Back in the Crystal Empire, all the citizens prepare the kingdom for Starlight and Sunburst's wedding. Pharynx approaches his brother.
“Hey, Thorax, I've never been to an actual Crystal Empire wedding. How is it exactly?”, he asks.
“It's a beautiful experience, Pharynx. It's a perfect way for all of these ponies to show all of the love they can give in this particular gathering.”, his brother answers.
“Gosh, if we were still feeding off of their love, this place would have been sucked dry.”
Thorax nods. The sun then starts to set.
“Oh. It's getting late everypony. We better go to bed now.”, Celestia says.
“We better get going.”, Twilight says. “Goodbye, Starlight. Goodbye, Sunburst.”
“Goodbye, Twilight.”, Starlight says. “We'll see you at the wedding.”
They all leave the castle and part ways.
“Sunburst, I just realized something.”, Starlight says.
“What is it?”, Sunburst asks.
“After we get married, will I have to move out of Ponyville?”
His eyes widen as it is a very good point.
“Oh. I see.”, he says. “Well, we should consult the others first to know what the best choice is.”
“What am I gonna tell Twilight?”, she asks.
“We'll have to break it to her gently if we make our decision. She has a tendency to be overwhelmed a lot.”, he says.
The unicorn nods and they both leave the castle.
In Neighsay's tower, he paces in his room wondering how to stop the wedding.
“How can I get the Equestrian High Counsel to agree to cease and desist that wedding if the princesses have already justified the EEA's rules about allowing non-pony students to attend that school?”
He then has a thought.
“Wait a minute. If I could try to convince the future bride and groom why it's a bad idea to invite non-pony creatures to attend their wedding, they'd be able to call it off and return to how it was before. But where do I go from here?”
He turns his head and sees a burned picture of the consorts of the students. He then has another thought and takes out his spell book. He flips through pages until he finds the one he's looking for. He then gets a sinister grin.
"I know exactly how to do it."
The Wagstaff City Zoo closes the doors and the zookeepers lock the gate and leave. After they leave, Martha and Skits sneak to the gate and slip through the bars.
“Alright, Skits. We need to be very quiet and be careful with security.”, Martha whispers.
Skits nods. They both walk slowly and carefully passing the security office. They hear something and both take a peak. Inside are the guards watching a movie. They become exasperated at the sight. Skits then barks to her.
“I don't know if their serious either.”, Martha says. “Let's just get going.”
They walk until they reach the lions den.
“Psst. Leonard, Phillip, Molly.”, she quietly shouts.
The cubs exit the cave and see the dogs. They approach them and Leonard meows.
“We're getting you out of here.”, Martha answers.
They cubs meow confused.
“Jeffy told me that all of the animals can leave this zoo whenever they want. We can be able to take you three back to your home.”
Phillip meows.
“We're doing this, because we don't want to wait fourteen years to release all of you back to your home.”, she whispers.
Skits barks.
“Oh. I didn't think about how we're were going to take them back.”
She then gets an idea.
"Wait a minute. The docks!"
He raises an eyebrow.
"You remember that food drive we did for the starving people in where the cubs came from?"
He barks in agreement.
"We can sneak the cubs into the boat that's taking all that food. That way they can sneak out and be free."
Skits barks at Martha's plan.
"I know stowaways are illegal, but there's no other way to get them back home. Skits can you just trust me on this?"
He then sighs and takes the plan. They both back up.
“Come on, cubs. Jump over the barrier.”
Molly meows to her brothers. They all nod and run forward until they jump over the barrier.
“Come on, let's go.”, Martha says.
They all run out of the zoo and slip through the bars. The lemur walk on the tree for a midnight snack and take a look at the den, seeing that the cubs are gone. The lemur starts screeching. The screeching then wakes up all of the animals in the zoo and see that the cubs are gone. The security guards are startled by all the animal noises and look at the cameras. They look and see that the lion cubs are gone.
“The cubs are gone! Quick, call the news station!”, a guard says.
Another guard goes to the phone and dials the number.
The dogs run away with the cubs to the city pier. They reach a boat that is already packed up.
“Alright, guys. Let's get you all in the boat.”, Martha says.
Before they get on the boat, two dragon claws catch the dogs. They both scream in fear and are brought to the source of the claws. It is a monster with minotaur horns, dragon claws, a lion's tail, hooves, dragon wings, red eyes, sharp fangs and covered in pitch black fur.
“Are these the dogs?”, the monster asks.
“That's them alright.”, a familiar voice says.
They turn to the voice and see six men, an old woman and a rottweiler.
“Hello again, talking dog.”, a man wearing a white lab coat says.
“What are you guys doing here? And how did you all get together?”, Martha asks.
“That doesn't matter." ,the green suited man says. "What does matter is this time we're having our new friend help us become the more successful people and most successful dog in all of Wagstaff City.”
“What? You mean this monster is taking orders from you?”
“That is true young dog.”, the monster says. “You will soon bow to my saviors.”
“Saviors?”, Martha asks. “Aren't 'saviors' people who have done good deeds to help everyone?”
“That is right on the nose.”, Pablum says. “And we're going to use-uh...I mean assist Emperor Keretomatus to enslave you evildoers.”
The dogs eyes widen. The lion cubs enter and growl at the goons. Weaselegraft and Pablum scream in fear.
“What's the matter with you two?”, Kablooey asks.
“Baby lions. Nothing frightens us more than babies.”, Weaselegraft says.
“You two are scared of babies?”, Bumblecrum asks. “You guys are wimps.”
“Well these little miscreants won't be any bother anymore.”, the monster says then snaps his claws.
The cubs are levitated and disappear.
“Leonard! Phillip! Molly!”, Martha shouts.
The cubs then reappear in a cage.
“Take a good look dogs. We're about to turn this town into paradise.”, Gimmie says. "And it starts with you."
The monster approaches them as Martha and Skits watch helplessly as their fates are sealed.
In Keretomatus's kingdom, the emperor rallies his army and prepares to announce his plan.
“Citizens of my kingdom. I have gathered all of you here to prepare for battle.”, the emperor says. “As you all know, I have sensed a powerful aura that is completely identical to my aura.”
All of the minions and shadows all growl at once at the revelation.
“We all have to brace ourselves for the danger that will occur. So all of you head to the armory and meet back here in two hours. The rest will be instructed.”
The minions, shadows and monsters head to the armory and the emperor gathers his own armor. He then feels a presence near the aura.
“Wait a minute. I sense aura near the being that has my aura.”
He closes his eyes and opens his eyes.
“It's those creatures who tried to use my power. What do they have do with the aura that's in the other world?”
