“ Ladies and Gentlemen hope your ready for a true battle in the sky because wheeling in for the second leg of Team Silverwing is none other than the rebel Lightning Dust,” The Mc shouted as Lightning almost broke her accelerator trying to keep up with the military grade jet boosters Team Navy Steel had on their runners.
Lightning sped up and barely made it past Gale and her military grade Runner. After Lightning past Gale she drew her opening hand and the duel picked up.

“ My turn I draw,” Lightning said as she drew her sixth card. Lightning was intimidated by Dracossack after remembering how her grandfather dominated his opponents with it back in the day but still maintained her focus and made her move.
“ First since I have no monsters on my field I can Special Summon Blackwing-Gofu the Vague Shadow in attack mode. A brown bird that was tied up with two chains began to ride down onto the field on a tornado and unleashed a light screech.

“ But that's not the end of it because now I activate the Spell Blackwing Illusion,” Lightning said as a spell with an image of Gale the Whirlwind covered in black energy in the shape of a much bigger bird appeared. By sending a Blackwing or Assault Blackwing Synchro Monster from my Extra Deck to my GY I target one non tuner Blackwing Monster I control and that Monster gains the name and Effects of that Synchro Monster until my next Stand-By Phase so I send Blackwing Armor Master to my GY and transfer its powers and name to Bora the Spear. Bora was then covered in a veil of black energy and was then turned into a shadow version of Armor Master.
“ Now I can Activate Gofu’s Effect by banishing it along with one or more non-tuners I control not only can I target and Special summon a Blackwing Synchro Monster from my GY but that monster is also treated as a Tuner so I Banish Gofu along with my tokens to bring back the original Armor Master. All three monsters turned into three black tornados that crashed into each other and out of them came a birdman wearing black armor with orange trim along with wings of the same colors with blue gems embedded in them and then landed elegantly and raised its fist up ready to fight.

“ Now that my field is ready time to Battle my first Armor Master will attack Dracossack. The shadow version of Armor Master charged forward and spun around creating a black tornado around it.
“ You do realize My Dracossack is stronger than either of your monsters,” Gale pointed out only for Lightning to interrupt.
“ My Armor Master has two great effects first it can't be destroyed in battle and I take no damage but here is the best part any monster it battles is tagged with a wedge counter but I will get to that soon. The shadow punched Dracossack in the head and left a black metal quill jabbed into its head.

“ Now on to the subject of what a Wedge counter does by removing it from the monster, it is tagged to that monster’s attack and defense points are reduced to zero until the end of the turn. The wedge was removed from Dracossack and it started cracking all over.

“ Now the real Armor Master will attack Dracossack with Black Tornado Strike. The real Armor Master repeated the same motion as its shadow like Dubbel ganger. Gale was about to check her hand until she spotted a clutch Action Card and grabbed it then wasted no time activating it.
“ I'm not going down that easy because I Activate the Action Spell Miracle so not only does Dracossack live but the damage is halved. Gale thought she was safe until Lightning pulled a card from her hand.
“ I may not be able to destroy your monster but I can increase the damage so by discarding Kalut the Moon Shadow from my hand Armor Master gains 1400 attack points. An afterimage of Kalut appeared behind Armor Master and poured it power into it.

Armor Master charged harder and send Dracossack crashing into the wall of the Stadium while Gale felt the damage from the battle.

“ Now I enter Main Phase Two so I Normal Summon Blackwing - Jin the Rain Shadow. A blue birdman wearing a green hakama drew his sword and slashed the air around him.

Jin flew into the air and slashed the air around him before turning into a single star that then changed into a single green ring that encircled the shadow version of Armor Master and turned it into four stars that fell into alignment and flashed.

A black raven-like bird women wearing a purple kimono with a black katana on her side drew her sword ready to fight and unleashed a light feminine screech.

“ Why are you Synchro Summoning now the battle is over,” Gale asked Lightning feeling she would soon regret asking.
“ Simple so I can use Blake’s effect when She is Synchro Summoned I can target one set spell or trap on your field and lock that card down for as many turns as the number of Winged-Beast type monster currently in my GY so since I have three Winged Beasts in my GY your set card can,t be activated until your third end phase. Blake threw a dark blue feather like kunai at Gale’s only set card and covered it with electricity indicating it can,t be used.
“ But that's just her upon summoning effect her real effect deals 600 points of damage to you for each Blackwing monster I control so since I have two you take 1200 points of damage lets see you try and beat that. Blake pulled her katana back and swung it creating a black wave of energy and sending it towards Gale. Gale noticed a clutch Action card on top of a half pipe and drove for it. Gale flipped into the air and grabbed it just in the nick of time and activating it.
“ I’m not going down like that because I activate the Action Spell Recovery this action card increases my life points by 1000 so it looks like I live to see my next turn,” Gale was covered in a green aura as her life points went up slightly.

“ Looks like my Grandfather was telling the truth when he said his platoon was the best so for now I set my one card Face-Down and end my turn and during the end phase your Dracossack gets all of its Attack Points back.

