“Her Thunderlane, I’m off from my work now, I just finished clearing the sky.” Rainbow shouted at Thunderlane who’s talking with the other Pegasi.
“Alright boss” he saluted.
“Call me if there is something wrong, alright?” When she saw him nodded,she sped up towards the library.She’s so excited that she’s going to read the next chapter of the book.
Rainbow didn’t pay much attention to where she’s flying to, she looked back and saw the Library’s window, she don’t have time flap her wings slowly as she cover her face instead preparing for her landing.
CRASH
“GGGAAHH” Twilight screamed in surprise.She levitate the fallen shelf back to it’s place.She saw Rainbow laying flat on the floor.She was about to panicked when she saw Rainbow rubbed her neck which means that she’s fine.
“Oowww” Rainbow groaned.
“Well Miss Rainbow Dash, you know the value of ‘Knocking on the door’ etiquette, right?” she asked.
“I’m sorry, I just got excited to read your book”
“That’s not an excuse, now I’m going to reshelve the whole Library again” Twilight facehoofed.
“Twi’ as much as I want to help you, your book keeps bothering me since morning.”
“It’s fine, it’s not like I’m going to organised the whole—whole library, I’m just glad you only knocked out one shelf or else I’m going to reshelve this for a whole week” Rainbow was about to fly upstairs when she heard Twilight speak.”...but that doesn’t mean you’re going to knocked off the whole library next time” she glared at her.
“I’m sorry okay? I’m going to use the front door next time, happy?” When Twilight nodded and turn her back on Rainbow as she start levitating the books that are scattered on the floor.
Rainbow smiled and flew towards her bedroom last night.
“Not wasting time,Aye” she lay on her stomach flipping the book from where she put her bookmark on it.

