Martha, Skits and the cubs continue searching for the rest of their family and friends. Along with them are Lilly, John, Pops and Carlo. Pops then barks.
“Well I don’t know how much longer, Pops. This place is like a maze, except it has no walls.”, Martha says.
Carlo then barks and the rest turn to him.
“What is it, Carlo?”
He then catches a sent and tracks it down. They follow the scent to a pile of rubble and they dig underneath it. They are surprised to find Martha’s mother buried underneath it. She then opens her eyes and sees her daughter.
“Mom. You’re alive.”
She then nuzzles her mother and her mother barks.
“Of course I’m OK as well. You haven’t seen my brothers and sisters, have you?”
Her mother barks.
“Oh, I see.”, she says before she hears moaning. Her eyes then widen at the moaning.
“Wait. I know those voices!”
They follow the moaning until they find two dogs lying on the ground. It’s Martha’s sisters, Skipper and Trina.
“Six, one, you’re both OK.”, she says.
They both bark and hug their sister.
“Do you know where two, seven, four, eight and five are?”
They shake their heads.
“Alright. Let’s just keep looking.”, she says.
They continue traveling. In the air, Keretomatus and his minions are still watching the dogs.
“Those dogs seem to be progressing in finding their friends and family, but I still fear for their safety.”, he says.
A shadow growls in question.
“I mean, they don't know about the being that possess the same aura as myself. They could be in danger. But how can we help them without revealing ourselves?”
The imp growls.
“We just have to keep our surveillance open. It could mean disaster if we take our eyes off them for even one second.”
A monster approaches the emperor and growls.
“You found more of my army?”
It nods.
“You two, keep watching the dogs, I'll rally them up.”
They both salute and he flies off. The emperor and the rest of his monsters follow the other monster to the location of the other army members.
"You made sure all of them are present and accounted for? That being is near. I can feel it."
As soon as the rest of them leave, the clone emerges from a cloud and searches.
"Drat. I thought for sure it was here.", he says.
He then looks and sees a group of dogs with three little cats being followed by two shadows.
"Why are those shadows following those creatures? Unless, they must know something about that creatures who possesses my aura. Maybe, they'll start talking instead."
He then follows them making sure to stay far from sight.
In another part of the wasteland, the Pies take the parents and baby into a cave.
“We're here.”, Igneous says.
They enter the cave come across the other parents of the ponies and their friends of all races.
“Hello! We're back.”, Cloudy shouts.
They turn to the voice. The elderly couples eyes widen at who they see.
“Mom. Dad. You're both alive.”, Helen's dad says.
“Son. We're glad you're alive.”, Helen's grandpa says.
“We thought we lost you.”, Helen's grandma says.
“Mama. Papa.”, Helen's mom says.
"It's really you.", Carolina's dad says.
“It's so good to see you two.”, Helen's abuelo says.
“Mija, Mijo. Where have you been?”, Helen's abuela says.
“So there really are more of these 'humans' you've all been saying.”, Big Macintosh says.
“Well it's nice to get to know all of you.”, Bow Hothoof says.
“Guys, we've gotten to know a lot about these ponies.”, Milo's dad says. “I have to say their lives seem to be more superior to our lives.”
"Well we wouldn't call ourselves more superior.", Hondo Flanks says.
"But I suppose from your perspective, we seem to be more advanced than all of you.", Cookie Crumbles says.
"Well there's nothing left to do but sit here and wait for more survivors."
Elsewhere, Twilight and Helen are still wandering around.
“Do you know where we are?”, Helen asks.
“I'm not sure.”, Twilight answers. “I've never faced something like this before.”
She suddenly sees something up ahead.
“Wait. What's that?”
She goes off and Helen follows her. They both stop behind two rocks and look ahead. They see a group of strange creatures coming out of a cave. Helen recognizes the creatures.
“Hey. It's those hooligans who captured us.”, Helen says.
“Hooligans?”
“'Hooligans' are people who like to cause trouble to others. And those hooligans captured us and sent us here.”
“Well whoever they are, they're not alone. I sense another life form with them.”
The group is then followed by a familiar unicorn stallion.
“What's he doing with them?!”
“Twilight, you know that guy?”
“Yes. But in the worse possible way. That's Chancellor Neighsay. He's the head of the EEA.”
