As school gets out, the girls walk to the portal. Sunset puts her hand on it, she misses her teacher. They haven't seen Twilight for a few years. The Princess of Friendship has been busy in Equestria. Something comes out of the portal and ends up in sunset's hands.
The other girls gather around to see a little kid who has spiky black hair with purple-red tips and gold bangs. They also notice a gold pyramid around his neck. (Look at cover) A few days later the little kid wakes up. A girl with pink hair and blue eyes asks "Who are you? Why did you come out of the portal? Are you from Equestria?"
Then they hear a voice say "simmer down sally"
They look to see a girl with blonde hair and green eyes. She asks "what's your name?"
The little kid says "Yugi, Yugi Muto."
Another girl, this one had red and yellow hair and green eyes asks "Why does your hair look like that?"
Yugi answers with "Because that's how i was born."
The pink girl asks "did you drop these?
Then the group hears a raspy voice say "Pinkie, why are you giving him a deck, you don't even know him." Then Yugi thinks about his choice of words and he begins with "you see..."
Then the pink girl takes over with "you're from another world, you had ancient magic, you're the 'King of Games', and you're also the vessel of an ancient Pharaoh, who saved the world long ago."
The 6 of them were shocked. Then Yugi asks "How did you know all of that???"
The pink girl replies with "just a hunch..."
