It took about a minute more of screaming before John punched the pony in the face, which made it more agitated so he then got a shovel and hit the pony over the head with it, it stopped screaming, and went unconscious. He pulled the pony which was surprisingly heavy given its small size and bizarre appearance, he didn’t know what to do, he thought that he might have killed it while he panicked, so he put the pony in his car and drove to a nearby river. Once he got there, he was going to throw it in to the creek, as he was about to do the deed, he heard the creature make a moaning sound, it was clearly a feminine moan, he paused; not knowing what to do with the poor equine he had hit over the head, he thought that he had killed it, but now that it turned out to be alive he didn't know what to do, he couldn't just kill another living creature just like that, then he began to feel an intense heat coming from behind him and he then smelt the odour of burning cloth. He looked behind himself and screamed as he noticed his clothes on fire, and behind himself was, a purple dragon with wings. He put down the pony and jumped into the creek as the small dragon flew and hovered over him.
As John looked in shock at the dragon above him, the dragon spoke, it sounded like a teenager’s voice and it said to him in a dangerous voice “hand’s, off, Starlight!” and blew a large ball of fire out of his mouth, John scrambled to get to the riverbank and when he did, he saw the dragon pull the pony with him into the air and fly off, but right as they got a few metres away, there was a flash of coloured light and the two creatures both then fell to the ground.
He went over to them, the equine had gotten a black eye and was moaning even more, the dragon was unconscious with a look of pain etched into his face, and as they both woke up John began to run away, towards the car, but before he could get his keys out he saw a light purple aura surrounding him he then felt himself being lifted into the air as he saw the purple pony staring at him with a look of anger and resentment, she then said, almost growling “who are you?”
“the real question is, who and what are you?” John replied defiantly, he may have appeared unfazed, but he was wetting his pants with fear of what would happen to him.
“my name is Starlight Glimmer and I’m a unicorn, and this is Spike and he’s a dragon.” Starlight Glimmer answered John “Now answer my question.”
“My name is John, I’m a human, you probably don’t know what that is,” John told Starlight
“Actually, I do, this is a different Human world from the one we know, but Humans are in different dimensions,” Starlight corrected John.
“What are you gonna do to me now?” asked John.
“we want you to take that machine back to your house with us” Starlight told John.
“you mean the Volvo?” John asked, confused about what she meant.
“Is that what the machine is called?” Starlight then asked John.
“No, it’s called a car but the marque is Volvo” John explained to Starlight.
“Oh, okay then, let’s get into this “car”” she put car in air quotes.
The three of them got into the car, it was a coupe so John attempted to move the seat forward for Spike, but before he could, Spike flew between the seat into the back seat. John didn’t know how quadrupedal Starlight would get into the back seat, but Starlight could sit down in a seat just fine. He then instructed them on how to wear a seatbelt, he told them to grip the belt on the C and D-pillar, Starlight kind of just wrapped it around her hoof, and pull it to the securing point to form a belt shape around their waist and around their shoulders and chests, and to then finally push the metal part into the securing point until it made a click noise. Starlight then asked John, “What was the point of this so called seatbelt?”
“to keep your body strapped into the seat in a crash, so you don’t fly out of your seat and kill yourself,” John then explained.
“That seems farfetched” Starlight said.
“It really isn’t, here, have a look” he got out a phone and showed her a video, in the video, a car propels itself into a barrier and crumples, a human effigy in the car hits its head and shatters the glass, while the belted human effigy stays unharmed.
“Okay then, I’ve changed my mind” Starlight said. John then started the car and drove away.

Stephan had taken a love for Saabs at a young age, he loved the 9-5 his family had had, it was a convertible model, and he had loved riding in it as a kid with the top down, he had read many different car magazines, and was extremely sad when Saab went bankrupt in 2012. After many nights of scouring the internet, he found a good condition, normal Saab 900 turbo, not an SPG/Aero sadly, those would’ve been far too expensive and rare. He took care of it lovingly, he had the oil changed out often, and gave the car a professional paintjob and detailed it often. He had just gotten back from a car meet. He enjoyed telling people about the car, he was going to go to bed, but right before he did he saw something moving near it, he then went down to see what it was, it was early in the morning, so no one was out at the time, Stephan got a torch and went down to the garage to inspect nothing seemed amiss, until he saw a figure in the dark, not knowing what it was he went to see, thinking it was a dog or some other animal, but as he did, the creature flew over him and he saw it in the light, It was a Pegasus with a unicorn’s horn, It was dark purple and had very dark purple hair and tail it then flew away but right as it got several metres away, there was a bright flash of light and it fell to the ground, Stephan had no idea what to do, he wasn’t particularly scared by it, mostly shocked, so he went to it very carefully, and then the creature got up and spoke, “where am I?” it said.
“you’re in the human world,” Stephan told the creature.
“could you please help me?” the creature told Stephan, “and by the way, my name is Twilight sparkle,”
“and my name is Stephan, and sure I’ll help you,” Stephan told Twilight.