My eyes are all darted on the book that I am reading right now, I’m here at Library But my attention is not directly to the book.Many days passed and I still can’t get over with what Rainbow just said on that day in the soccer field.I’m not even sure if she really meant what she just said that time? Should I be prepared? Do I need to stop writing? No, that’s not gonna happen.Whether Rainbow Like it or not im still going to continue it, it’s not like she’s my parent.
“Maybe I should consider dating an egghead”
Would she really consider dating a nerd like me? Or is that only a sarcasm? But since she and Fleetfoot broke up, many girls and boys here at CHS starts to flirt with her, kinda gross for me, almost like they want to break Rarity’s record of dramaticness.But honestly Rainbow didn’t put her interest on them but I’m still not lucky.Its possible that she doesn’t have interests for those people with high-mentenance,popular girls or boys and she realized that nerd are cute because of my story.
Don't put your hopes Twilight, you’re not even sure that she feels that way, do you?
I remember Rainbow’s smile when I saw her on the other day sitting on the beach in a covered walkway while reading Wattpad in her phone.Is that why she’s smiling about because she’s thrilled? Does she imagine herself dating a nerd which happened in the story I wrote? I don’t think so, because When Rainbow is like that especially when you talk about soft topic like romance, she’s blushing hard especially her wings, but then again this Rainbow here doesn’t have wings.
I can’t help myself from smiling while staring at the open book in front of me.I shuddered in delight to the girl on that story who’s the one who make Rainbow thrill to read it.
But is it really true that Rainbow will consider to have a girlfriend who is nerd? Will that break her reputation? When I wrote that story, I just want myself to give a chance to be with someone you know that will never be yours, but I didn’t know that it will go like this.I wrote that for my stress relief.I want to be Rainbow’s love interest even though in fiction world.It’s not my intensiyon to made Rainbow have a different taste towards other person.Especially I didn’t expect her to read it.
If Rainbow is serious about that, does that mean there’s a chance she will notice me? Oh for Celestia’s sake, stop it Twilight, let the opportunity flow to you not that you’re the one who will flow.
I bite the end of the pencil that I am holding now trying to keep myself from squealing in delight.I forced myself to concentrate to the book that I was reading a while ago.But I only got focus for awhile when I felt like there’s a comrade around here.I looked around.I saw my other schoolmates on the other table whispering to each other while they all looking at the same direction.When I turned to look where they are looking at, I dropped my pencil on the notebook beside the book I was reading.
It’s Rainbow who they're looking at.It looks like she just entered inside the library.Her eyes looked around as if she’s trying to inspect something.The look on the other students inside the Library are surprisingly shock while looking at Rainbow who looks like they got lost somewhere.Looks like it’s their first time to see a soccer player inside the Library.Who would expect that a soccer player would go to the place where they called ‘Boring place in the School’.
For all those years that I entered and go out of the CHS Library, it’s also my first time to see Rainbow inside the library.So it’s like I saw an apparition while looking at her.I didn’t noticed that my mouth’s agaped and I’m still frozen in shock.
Then all of the sudden, Rainbow’s eyes darted to me.I blinked, doubting that she’s looking at me.I looked at my back, to my left and right to check if there’s other person Rainbow is looking at right now, and not me.That is weird for me to be doing that to be honest.But there is no one.When I turned to look at Rainbow, her eyes are still on me.I felt my body went limped.
My heart beats faster than I thought it would be.For the first time,after the fall formal, she noticed and see me.It’s been a while since I wished about this moment.I felt blood boiling in face.Why is she looking at me like that? Why does her look it’s like, she found something that she’s been looking for.
But maybe she’s not really loooking at me.Maybe on the shelf behind me.So I lowered my gaze and turn my attention to the book I was reading.It’s painful to expect and hope something you can’t even get.I don’t want to humiliate myself in front of the people.I acted like nothing happened but honestly, I was just passing through the letters in the book.
Finally, I decided to look at Rainbow again, but unfortunately she’s gone from where she’s standing a while ago.I simple glance around the library to scan if she’s in here.Rainbow is gone.Maybe she went outside.Maybe she really just lost it’s not like she’s going to have fun reading the books in here while listening to the mares in here gossiping and whispering about her (even though many people can hear what they are talking about).
I didn’t mean like she’s not studying that’s why she never go in Library.She’s an athlete and never in history she went inside the library, that doesn’t mean she isn’t smart.I know she’s smart especially when I help my pony friend Dash to study about the history of the Wonderbolts.Not that type of smart who’s in top-class like me, but I know she’s smart in her way not like the other athletes in school, if she isn’t smart then what the hay did they made her the captain ball of the team? I’m always in the library but that doesn’t mean I’m the smartest one.I just really love reading so I’m always here away from other people.I got used to stay here when I am alone.And I also finished my homesworks here except for my projects that is.
My heart beat came back to normal rate because I know that Rainbow is gone now.But I’m not pretty sure if I’m the one she’s looking at minutes ago, I felt butterflies in my stomach.It’s also the same as Galaxy feels when she saw fictional Rainbow met her gaze for the first time.
I grabbed my notebook in Physics and the other three books that I got from the shelf a while ago to open it.But I was disappointed to discover that it was not the correct volume of the encyclopedia I needed for my project.I keep doing wrong things right now after what I heard last time to Rainbow considering to date a nerd.I literally grabbed the wrong one.So I stood up from my chair to return this book and get the right volume that I need.It’s fine for me to sleep in here since I already slept here when I went through the portal to get my crown back.Speaking of Alicorn, it’s been a while since I use magic.The row of the shelf is quite high which is where the encyclopedia placed in.When I was trying to get that book it's a bit too high, I climbed on the stool to get it.But unfortunately, the stool was not there, where it’s supposed to be.Maybe someone get it.I just used the tip-toe thing to put the wrong Volume on its place.I smiled when I succeed to put the book back even though it doesn’t enter right in between but this time I couldn’t reach the volume I need.
While I forcing myself to reach the book, I saw a hand reaching the book for me.I panted heavily, I didn’t felt like this when I was in Pony world since I used to grab my books with magic and magic is not allow here even though I have the ability to do so.When I turn around to see the kind person who grab it for me, my eyes widen in shock and surprise when I saw who it was.
It’s Rainbow Dash who’s holding the volume that I was supposed to get it a second ago!
I just stared at her.This time, I know for sure that she’s looking at me because I am the only one who’s in fro t of me when she entered the library.
Sweet mother of Celestia almighty.It’s my first time to face Rainbow.It’s the first time she look and noticed me.And most of all, she helped me to get the book I was about to reach a while ago.
She was like my hero.Well she literally a hero since she hold the elements of loyalty.But I put all the magic back to equestria so does the magic of Sunset Shimmer, But Since I’m the princess of friendship, our world allowed me to use my magic for my safety here.They said that I don’t need to show to the other people here I still have my magic in me while the others drained off of them.
When she smiled at me slightly, my heart is ready to jump off of my chest and walked towards to Rainbow.That's a smile I just saw, but I don't think it's real.Nevermind.
“Were you trying to get this book?” she asked me while raising the book.Well you obviously saw it right? You’re so lucky that you’re tall.
Oh my world.She’s talking to me!! stop getting frustrated at her, you knew that this is your opportunity Twilight, so don’t waste it.I thought, this moment will never happen.”Y-yes” I said, my lips are quivering, Oh buck.
“So you need it too.We’re the same”
“Huh?”
“I also need it too”
“Ahh...” I felt embarassed to myself.Rainbow didn’t get that book for me.I was about to tell her that she could go read it first because she’s the first one to grabbed it but she speak again.
“But maybe we can share”

“Yeah,why don’t we sit next to each other on the table so that we could both read the book”
I gulped.We? Me and Rainbow will sit next to each other?
“What do you think?”
“Ah...” Am i the one who will not accept her offer? I’m kinda nervous but I don’t want my opportunity to go waste especially when you’re going to sit next to you crush.”Sure...”

