Everypony inside the Golden Oak Library but Princess Celestia were awfully silent. The solar princess of Equestria has recently arrived to inform them something really important. 

And one thing was certain. They weren't good news.

"Princess Celestia? What do you mean by us going extinct?" Rainbow Dash broke the silence. As awesome as she thinks she is, she too is wondering what Celestia was telling them.

Twilight was the next who had something to ask her mentor. "Not to mention that you mentioned almost just like last time. Does that mean you know about Predacons?"

She received a nod from Princess Celestia in respond. "I do. And it's unfortunate that Equestria must encounter those vicious Predacons again."

"Excuse me your majesty?" Said Rarity in her usual formal manner. "But is there a story between you and Predacons?"

"Oh? Does it involve about previous friendships you shared with them? Were Predacons really nice and party loving dragons?" Asked Pinkie Pie, almost completely oblivious over Celestia's warning.

"No Pinkie Pie. That never happened" Celestia shook her head, which earned a sigh of disappointment from Pinkie Pie. "In fact, i should all tell you something. A story about the Predacons in Equestria."

Princess Celestia cleared her throat for a moment, before beginning her speech. Everypony kept themselves quiet to listen.

"It all started more than a few years after Nightmare Moon's banishment. I was still grieving over the fact that i had to banish my dear younger sister Luna to the moon, in order to protect Equestria from eternal night. Then from the sky humongous a total of 3 meteors approached Equestria all of a sudden."

"Oh. Shooting stars. Did you wish for something?" Pinkie Pie interrupted, which earned a couple of shushes from her friends. "Sorry."

Celestia continued. "Each meteor that landed made a colossal crater during impact. Almost all of Equestria could hear it. They all landed near the mountains, which me and a couple of the best archaeologists decided to investigate. We all took a close look, which is where we realized that they weren't meteors at all. In fact, they weren't anywhere close to rock material."

Everypony kept listening. The princess cleared her throat to continue. "Those 'meteors' were akin to dragons in terms of appearance, but they had a couple of key differences. Their skin seemed to be made of an unknown material similar to steel. They were more than twice the size than usual grown dragons. And once their eyes opened, they lacked pupils, only glowing golden eyes that stared down upon us."

Twilight then interrupted her next. "Hold on, you're saying that Predacons existed here on Equestria almost 1000 years ago?"

"That's indeed true Twilight Sparkle." The princess responded. "And if you haven't already guessed, then the reason i've come to explain about them is that those beings called Predacons didn't come here in peace. Each Predacon that just opened their eyelids started roaring towards the sky. When they noticed me and the archeologists, they charged at us, indicating that they see us as their enemies. I managed to conjure a shield in time to protect me and my group. Once they were safe, i tried to get close enough to reason with them, tell them that we weren't here to harm them or something. The Predacons however were completely unreasonable no matter what i tried explaining to them. They rampaged towards Canterlot."

"I'm not exactly sure if i should say if it's cool or horrifying." Stammered Rainbow Dash. "I mean, i'm not afraid of dragons at all."

"Just like ya weren't earlier during our dragon cave time?" Applejack smirked, with Rainbow Dash glaring at her.

Celestia cleared her throat again. Applejack and Rainbow Dash returned to paying their attention. "During their rampage, i used my magic in attempt to slow them down. I was however stunned to see the Predacons resistant to my magic. I tried casting various of powerful spells to stop them, but it made no difference, they in the end ignored every spell and magic power i've used on them. They were getting close to Canterlot. Finally i decided to use the last resort that i hoped it wouldn't come to be. The Elements Of Harmony."

"You used the Elements Of Harmony on them? What happened?" Asked Rarity.

"The minute before the Predacons could get close to Canterlot, the Elements magic were surrounding all 3 Predacons. I watched them all slowly turning to stone. Even with the Elements, i had to concentrate all the time, the Predacons were doing their best to resist the magic. At last after a long struggle with them, it was all over. They were now a couple of statues. The panic was over, and i hid them far away as possible. Over the years everypony but me seemed to have forgotten all about the Predacons. Knowing how powerful those creatures were, i was hoping that Equestria wouldn't ever see such foul beings. But today i realized i was wrong."

Everypony felt silent once more. They were a little afraid of hearing Celestia's past story. "So ya'r saying that Predacons are a bunch of big violent bullies that attacked you?" Asked Applejack.

"That's one way to describe them. And Twilight Sparkle wrote about you all meeting a Predacon today." Said Princess Celestia.

"That's right. Predaking was the one making the smoke. Or it was actually those funny blue gems that caused it, and he ignited them. Which means he was in fact the one who started it after all." Retorted Pinkie Pie.

Celestia eyed Pinkie Pie the moment she mentioned the name of the Predacon. "Predaking?"

"Yep, that's what he said his name was. He looked something similar to a king."

The princess almost felt a cold chill inside her heart. "Said? Are you telling me that this Predacon known as: Predaking, can speak?" Asked Princess Celestia.

"He could do more than that. He could even shift his body like a piece of puzzle bricks. In his other form he was quite similar to what is known as primates in terms of stance and body."