“ My turn I draw,” Gale said as she drew her fifth card. With Gale’s only set card on lockdown, she did not have the option to finish this with one attack so she had to deal with Lightning Synchros with her own cards.
“ First I Use Dracossack’s effect by detaching an overlay unit he creates two Mecha Phantom Beast tokens to protect itself. Dracossack ate it last overlay unit and the jet on its back generated two more tokens.

“ Next I Activate the Continuous Spell Machine Revolution,” Gale said as a spell with an image of a radio tower sending signals to an army of robots appeared on Gale’s field and then caused that same tower to sprout in the center of the stadium. This spell gives all of my Machine-Type monsters an extra 600 attack points for each machine type monster on the field so since I currently have three my monsters each gain 1800 attack points. Dracossack along with its tokens unleashed a screech as they gained more power.

“ But that's not the end of it next I activate another spell behold Limiter Removal now the attack points of all my Machine Monster are doubled. All three of Gale’s monsters began to drop what looked like a speedometer as their attack points skyrocketed.

“ 8800 attack points you must really want to end this that badly,” Lightning pointed out knowing this may be her end.
“ Indeed I do now I enter my Battle Phase and start by having my first token attack blake the Dark Shadow. Gale’s first token began to fire small flames at Blake only for Lightning to counter that move.
“ Not so fast Gale I activate the Trap Urgent Tuning and I'm sure you know what this does this card allows me to Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase,” Lightning said as the flames were stopped.
“ But you don't have any Tuner Monsters out how do you plan to Synchro Summon without one?” Gale asked until she remembered Lightning’s first turn.
“ That's right when Armor Master was brought back by Gofu’s effect he was treated as a Tuner Monster so now I tune my level seven Armor Master with my level five Dark Shadow to Synchro Summon a monster that will end this part of the match. Armor Master flew into the air and transformed into seven stars that then turned into seven green rings that encircled Blake and turned her into five stars that fell into alignment and flashed brightly.

“ Darkness rises as the blades of destruction slash through the light and splash my opponent in red! Synchro Summon! Slash them! Assault Blackwing - Akane the Falling Snow! A bird women in a red kimono with yellow feather patterns wielding a pair of twin swords with curved blades flew down and landed elegantly while brandishing one of her swords at gale.

“ Very powerful monster so I will call off My token’s attack and instead attack with Dracossack. Dracossack unleashed its wind and combined it with its flamethrower and sent a super-powered flaming tornado at Akane but Lightning did not look phased by it.
“ You won't beat me that easily because since I summoned Akane with only Synchro Monsters she gains half of your monsters attack points during the damage step. Akane began to power up as Dracossack’s flaming tornado came closer.

Akane slashed through the tornado and send a red shockwave flying towards Dracossack. Gale was about to lose until the wind from Akane's slash send a nearby Action Card flying towards her and she grabbed it. Gale wasted no time in activating it.
“ I may be going down but not before I finally make a dent in your Life Points so I Activate the Action Spell Phoenix Arrow you remember this card inflicts 1500 points of damage to you but that's not all I'm doing I also discard my Damage Amplifier to double that damage. The flaming Arrow took flight and took the shape of a phoenix then afterwards of gold rocket like robot entered the center of the flames and boosted the speed of the arrow and caused it to nail Lightning Faster as Akane’s attack nailed Dracossack and finished Gale off and caused her runner to emit smoke.

“ Well done Lightning you manage to survive my final assault and as you may have already known during the End Phase Limiter Removal destroys all of my Machine-Type Monsters but my Dracossack survives thanks to its tokens so only my tokens are gone also the attack boost ends so Dracossack’s attack points return to 3200.

Both of Gale’s token self-destructed and covered most of Gale’s side of the field in smoke as she drove back to her team’s pit. As Gale pulled up next to her commanding officer she handed him her Dracossack and her spell card along with Jet’s final set card and her team's baton.
“ I must admit sir Commander Bullet’s son choose two fine teammates and I'm excited to see what he can do,” Gale said as she dismounted her runner.
“ Thanks to the cards you and jet left me we should be in a good position to find out once I draw him into this duel,” The Lieutenant said as he prepared to take off. Lieutenant Ironthorn hit the gas on his runner and took off like a rocket and reached Lightning in record time.
“ And now ladies and gentlemen taking the final leg for Team Navy Steel is Lieutenant Vert Ironthorn,” the mc shouted as the crowd cheered loudly. Vert caught up with Lightning and drew his opening hand.

“ My turn I draw,” Vert said as he drew his sixth card. With Akane still flying above and his team’s ace in the hole still on lockdown Vert felt like he needed a miracle to get out of this and noticed he drew exactly what he needed.
“ To start things off I activate the Spell Overlay Regen by targeting a face-up Xyz Monster on the field this card becomes an overlay unit for that monster so Dracossack gets one Overlay Unit. Vert’s spell turned green and flew towards Dracossack and turned into a green overlay unit that started orbiting around it.