I almost touch the the front of my heart to check if it is still there.Twilight you can do this, you’re not Rarity okay?
Rainbow let me read the book first.While I Jot down the notes from the book, I know she’s watching me while sitting beside me behind the table.Even if I don’t look at her, I could sense that her left palm on her cheek while her elbow support her on the table.Somehow, my dream came true that she will notice me.
I’m aware that all people inside the library are looking at us, but I think Rainbow doesn’t care about them.I think they were wondering that it’s Rainbow’s first time to sit next to a nerd.Or maybe they think that we were doing a dramatisation about the events in my Wattpad novel.
Right.That Wattpad novel, The Heartthrob And the Nerd I don’t think that title fits to Rainbow, but as I look at the whole campus 90% of them has a crush on her so basically she’s a heartthrob.
I think I know why I got acquainted with jeremy all of a sudden. She is curious to the nerds like me. I do not know if I should be thankful that she chose to approach me to charge her curiousity to such ones like me.

When I looked at her eyes, I could read something in there.I saw the amusement in there.Right.Maybe she really just curious about nerds like me that’s why she came here.That doesn’t mean that she wants to date with me.Maybe she wants to know if the the nerdy girl in my novel is real.If I’m the one she chose to represent people like me, I need to prove that they can also have an interests to the nerdy people.
“Why do we have this book when there’s the internet?” out of blue, she asked me with a lower voice.What a relief, lucky for us we’re both in the rear row of the table far from the head of the librarian.
“Huh?” Yeah, most of the students use internet to research for their homework, especailly the ancient ones.
I just nodded my head.”I see, you have a point”

I can’t believe it, but I hide my amazement about what is happening so that it may not seem to obvious for her.
“But fiction books, do they have here?” Well it’s obvious that she never entered the library ones because she doesn’t know that every shelf in here has section,especially when the library have a fiction books section.

“But isn’t tiring? The point that you’re going to come here to read when you can read fiction books right from your mobile phone at home or anywhere you like?” Rainbow point her IPhone which is laying on the table.”Do you know a mobile app called Wattpad?”
She really asked me that? I just nodded my head,If she ever knew that she’s talking with the author of the story where she’s the female lead/ protagonist character.
“I only know that there’s many books in there recently” I heard Rainbow said.
“Most of them are written by amateur writers and unpublished authors so there’s no hard copy.I really want to read physical books than the others in the internet.
“So you don’t read Wattpad?”
“I do” If I could just tell her about it but I don’t want to lie on her so that she couldn’t think of me as ILoveLilies.”Sometimes”
“Do you read ILoveLilies’s works”
“I...ILoveLilies?” I could just say yes but I don’t want to lie on her.”Yes.Her stories are popular in school nowadays”

“The one that has the same name of yours as the main character?” I added for her.”Yes.I think most of the people read all about it, because it’s controversial”
“It’s not just we have the same name,I am that person in there.The author,whoever she or he is, is using not my only name but a lot of stuff about me”

While I’m walking towards the headquarters of the Reader’s Club, Rainbow is the only thing I could think of.I can’t still get over about our first-encounter yesterday.My mind went blank not because she noticed,talked, and sit beside me, it’s because of the last thing she said before the bell rang.I need to leave her there because I have my next class.And one thing, I don’t know what to say after hearing that.

How did she figure that out so easily? Does she know that I’m ILoveLilies and that I wrote the fictional love story about us? Impossible.Even my friends doesn’t know about it, especially her who i didn’t talk for a long long time.
I just remember what she and her teammates were talking about.Rainbow thinks that her love interest on the story exist..Was she going around the campus trying to find the who’s real-life Galaxy Star was? Is that how huge her obsession about that story? Is that how huge her curiousity about the nerds like me?
It’s possible that when she saw me and think that I’m capable with being Galaxy Star as an inspiration to ILoveLilies for the character.But the thing I’m curious about is, of all the nerd in CHS, why did she chose me?
I stopped from walking when I noticed that someone is blocking my way.I lift my head and saw that Rainbow is the one who’s blocking my way.She smiled at me again.She stepped forward so that we could face each other.
“Hi Twilight,” she greeted.
Did she just mention my name? She know me?