"I had no idea Predacons were capable of such feet. The one they're talking about seems far more intelligent than the first 3 i confronted almost 1000 years ago." Thought Princess Celestia. 

"This could lead to danger if a Predacon like him is this intelligent. He may perhaps be trying to manipulate them before he would strike with his upcoming rampage." Celestia then turned to Twilight. "Twilight? Where is Fluttershy? I haven't seen her around lately."

"I think she's with Predaking. She wants to hear more from him."

"This Predacon must be already taking advantage of one poor pony. I cannot let it continue." Celestia thought. "But in case that he's really that cunning as i may fear he is, maybe i should go see him to make precautions for upcoming battles." 

After being done with her thoughts, the Princess turned to Twilight again. "Twilight. Please take me to this 'Predaking'. I would like to see him up close."

Twilight nodded to her ruler and mentor. "As you wish Princess Celestia. Me and my friends have been discussing about going up there to meet Fluttershy as well."

Everypony headed out of the library. As they walked, Rainbow Dash flew next to Applejack. "Do you have a feeling that Celestia means business with Predaking?" She whispered.

"Ah'm glad that i ain't the only one with a sudden bad feeling about this Dash." Applejack whispered back.





On top of the mountain where the large dragon cave was located, Predaking has yet to leave the cave. He was still conversing with his newly made associate Fluttershy. This was also the first time Predaking was speaking with another being that clearly wasn't a Cybertronian such as himself.

As of now Predaking was telling the small yellow pegasus about his past life. "And there you have it. The story of how my resurrection came to place. How my time with the Decepticons were. How that fiend took away my chance to reunite with my kind. And how i failed to avenge them."

Fluttershy has listened to Predaking's whole story. She was gaping in surprise while having heard the whole story of Predaking's past life after he was returned to the living. At the same time she was dropping a small tear from one of her eyes.

Her empathy for him only grew stronger. "I'm really sorry Predaking. Even if you're kind wasn't the most friendliest, you still do care for them."

Predaking saw Fluttershy spreading her wings out and flew up to his eye sight. She gently placed a hoof on his face, which indicates her sympathy for him. That was almost exactly what she did earlier when he mentioned his species extinction.

Sympathy was something Predaking had little knowledge of. He could somehow feel something inside of him warm up. Something that makes him feel something blooming in his spark. He just couldn't place his claw on what that was.

Is this what it may be? The word friend she mentioned.

"I just can't believe what you've been through. Those Decepticons you call were just using your feelings to take your anger out on the wrong." She said. She removed her hoof from his face as he looked to her. He could see she didn't seem all this scared of him than she was earlier.

"Neither could i. Even my former creator Shockwave had the nerve to turn his back on me. After everything i've done. And this is what i gain in return?" Said Predaking. He was still filled with anger from remembering the time not only the air commander Starscream torturing him(and paid the price in return), and next Megatron breaking his trust by planning a termination on Project Predacon, which he put the blame on the Autobots.

"This Megatron is... just a really evil pony." Said Fluttershy. She was hesitating to say the more bold words to express it. 

"You don't know the beginning. And i was planning on terminating an Autobot that i thought held responsible for that eradication. But before i landed the last strike, he told me the truth." Predaking continued to explain. "I turned on my former leader Megatron, got rid of every soldier in my way, and prepared to take my revenge on him."

Predaking sighed. "Unfortunately Starscream came to ruin it. Once my guard was lowered, Megatron send me out of his flying warship. And before i had a chance of turning into a beast to fly back, i was ground bridged here to your land."

Fluttershy was saddened to hear that. While she knew that taking revenge is usually a bad thing. She could feel Predaking's wrath for Megatron was more justified, knowing that he was manipulated and had his reunion chance ruined out of the evil leader's own arrogance and paranoia.

Now Fluttershy had something else coming to her mind. "What is this ground bridge exactly Predaking?" Asked Fluttershy. She heard him mention ground bridge a lot during his story telling.

"I am no genius in terms of science. I know ground bridges are technology made to coordinate two distant locations. Once an individual enters, they arrive from the first location to the other. Space bridges are the superior kind that can travel further away."

"Oh like a teleportation spell? My friend Twilight knows a bit about teleportation spells." Fluttershy said. "Maybe you could ask her more about it sometime."

"It seems there's not unlikely i won't. By your confusion, ground bridge technology is not from this world." Predaking sighed, which Fluttershy could tell was out of disappointment. 

Fluttershy tapped his face again. "Don't be sad Predaking. I'm sure we will come up with a solution. Maybe Twilight can find a way to send you home."

"I don't know. Can she be trusted?" Predaking asked.

"You met her yesterday Predaking. Didn't she sound like a nice pony to you? I swear that she's nothing like that Megatron who's been lying to you for so long."

Predaking gave a thought for a moment. He then came for a conclusion. "Alright then. If she does know something about it, then you can have her over here. But don't take too long."

Fluttershy nodded to him. She turned to fly out of the cave, leaving Predaking alone for the time being.

"Even if they do find a way to get me back for Megatron, why do i feel sudden emptiness inside my skin?" Predaking said. "Maybe this pony creature is having a mysterious effect on me."