“ Now that our monster is rearmed I activate the Spell Flying V formation as you may have remembered while I control a Mecha Phantom Beast Monster I can Special Summon three Mecha Phantom Beast tokens to my field. Vert’s spell launched three drones than then projected three mini holograms of Dracossack and all four of vert’s monsters formed an almost perfect flying V.

“ And thanks to Machine Revolution all of my monsters gain 600 attack points for each Machine monster currently in play so with four monsters that a total of 2400 attack points. All of Vert’s monsters began to do loops as their attack went up.

“ But I'm not done yet next I Summon Mecha Phantom Beast Turtletracer in attack mode. A silver aircraft shaped like a turtle began to descend and took its position on the left end of the formation thus completing the Flying V.

“ With a new Machine monster now on the field, my army gains 600 more attack points. All of Vert’s monster’s performed barrel rolls while their attack went up further.

“ Now Turtletracer’s effect goes off its level is increased by the total amount of my tokens so since each of them is level three Turtletracer is now level twelve. Turtletracer began to shift gears as its level reached its maximum height.

“ Next I'm giving my Turtletracer some more firepower with the Equip Spell Level Drone Strike this spell gives the equipped monster 400 attack points times that monster’s level and since Turtletracer is level twelve now he gains 4800 attack points. Some kind of guidance system appeared on top of the shell of Turtletracer and it unleashed a bunch of blasters that remained to levitate around it.

“ 8300 attack points you navy guys never hold anything back,” Lightning said.
“ Well as members of the US Navy we always fight with everything we got to defend our seas and skies even if it means our end,” Vert said.
“ Anyway time to battle Turtletracer attack Akane the Falling Snow and end this match. Turtletracer began to charge forward while it’s blasters spun around him and fired a beam made of green energy. Lightning spotted a clutch Action Card floating across the gap of the ramp ahead and accelerated while engaging her wings then nabbed the Action Card in time to save herself.
“ I activate the Action Spell Evasion so Akane dodges your attack. Akane performed an elegant spin as she moved out of the way of the beam in time as Lightning landed back on the track.
“ You may have dodged one strike but I still have our ultimate weapon on deck so now Dracossack attack Akane. Dracossack spun its turbines and generated a tornado and mixed in the fire from its flamethrower. As Dracossack’s attack drew near two Action Cards were spotted up ahead. Both Lightning and Vert charged ahead and they each grabbed one then activated them.
“ I activate the Action Spell Evasion again looks like I dodge another one,” Lightning said before Vert countered her claim.
“ Guess again Lightning I activate the Action Spell No Action so it looks like my attack goes through. The flaming tornado engulfed Akane and incinerated her as she screamed in pain.

“ Now that I finally took down your boss monster I will have one of my tokens swoop in to finish you off. One of the Mecha Phantom Beast tokens began to fire shots at Lightning until she pulled up her GY.
“ I'm not out yet when you declare a direct attack on me I can banish one of my Blackwing Monsters from my GY to Special Summon Blake from my GY in Defense Mode then your attack is drawn to her. Lightning banishes Kalut from her GY and out of the portal came Blake taking up a defensive stance.

The tokens attack was redirected to Blake who used her katana to block the bullets. Vert was about to end his turn until he noticed another Action Card up ahead. Lightning noticed it to and tried to make a grab for it but was not fast enough so Vert grabbed it in the end and wasted no time activating it.
“ I'm not done yet next I will have my second token attack Blake and during the damage step, I chain the Action Spell Charge Recklessly this give my token another 600 attack points. The token picked up the pace of its fire as its attack went up more.
3000 + 600 = 3600
Blake tried to dodge the bullets but in the end, she was blasted to the points of exploding. Lightning was not too pleased to see Blake fall.
“ Since I used Blake’s effect to summon her she is banished when she leaves the field,” Lightning said as her last line of defense left the field.
“ Lightning you put up a good fight you even delayed our ace in the hole but I'm afraid this is the end my final token will attack you directly. Vert’s last monster attack Lightning directly and Lightning knew she had nothing left to fight back with so she took the hit and her runner emitted smoke.

“ That was a good match Lightning and I eagerly await your leader and what he can do,” Vert said as he passed the pits. The seal on Team Navy Steels set card began to weaken some more.

Lightning pulled up next to Silver who was getting ready for the final leg of the match.
“ Looks like we are in for one doozy of a match any ideas on how to win this?” Lightning asked Silver as she passed the baton to him.
“ Against monsters like these not brute force that's for sure but I know my deck will respond to me,” Silver replied and then took off.
Meanwhile back inside the Silver Mansion everyone watching the match cheered as Silver took off. Bullet and Wind Rider were mighty impressed with how their former cadets managed to generate so much strength from a deck whose only purpose was to create tokens.
“ Looks like silver is in for one heck of a battle he made need some new tricks for this one since not even his deck’s headliner could reach that high,” Bullet pointed out.
“ True but we all know our son he is very calculative so I know he has a plan,” Ruby said.