“Well, your name is in your ID.” I looked at my chest where my ID pin put on.
After the events of fall formal, I forgot to mention that I cleared all of their memories since the day I transferred here I don’t want them to look disappointed because I took all the magic back to Equestria.To Sunset Shimmer, I fix her mind to stay focus on what she’s now and that she doesn’t know about how I retrieved my crown from her.
I looked down and smile.I raised my head and said.”That’s what I said.” If never knew how relaxing to hear her say my name.
“I think we have an unfinished conversation”
Our conversation yesterday was cut off by the bell.
“You mean the thing about...I’m Galaxy Star?”
She nodded.
I blink while meeting her gaze.Is she serious about her theory? I just laughed to show that I did not take seriously about what she said.”You’re funny also...”
She’s not smiling anymore but I could see her amusement in her eyes.”I’m serious.I think Galaxy also exists in real life, just like I do.Dont you think that’s possible?” Rainbow pretend that she’s thinking.
“Well if you think that Galaxy really exists, why did you think that there is possibility that me is her?”
I loss in her gaze, I keep moving my eyes all around me.Maybe I’m not ready yet to make an eye contact to her for that long.
“Well...because I think you’re the prettiest girl with glasses here in school”
I quickly turn my gaze to her.Is she for real? She just call me the prettiest girl with glasses in school? I can’t believe it, Rainbow looks at me and talks to me, that’s big deal for me.Then all of the sudden she called me beautiful? And because of that my heart is going to leave me here and go with her.
My mind entered the scene in my novel where the fictional Rainbow told Galaxy the same line.
“You are the prettiest girl with glasses in school”
Well, when I wrote that part, I wasn’t trying to praise myself.There’s no way that I’m the prettiest girl with eyeglasses in CHS.I just only need to put some corny pick up lines on that story to make it more exciting.
Rainbow determined that I’m Galaxy because of that description?
“Hey, egghead” Rainbow interrupted me.I didn’t realized that I’m just staring at her while my mouth is open.The amusement in her face is obvious.
“What’s an egghead?” I’m just trying to change the topic, I dunno what to say after what happen.
“Egghead, well it’s the same as nerd but I kinda like that term, so that I can have a calling name to you.”
“Wh—...I...Well I’m not an egghead, I am well read” I huffed.I know what egghead means but the way Rainbow sounded like, it’s like insulting.
“I’m just teasing you, you dork” I don’t know why but I’m sure that my face is flushing right now.
I cleared my throat and laugh jokingly.”You’re really funny!”
Rainbow smiled again.”I’m not sure if you’re trying to be humble or something.Anyway, I still don’t forget why I came here for the first place.I want to talk to you in private.Is it okay with you?”
I point myself.”M-me?”
She nodded.”I need to ask you something” I gulped.What would she want to ask me that time that she even want to talk to me where there is no other people around? Things are getting scary right now.
I remember what Rainbow said to her teammates again.
“Maybe I consider dating a nerd”
Don’t tell me, she is going to ask me if I could date her?

Rainbow placed her bookmark on the book and stretch her wings.As soon as she finished stretching, she flew downstairs to see Twilight just finished reshelving.
Rainbow’s wing flared open when she saw Twilight’s position.Twilight is laying on her couch ball wearing eyeglasses while reading a book, but the thing that made Rainbow blushed was Twilight’s flanks.She shook her head.’You perv’
“Ohh hi there,Rainbow, do you need something?” Twilight removed her glasses and looked at Rainbow.
“Well I’m just going to grab some sweets in Sugarcube Corner, care to join me?”
“Well I’ve got nothing to do so, let’s go” she levitate her book on the table walking beside Rainbow.
“After you princess” she bowed.
“Rainbow, you know that you don’t need to call me like that, I’m your friend after all” Rainbow closed the door behind them and follow Twilight.
“Well I have my purpose”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s the best if you don’t know yet but Someday I’m going to tell you” When I’m not to coward to tell you
Twilight sighed.”I’m kinda bored to walk right now how about let’s have a race.”
“Okay the one who loses will going to buy cinnamon rolls” she looked at Twilight But Twilight was half way towards Sugarcube.
“She’s fast! HEY!! THAT’S CHEATING”
She openened her wings and start speeding up to fly towards Twilight.
