"BAHAHAHEHAHA," said Rainbow Dash as she rolled around on the sidewalk still laughing at the business man's reaction to seeing Sunset, "HAHA TALKING DEMON HORSE SERIOUSLY BAHAHAHA."

Sunset on the other hand, or hoof in her case, was feeling annoyed at the man for reacting how he did, at Rainbow for being insensitive right now, and finally at herself for not realizing that something like this might happen. "OK well that stunk.... I never thought about how the people outside of our school would react," said Sunset as she looked concerned. 

"Well neither did any of us," said Rainbow Dash as she picked herself up from her laughing fit, "I mean seriously the people in this town are weird. I use my super speed in front of them and Twilight uses her telekinesis all the time in front of people and they don't react AT ALL! But something about talking animals whether it's you or Spike seems to really make them freak out." 

"Yeah I guess so.... maybe I should turn human again... at least for the walk to school," said Sunset.

"WHAT! NO WAY! I am not missing out on any more of those hilarious reactions," said Rainbow Dash.

Sunset became even more annoyed at that statement before turning away from Rainbow Dash as she closed her eyes and had an angry look cross her face as she said, "I am not doing this for your entertainment Dash! I am doing this because I feel better about being a pony then I do about being a human!" She then opened her eyes only to see that there was now a mother and her child standing in front of her who both had shocked looks on there faces. Not wanting a repeat of what happened with the business man to happen with these people Sunset put on her most friendly and happy face, raised her front hoof in the air to wave, and said, "Hi there!"

Unfortunetly the mother and her child also freaked out and ran away screaming in unison, "AHHHHHH WEIRD HORNED TALKING DOG THING AHHH"

Rainbow Dash once again fell on the ground laughing saying, "HAHAHA SEIOUSLY? HORNED DOG THING? HAHAHAHAHA!"

Sunset Shimmer started to look discouraged as she turned her eyes to ground and had tears form in the corners of them. With pain in her heart she said, "Maybe I should just give up on this whole pony thing.... I wouldn't want to freak anyone else out like this." What Sunset didn't notice though was that Rainbow Dash had now stopped laughing and was looking at her friend concerned. Sunset let a tear fall to the ground as she began saying, "I want to be a," before she said the next part though Rainbow Dash used her super speed to run up to Sunset and scoop her up in her arms, "Rainbow? What are you?"

"Look Sunset I am not letting you turn your back on this. You said you wanted to be a pony today and I am not going to let you change your mind. You wanted me to encourage you when things got tough and I'm sorry I got so caught up in those peoples' reactions and forgot about that...but I'm here to support you now!" said Rainbow Dash as she got a better grip on Sunset and braced herself on the ground.

Sunset Shimmer smiled at her friends kind words before a confused look crossed her face as she said, "Well I am glad your here to help me Rainbow but.... why exactly are you holding me like this because if this is some kind of weird hug to try and cheer me up I'm flattered but I."

Before she could finish though Rainbow Dash said, "This isn't a hug. Look we need to get you to school and I need to make sure no one else sees you and has any weird reactions that shake your confidence so I am going to make sure no one sees you... now hold on tight!"

Before Sunset could respond Rainbow took off with her super speed towards the school. Sunset watched as all the buildings around them turned into a colorful blur as wind began stinging her face. She began to wonder how it is that Rainbow Dash was able to take running like this all the time when she suddenly stopped and Sunset realized they were now standing in front of the Wondercolts statue. "What the how?" said Sunset shocked at the sudden change of location even though she did understand how it happened.

"Looks like my super speed was useful for something besides getting to your place before school. Now come on let's head inside," said Rainbow with a cocky smile on her face.

Sunset then snapped out of her confusion before saying, "Yeah sure... Oh and Rainbow," she said looking at her friend thoughtfully, "Thanks for not letting me give up."

Rainbow simply had a cool but sincere smile cross her face as she said, "No problem that's what friends do now let's go inside."

"Yeah. I just hope everyone at school reacts better then those guys on the street did," said Sunset

Rainbow bent down and put her hand on Sunset's shoulder before saying, "They will." They then continued there walk into the school and as they passed by several students they saw that thanks to there experience with magic they did react better as most of them casually glanced at Sunset, had a brief moment of confusion cross there face before a moment of realization and then acceptance come to them, before they continued walking along.

"See Sunset I told you it wouldn't be so bad," said Rainbow Dash.

Sunset now beaming with a new sense of confidence at seeing theses peoples' reactions, or lack thereof, said, "You were right. After what we went through it feels so good to be accept- OWW," Sunset said as in her excitement she wasn't really looking forward and she bumped into someones leg. She then looked up to see who it was saying sorry as she saw that it was a very familiar face.

"It's cool..... Sunset is that you?" said Flash Sentry as he became confused at seeing this pony with the voice and general look of his former girlfriend and current good friend.

"Umm yeah... It's kind of a long story but basically I missed being a pony like back in Equestria and now I have a way to be a pony here," said Sunset as she had a somewhat embarrassed look cross her face as she was scared to see what Flash's reaction would be.

"Ohh that's cool," said Flash as he had a blush cross his face and looked around awkwardly, "I'm glad you found a way to be happy."

Sunset became concerned as she saw how uncomfortable he looked and said, "You know Flash I understand this is a big adjustment and if you feel uncomfortable around me you shouldn't be scared to say so."

Flash looked at her and said defensively as he waved his hands in front of himself, "Ohhh No No No! It's nothing like that."

"Then what is it," said Sunset as she tilted her head in confusion.

"Well it's just... I know you and Princess Twilight said how your both really magical ponies back home and I didn't think much about it...but now that I am actaully seeing that a girl I used to date really looks like this and realizing that a girl I wanted to date also looks like this right now.... I am now rethinking every life decision I have ever made," said Flash with with an introspective look on his face. 

"Ohhh is that all," said Sunset as a relieved look came to her face.

"Well yeah. Wait that's not a big deal to you?" said Flash confused that his statement hadn't upset her even somewhat. 

"Not really. I mean now you know how I felt when we first started dating.... no offense it's just when I was a little filly in Canterlot imagining the guy of my dreams he wasn't exactly some kind of weird hairless ape," said Sunset gesturing at Flash.

"Ouch. Well that's a pretty fair point," said Flash he scratched the back of his head with a nervous smile on his face, "Well anyway I'll catch you later Sunset." He then started walking down the hall way and turned a corner away. 

"Well that wasn't so bad... I mean he was kind of awkward around me but at least it wasn't really my fault," said Sunset.

"Pffth. Just give him a few days and I bet he might try and get back together with you just like he did at Camp Everfree," said Rainbow with a sly smile on her face.

Before Sunset could respond to that though Flash then poked his head back from around the corner and said, "Ohh and by the way Sunset... you do actually look kind of cute like that," he said with a slight blush and smile on his face, "well gotta go again see yeah."

Sunset also had a blush and a slight smile come to her face as she said, "More like a few seconds." Rainbow was now rolling on the floor laughing once again as Sunset was recomposing herself and getting ready to face the day with a new bit of confidence.
