Chapter seven

"Twinkleshine, don't say that you need to run again!" Moondancer asks worried noticing her friend's expression.
"I'm really sorry girls..." Mumbles the unicorn in question. "I have a realy tight schedule right now, I'm really sorry!" Twinkleshine starts to back away from her friends preparing to trot home.
"It's okay, we understand..." Mumbles Lemon Hearts not looking at her ivory friend.
"Bye girls!" And Twinkleshine trots away.
"I hope Twinky won't leave us here like Twilight did..." Mumbles Moondancer worried as she looks towards the trotting unicorn.
"Let's hope so... And if she does that... It's her choice... You can't do much..." Murmurs Minuette under her nose a little angrily.
As her friends continue their way on the streets of Canterlot, Twinkleshine arrives to her home. Scaring Guider again.
"Twinkleshine, I would be happy if you don't do this...." Murmurs angrily while electric blue magic aura surrounds him.
"I don't care." She levitates the blue book to her and touches it's blank page with her horn. "Kuldj at"
As they arrive the unicorn manages to levitate herself and the book down to safety landing.
This time it is a not so tall spruce forest that doesn't let much light trough it's greenery. There are sixteen paths there.
"Wow... This pony is sure a dreamer...." Murmus Guider. "Prepare for impossible dreams!" Warns the pony about the danger. In these situations the impossible dream is the most likely.
"Okay..." Mumbles the pony and starts going on the first one. As she goes on the little dirt path it splits into two.
"Wow... I did not expect a big dreamer like this pony could be..." Murmurs Guider."Which one do you want to choose?" Twinkleshine pauses a little and she takes the second path.
"By the way, is that possible to be in your own dream?" Twinkleshine asks curiously, looking at the book.
"No, it is impossible. You can't choose it or accidentally get there." Answers Guider after a little pause.
"You pause sooo much... That is confusing, do you know that?" The unicorn sighs.
"Sorry..." Murmurs the book under his non-existing nose.
The ivory unicorn arrives to a swamp with her book friend. It's a typical fairytale-like swamp. Green fog is everywhere, it's really smelly, the trees are small, greenish blue.
As our favorite ivory unicorn looks around she notices some strange creatures in the swamp's water. She isn't sure what are they because she can't really tell if they are living creatures or not, but she think they are crocodiles, but she is wrong. They are hippos. Pony eating hippos.
"This is just the best..." Murmurs under her nose and she looks around for possibilities. "Can you see what are those in there?" Asks from the book while she keeps looking around.
"Not really, sorry..." Murmurs the book. "Not like I have eyes to see with...." He would roll his eyes if he could.
"You are a living book, I'm sure you can see with magic...." Rolls Twinkleshine her electric blue eyes. She notices something shining in the water. In the middle of the creatures whose floating in the swamp's water. "Can I turn back...?" asks the pink maned pony as she glances backwards.
"You will lose a day with that..." Says the book. "And you want to meet your friends, don't you?"
"Okay..." The pony lets out a deep sigh. After a little staring at the unknown creatures she goes closer to the swamp's dirty water.
Twinkleshine uses the platform making spell and she steps on the first one. As she walks on those platforms she sees that those are hippos, not crocodiles, so she realizes that her situation is worse than she tought is.
She looks into the water and she sees something mowing fastly towards her. As she looks at the hippos they start to notice the ivory pony on the top of the swamp water. They don't come at her yet, but she can see the intention on them.
The glowing thing starts moving as she steps on another platform. Twinkleshine blocks down for a moment because she realizes that the glowing stuff she needs to find isn't hidden because it is a fish. She lets out an annoyed growl and walks towards the glowing fish on the top of her platforms. The hippos start their attack and and Twinkleshine needs to run on her magic, but she isn't sure how should she time the appearing and disappearing water-walking platforms. Few times her back or front hooves sink in the water slightly and in those time something bites her. Cute little friendly piranhas. If she has to catch one she might won't have that big problem, but the fish fastly swims away every time the bpony gets close to it, unfortunately for her.
A hippo gets her back left hoof nearly making a hole into it, but before it's fang could actually break trough her bones Twinkleshine manages to teleport away from it, and with a huge luck she lands really near to the glowing fish. She reaches out while five more piranhas bite into her skin and touches the glowing creature's sticky skin.
The bites stop. Everything stops and the pony comes back to the swamp water's surface and tries to breath. Without realizing what is happening the ivory unicorn arrives back to her home.
She is soaked and the bites really hurt, the pain what the hippo caused on her leg is incredible. She tries to care about the wounds, but it still really bad.
"Are you happy with this...?" Asks the blue book with a caring tone. "Do you still think this worth the effort to do?" He really doesn't want anypony to get hurt in these dreams, but he knows somepony has to do it or dreams might won't come true.
"As long as..." Twinkleshine bites into her tongue to suppress curse words because of the pain. "I help ponies with this... It's worth it." She barely can stand up from the floor and walks to her bed. Limping pretty badly.
"But this... Isn't the perfect job for ponies like you... Who have friends whose care about her..." The book says watching how hardly the pony is moving with his invisible eyes.
"They would understand..." Twinkleshine mumbles as she gets into her bed. "Good night, Guider" She says while trying to fall asleep, every little movement hurts her, so that isn't the easiest task.
