Rainbow Dash POV
A month later...
"Hey, Soarin. What should we do next?" I asked.
Soarin replied,"Look, that seems nice. Want to give it a shot?"
He pointed in a direction, towards the 'Tunnel of Love'.
"Um, no thanks." I said.
We were at an amusement park together, since it was a Saturday, to celebrate our first month together.
BTW, I was just qualified to take off my crutches yesterday, so I'm going to make up for the past month by having as much fun as possible.
Soarin asked,"Why? It says here in the brochure that it's the most popular ride for couples."
"But they always kiss in there." I commented.
He said,"That's the point! We have been dating for a month already. When can we..."
"But I still feel guilty about Zephyr Breeze. Since we started holding hands in hallways, he always turns away, avoiding us.
Once I dared myself to have eye contact with him, prepared for whatever devastated expression he had on his face, but I saw a surprising sight.
He had an evil grin on his face, like a cold-blooded murderer.
Something's up. So that's why I didn't dare to be in close contact with you when he's in the background." I explained.
Soarin sighed,"Yeah. I kind of heel the same way about Spitfire. She's hiding from me ever since I rejected her."
He told me about him and Spitfire a week after we started dating.
"I love you, Rainbow. I told you countless times." he said.
I said,"I'd love to go that ride with you, but not until our relationship is more...stable. I never told you this, but I want to save my first kiss for the love of my life.
Can we wait until I fell more confident in you?"
"Me too. We could wait a little longer." answered Soarin.
I said,"Then may we go back home? It's 7 pm, and I'd like to call it a day."
"Okay. Let's go." replied Soarin.
As we left the amusement park, I thought that I saw Zephyr Breeze hiding behind a tree, grinning wickedly.
Nothing. It's just my imagination.
