard to please everyone with those tacky uniforms. Probably trying to get by from her meager allowance and suck up to anyone. God, I hope she fucks up and shows the world how much an ugly hag she is,” Jade said with her nose turned up in the air so high an aristocrat would say damn.

“*giggle* yeah, maybe she’s hoping to give the jocks their new threads will make them want to touch her,” Jade’s lap dog #1 said with a twisted giggle.

“*heh* I guess that’s how a bimbo like her get a boyfriend,” snarked out lap dog #2, causing the rest to laugh.

Outside the gym room, Sunset and Rarity were stunned by what they were hearing. How could this… this… BITCHES! Say something like that!? Sunset thought back at all those all-nighters to get this project done, all those time Rarity worked herself into exhaustion, and how Sunset tried covering for her when she needed her sleep even if the sun-themed teen was dead tired as well. All the good times they had and the bad times as well where being insulted by these… these!!!

Taking a calming breath, Sunset calmed her mind and rained in her anger. No point in reverting back to the old and violent Sunset and throwing away all her hard work in showing that she’s changed. Besides, Rarity is more than likely taking this way better this she is, being one of the more mature ones in the group, she was probably already brushing this off and-!!!

Whatever thought going through Sunset’s head immediately left as soon as the former bully turned around and saw what kind of state her friend was in… trembling lip, watering eyes that had mascara mixing in with the tears, and nearly healed sobs, the fashionista of the group was NOT ok.

“Rarity?” Sunset said in a soft tone. Trying to cautiously put a hand on the young fashionista’s shoulder. But before she could even take a step forward, Rarity swiftly turned around and bolted down the hall, both letting out sobs, and not even giving the boxes a sparing glance.

From being Sunset as she watched her friend flee in such a sorry state she could hear the laughter of the three head cheerleaders, even louder now that they more than likely heard Rarity’s crying… this caused something inside Sunset to snap!

‘Time for the old Sunset to come out and play…’

With those thoughts Sunset swiftly turned on her heel and marched her way into the gym, opening the doors with enough force to slam the doors against the walls, and cause a loud SLAM!!! This, of course, caught the attention of the three cheerleaders who nearly jumped out of their skin when they heard the near thunder like sound coming from the entrance, and once they saw Sunset Shimmer… not scowling at them or even glaring at them, but instead giving an obviously fake smile… that honestly made them wish she was glaring at them instead.

“Hey, girls~!” Sunset said a sickeningly sweet voice that was so forced, that Darth Sidious would say it was strong in the force… that and something, something, dark side.

“Sunset?” lap dog #1 asked in a hesitant tone. Wondering if maybe she should start running.

“What are you doing back here?” lap dog #2 asked.

“Oh, nothing~! Just forgot to give you something,” Sunset said, still in her forced nice voice until she dropped the act, and gave the three a deadpanned stare. “Until I heard you talking shit about my friend”

Calming her nerve, Jade Vain gave Sunset a haughty look. “And? What are you going to do about She-Demon?”

The three laughed in their typical high school bitch way… until they heard another slam. This time coming from the ground under Sunset’s right foot… where there was now a crack in the freaking floor!

“What? Wanna say that again?! You wanna repeat that?! You fucking Bitches?!” Sunset shouted causing the three to snap out of their dazed state, and focus on Sunset again.

“Huh?! You wanna fucking start something?! C'mon, let's go, one on three, Red versus Blue, no camp kills, I'll fuck you up!” the former unicorn shouted, causing the three to take a step back.

Taking a gulp of air, Jade Vain tried to talk. “Ok j-just calm down Sunset,”

“Shut the fuck up, Jade!!!” Sunset snapped, causing said girl let out a pitiful squeak in Terror. “I’m pumped! I’m ready to fucking go! Let's do this!”

Suddenly Sunset’s pet Gecko popped out of her jacket front pocket and actually fucking growled at them!

“That's right, prison rules. Ray hasn't eaten in days,” Sunset said in a deadly serious tone. Her pet gecko licking its lips and POINTING its claws at Jade Vain. pretty much translated to “I want the one in the middle...” which caused Sunset to lick her lips and say. “Me too.”

Seeing this the three cheerleaders just bolted and fucked right off.

“Yeah, that's right! You better fucking walk away. You CUNTS! Huh! Huh?!” Sunset creamed out before taking a deep breath. “*sigh*... I wonder how much trouble did this got me into?”

~~~~~~(an hour later)~~~~~~
Well, she didn’t need to wait long to find out. Because she was soon caught by Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. she was given two weeks detention for the destruction of school property and bringing a pet into school grounds. Though Celestia was willing to be lenient on the pet thing as long as she could play with Ray, it seemed she had a soft spot for lizards as well.
So here she was. Sitting in the detention room with Vice Principal Luna who was sitting at her desk playing a handheld game.
‘Well this brings back memories…’ the teen thought as she leaned into her seat. She’d had hope that she wouldn’t see the inside of the detention room. Though her moping was cut short when the door was swung open and one of the teachers, Cranky Doodle Donkey or just Mr. Donkey for short, walked in with his usual frown plastered on his face. Giving the young teen only a spearing glance before yanking someone else into the room… RARITY!?
“Got another convect in our mitts,” muttered the old teach as he had Rarity take a seat next to Sunset. He only got a humm from Luna who didn’t bother to look up from her game, this getting an annoyed grumble from Cranky before he left the office in a huff.
Taking a glance at her fashionista of a friends as said teen was busy trying to straighten out her hair, which saw better days. Heck her outfit was also a mess, it even had a few tears in it.
“So… what happened to you?” Sunset asked with a raised brow.
Seeing she wasn’t going to make any progress with her ruined looks, for now, the fashinitoa let out a sigh and gave her sun themed girl a tired look. “Well, darling I have to say the reason for my sorry state is because I… got in a fight with Jade vain and her friends.”
Eyes wide from hearing her friend’s confession Sunset whispered to her friend. “What!? Why? I know what they said about you was bad but getting into a fight with them might ruin your status and affect your sales from the student.”
It was ok if she got in trouble, it would be in character for the former bully anyway.
“Oh please darling, while it’s good business for me if the students from the schools go to my shop, it’s not the end of the world,” Rarity muttered, and then gave Sunset a side glance. “Besides… I didn’t get in a fight because of what they said about me.”
“What?” Sunset asked with a raised brow.
“Yes, darling… I got in a fight with them because I heard them talk badly about, and how they were glad you were sent to detention like an animal,” Muttered Rarity as her fist clenched in anger from the memory. “And trust me, they are off way worse then I am… I think I may have knocked a tooth out of each of them.”
Still confused the sun-themed teen asked. “But why would you get in a fight for me?”
Giving Sunset a smile Rarity answered. “The same reason you got into an argument for my sake, and yes I overheard them talking about that.”
Sunset could only blush in embarrassment, especially with the smirk Rarity was giving her.
“And that reason is that no one messes with the people I care about!” Rarity said with strong conviction her voice, meaning every word she said. This only caused Sunset’s blush to increase but now sporting a smile herself. The two friends giggled, then chuckled, and eventually it morphed into full-blown laughter as the two were just happy after the crappy day they had, they could still laugh.
“SHHHHHH!!!” hushed Luna who was getting distracted from her game.
“Sorry!” the two teens whispered out, before settling down and enjoying each others company.
And so ended another day in Canterlot High. where even mundane task turns into a crazy event.
THE END.