“The EEA?”
“The Equestrian Education Association. They're in charge of funding for schools to be opened in the kingdom.”
“So why do you recognize him, but not fondly?”
“By 'fondly', do you mean happily or joyful?”
“Yes.”
“He tried to shut down my school of friendship, because he thinks that non-pony students will result in the destruction of the kingdom. But Princess Celestia reinforced the seal of approval which resulted in his ban to be null and void. And yet he still insists that the non-pony students will still bring destruction.”
“Non-ponies destroying your kingdom? That's sounds like complete prejudice.”
“Prejudice?”
“'Prejudice' means to give preconceived opinions that is not based on reason or actual experience. In other words, he judged those non-pony creatures before he got to know them.”
“Well anyway, I still want to know what he's doing with them.”
The stallion approaches the creatures.
“I have to say, Weaslegraft, you certainly have done an amazing job. Without those creatures, there won't be an all creature wedding.”, Neighsay says.
“And actually, maybe you can help us,”, Pablum proposes.
“Help you? With what?”
“You see, there's this monster around here causing havoc and he may be on the verge of destroying this land.”
“A monster? Here?”
“Yes. And we can really use your help with that. Because as you can see, we aren't magical creatures like you.”, Kablooey says.
“I see. That is a problem. Well no need to stand around. Let's find this monster.”
They all head out. Twilight and Helen come out of hiding as soon as they're gone.
“So that's what he's planning.”, Twilight says.
“What do you mean?”, Helen asks.
“My friends, Starlight and Sunburst were planning to get married soon. And we invited my students and their consorts to attend the wedding. He thinks without the creatures to attend, it would be enough to call of the wedding.”
“Wow. He must have been that desperate.”
Twilight then feels something.
“Hang on. I feel figures inside the cave.”
“Why don't we look inside?”
They both walk ahead and enter the cave.
Elsewhere, Spike and the others are following Discord's alicorn tracker. Suddenly the tracker goes haywire.
“It's found her.”, he says.
They look ahead and see that it's not Twilight, but rather, Cadance, Shining and Flurry. The others gasp.
“It's Shining, Cadance and Flurry.”, Spike says.
“Oh, drat. It must've picked up the wrong alicorn. I hope I still have my warranty.”
“Look, they're with the consorts of Twilight's students and some other weird creatures.”, Rarity says.
“Let's surprise them.”, Rainbow says before bolting off.
“RD, wait!”, Applejack shouts.
“That pegasus can be really hasty.”, Trixie says.
The ponies, kids, dragon, changeling, yak, griffon and hippogriff continue traveling when suddenly a pegasus approaches them.
“Guys. You're all OK.”, the peagsus says.
“Rainbow Dash!”, the family say in unison.
“Wait up!”, a familiar voice says.
They turn to it and see the rest of the group.
“Spike, Rarity, Applejack.”, Cadance says.
“Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Sunburst.”, Shining says.
“Starlight, Trixie, Discord.”, Flurry says.
“How did you find us?”
“Discord's alicorn tracker thought it picked up Twilight, but it found you instead.”, Fluttershy says.
“Ponies and draconequus have found us consorts.”, Rutherford says.
“Um, I take it that you all know each other?”, one of the strange creatures asks.
“Yes. But we've never seen you before.”, Pinkie says. “Who are you and what are you?”
“Oh, everyone, we came across them and they're helping us look for the others.”, Cadance says. “This is T.D, Truman, Milo, Carolina, Alice and Ronald. They’re humans.”
“Humans, eh?”, Discord says. “That's very unusual. And I should know.”
“So, who are you all?”, Carolina asks.
“Oh, well. I'm Spike and this is Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Sunburst, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and Discord.”
“Wow, we just encounter more and more creatures like no other.”, Alice says.
“Meh. I've seen better.”, Ronald scoffs.
She turns and glares at her brother.
“What?”
“Well any who, it's great to see that you're all still alive.”, Gruff says.
“Indeed. We just have to find our students as well as your friend.”, Sea Spray says.
“No problem. Let me just adjust this tracker so it finds the right alicorn.”, Discord says as he adjusts the tracker.
Suddenly it picks up an alicorn.
“Aha. It's found her. Come on.”
They follow the draconequus to where the alicorn is.
