Genevieve slithered over to a well lit room where she could see weapons that could destroy mankind and those heroes, she knew they would attempt to separate the nightmare essence and Rarity (Radiance). The weapons ranged from high powered rifles to swords that can also shoot energy blasts for long range or for anyone planning to fly above the castle.
These are perfect Genevieve smirked.
All of a sudden, warm hands wrapped themselves around the siren's waist. Jenna turned to see Nightmarity's breathing on her neck and it felt soft and warm so Jenna didn't object to it at all, in actuality she didn't want it to end.
"I didn't see you wake up" Jenna whispered.
Nightmarity gave her a soft kiss on the cheek, "I wanted to surprise you" she said.
"Well you did a good job" Genevieve joked.
Upon letting go, they both exchanged a soft loving kiss.
"I'm guessing your going to create an army of monsters and cause mayhem in Metropolis" Genevieve assumed.
"Not quite but your on the right track. I'm going to create a sort of humanized drager using these weapons, those heroes would never get past" Nightmarity explained.
"Ooh even better" Genevieve replied intrigued.
She smiled at the intrigued face that Genevieve's face at her plan.
"Hopefully those little heroes won't try to interfere our plans" Nightmarity said with a little malice in her voice.
They both looked in each other's eyes and placed another soft kiss on the lips before breaking the hug Nightmarity gave her earlier.
"You get everything ready Rarity, I have some unfinished business to take care of" Genevieve said to Rarity smiling.
Fluttershy continued to carry a sleeping Aria Blaze down an alleyway, looking and hearing Aria snore lightly put a smile on her face. It reminded her of when she took care of all her animals back in her hometown of San Francisco, CA except that now it was going to Aria Blaze.
She's so cute when sleeping Fluttershy smiled brightly as she stroked her hair softly.
They arrived downtown to the Power Heroes HQ where she took Aria Blaze to her quarters upstairs, left from Rainbow Dash's room. She laid the siren on her bed and pulled some covers up to her neck before leaving quietly. Fluttershy took the elevator into the observation room and noticing that her friends had already suited up.
"What's going on?" Fluttershy asked concerned.
"We're going to go find Rarity and get that spooky nightmare essence out of her" Pinkie explained, making her hands move like a ghost.
Kate facepalmed.
Fluttershy puts on her Saddle Rager costume as she joined her friends, she noticed that Twilight kept Rarity's bracelets in of the holsters.
"I hope ya know what your doing Twi" Applejack skeptically said, feeling a bit off about Twilight's plan to save Rarity.
"Once Kate and I get those doors open, you all go in and do your thing" Thorn heart planned out.
Everyone got on the elevator and took it down to where the front door before either flying or running towards Midtown.
Don't worry Rarity we're going to get you out Twilight promised.
The heroes were close to the castle, Dash looked up to see the sky turning dark, like it was going to rain or something. Instead of rain, shadow beings rained down from the clouds like a bunch of asteroids. They hit the ground hard, barely missing Dash in the process.
"What on Earth was that?" Pinkie asked confused and taken aback from this sudden phenomenon.
The shadows that fell from the sky suddenly morphed into what could only be known as a drager, a dead corpse that came back to life to kill by any means possible. One attacked Kate but Kassidy sliced the damn thing with a yellow scythe made from the symbiote in her body.
"Thank you Kassidy" Kate appreciated.
Kassidy nodded in agreement before they all set out again to the castle in Midtown so that Twilight's plan can move into position.
"What is with these dead person looming around?" Dash questioned, while at the same time using her lightning to zap the drager out of existence.
"No idea but we'll need to keep fighting back" Thorn heart answered.
Pinkie speed punched 6 of them, causing their heads to come off but created a path for her friends to cross as they all stopped in Midtown, where the force field surrounded Nightmarity's castle that Dash and Pinkie encountered before.
"So this is the fancy castle Rarity is in?" Applejack assumed.
"Yep and those mean looking hounds that keep an eye on it are in there too" Pinkie said.
"We can stall them long enough so you guys can enter the castle" Kate said, patting Pinkie on the back.
Pinkie smiled at Kate, feeling some motivation flowing through her and she gave her a big soft hug as a thank you.
Guess Kate's actually starting to grow a heart Kassidy smiled at Kate.
"What's with that smile?" Kate asked a bit of malice in her tone.
"Oh nothing" Kassidy said teasingly.
Kate raised a single eyebrow at Kassidy's bullshit answer but didn't want to waste anymore time and got into position along with Thorn heart as both of them readied their magic. Combining chaos magic (Kate Taiga) and light magic (Thorn heart) was more than enough to create a big enough hole that the heroes could go through before both magical girls closed it up to prevent anything coming in with them.
"Okay here we are, now we need to find Rarity so we can get our friend back" Dash proclaimed.
The others nodded in agreement at that statement. All of a sudden, Nightmarity and Genevieve appeared in front of the heroes.
"Looks like they came just in time" Jenna said smirking.
"Nightmare Rarity I command you to release your hold on my friend this instant!" Matterhorn commanded.
Nightmarity simply gave an earth shattering maniacal laugh at the petty threat Twilight pulled out of her. She responded with a straight punch in the face that she thought connected but Matterhorn caught her fist and headbutted her. Nightmarity felt that and seemed dazed, Matterhorn used her rocket boots to spear Rarity and herself into another room of the castle.
Genevieve smirked at the remaining heroes that were thinking about challenging her. Zapp lead the charge by rushing her and used her knee attack in the stomach of the snake siren, Pinkie sped up towards Genevieve to strike her with punches all over her body while Applejack threw one of her golden horseshoes at her but she caught it, hurled it at Zapp in the gut, crushing some of her ribs, making her spit blood before hitting the wall back first.
"Zapp!" Miss Marevelous called out, rushing over to tend to any wounds her friend suffered.
Both Rager and Kassidy readied themselves for a fight, Jenna rushed them without as so much as a warning and smacked Shy with her tail. She almost hit Scream (Kassidy) if she didn't move out of the way then clawed her face, sending her back first into a column that collapsed on top of her.
"You okay Shy?" Scream asked in a gravely voice.
"I think so, that was like getting slapped in the face with a face" Shy said, standing up with little effort.
"What happened?" Dash asked not realizing what was going on.
"Right now I think Genevieve is down at least for now" Kassidy said, letting the symbiote mask retract to reveal her face.
Twilight I hope what your doing works Applejack thought, hoping her friend's plan will work and get their friend back.
