After the train ride from Ponyville to Canterlot, they were met by the royal guard to inspect BlackAgumon and Renamon to see if they have weapons on them. And then two ponies came up, one unicorn stallion and one unicorn mare. And both of them said, “Welcome to Canterlot, home of the Noble Elite. What can we do for you?”
“We have a very important message for the princesses, where is the castle?” Selve asked.
“I’ll show the way Ms…?” The unicorn mare asked Selve for her name
“Its Selve. Nice to meet you.” She said with a smile.
“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Fleur Di Lis. And it good to meet you as well.” Fleur said with a warm smile.
“And my name is Fancy Pants, it is swell to meet you too Selve.” He said with a bow.
“Well thanks but we must get to the princesses as soon as possible, an old foe has made his move.” Selve said with worry.
“The old foe’s name is Devimon, we need to get to Celestia and Luna.” BlackAgumon said to them.
“Did you say Devimon? I’ll come as well.” Fancy Pants said.
“How do you know that name?” Selve asked.
“Let’s just say, I’m from a long line of royals, I’m said to be the direct descendant of Princess Platinum. But right now, we all got to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to deliver the message, so stick close to me so you all won’t get lost.” He said as he was leading them to the Main Castle of Canterlot. And the rest followed him to where Princess Celestia and where Princess Luna is.
“I’m so nervous, this is my first time with royals.” Selve looks very tense.
“Don’t worry, you’ll like them Selve, so relax.” Fancy said to Selve.
She tries to as they approach the princesses.
“Fancy Pants, what is going on?” Luna asked him, “Why are these strangers… doing… here?” Looks at Gold Hoof, “S-sister… look who is here…”
“Is that? GOLD HOOF! You have returned!” Celestia practically sprints over and hugs him.
And Luna does the same.
“Sorry to break this up, but we have grave news, an ally of Devimon has come.” Selve said.
“More of a former ally of Devimon, that was one of the underlings of the Demon Lords.” BlackAgumon stated to them.
“He is likely planning his next move. We came to warn you that you are in danger.” Renamon added.
“What is your name Digimon?” Luna asked Renamon.
“I am Renamon, and this dragoness here is my partner.” she replied to Luna.
“Welcome to Equestria Renamon.” Luna said with a smile.
“Do you two remember me?” BlackAgumon asked the two princesses.
“Sister? Do we remember this Digimon?” Luna asked Celestia.
“Not as he is, but I think he might be the warrior we fought with so long ago, does the name BlackGreymon mean anything to you?” she asked BlackAgumon.
“So you do remember me, yes, I was the BlackGreymon that fought with you all those years ago.” BlackAgumon said to the two princesses.
“It has been a long time princesses.” BlackAgumon stated to them.
“But anyways, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, from what I’ve heard from BlackAgumon, I’m beginning to agree with him, I think we also need to prepare for these… Demon Lords.” Gold Hoof stated to them.
“Have you heard anything from the Digital World?” Selve asked.
“All we know is that the Demon Lords are planning to invade Equestria, that is all we know. But they are not the true threat to this world, the one we sealed long ago is the true threat. He is no longer an underling, he is the main threat now, I sensed his power… he stronger than from before… it’s very concerning…” He said to them.
“Luna, there is something we should speak of, a prophecy we were told.” Celestia reminded her sister.
“Yes we should, how about you explain it sister.” Luna said to them.
“One day when Starswirl was casting magic he was told something likely from the Digital World. When Tamers walk the land, the power of the spirits shall be used once more. If this is true, you are likely not alone in the quest to stop this evil.” Celestia said.
BlackAgumon gasps at the prophecy in awe, “The legend of the ten Legendary Warriors… I thought it was just myth… a superstition to instill fear in evil Digimon, but… this could change everything…”
“Exactly, this is the kind of break we need.” Renamon said with a smile.
“I cannot believe that the legendary warriors actually exist, do you Renamon?” He asked her.
“It’s hard to believe, but again this it the kind of edge that could end this fight.” she replied.
“Indeed, this could be the break we need!” He smiles.
“For now, if ANYONE shows up with a Digimon let us know alright?” Selve said.
“Indeed, we need to watchout for anyone who…” Gold Hoof said as a strange clownlike Digimon appears in front of everyone.
“Hello there.” The strange clownlike Digimon with a strange red, black and white tux and a red and black mask like face said to everyone.
“No…” BlackAgumon said with a little fear.
“NOT HIM! Anyone but him!” Renamon started to shiver in terror.
“W-who is that?!” Gold Hoof said with some fear.
“It’s power, I can barely breathe it’s so much!” Sevle said.
“Allow me to introduce myself… I am Piedmon.” Piedmon said with a wicked smile.
“Why are you here, Piedmon?!” Selve asked trying to put on a brave face.
“Simple, I have but one goal, to destroy both the Digital World and this world.” Piedmon said to simply for them to understand his main goal
“We are going to stop you!” Renamon said with resolve.
“Do you not remember the last time we fought?” Piedmon said to Renamon very coldy.
“We can’t just stand back and do nothing, we must fight!” she replies back readying herself.
“Very well… you asked for it… and I shall respond… accordingly.” He said as he seemed to vanish without a trace.
“W-where is he?!” Gold Hoof asked. “Wait what is he up to!?” Selve asked as they all tensed up.
“Keep your guard up, everyone, he’s at an extremely fast speed.” BlackAgumon said to everyone. And after he said that a virus clone Gaogamon appeared in front of them.
“WHAT IS THAT!?” Selve starts to panic.
“Oh no… that is a Shadow Gaogamon…” BlackAgumon answered, “RENAMON! WILL YOU HELP ME?!”
“Well duh, of course friend!” She nods back and charges it.
Then the Shadow Gaogamon dodges Renamon’s charge and does a counterattack. And it knocks her down.
“Agh it’s so fast, i could use a boost!” Renamon moaned.
“ON it.” Selve slashes a card through her digivice and Renamon speeds up.
Shadow Gaogamon charges head on and it jumps over Renamon and kicks her down.
“Lets try this card!” with a slash, Renamon’s left arm gets a cannon. “SUPREME CANNON!”
Shadow Gaogamon runs at a fast speed that not even Renamon can make a hit.
“Can’t get a lock, we need more power- OW!” she ends up on her butt after a powerful hit from the Shadow Gaogamon.
“Hey Gold Hoof!” He to his Tamer.
“I know what to do.” He takes out a Power Attack Modify Card and swipes it.
“GRAHHHHHHHHHHH!” He tries to grab the Shadow Gaogamon but he fails.
“Damn it!” Gold Hoof cursed.
“We need both speed and power.” Selve realized it.
“Yes! That’s it! Thanks Selve!” He thanks her.
“Rena?” He asks Renamon.
“Do you have a plan?” Renamon asked.
“They do and I heard using power and speed on that Shadow Gaogamon.” He answered.
“We tried a speed card, he is too fast for us.” She said back.
“As in using both power and speed together.” He replied.
“If we are to slow with a speed card alone, adding power to it won’t change that fact.” Rena reminded him.
“What if I throw you, I’m not using Power Defense, I’m using Power Attack.” He said to her.
“Thats worth a shot, but the odds we hit are low.” she replied.
“I know but we do have one shot.” He replied again.
“Well we have to try.” She moves to where he can grab her.
BlackAgumon grabs her by her feet and he throws her and she is able to get a critical hit on the Shadow Gaogamon. And it falls to the ground with its data dispersing.
“That… was hard…” BlackAgumon said to her.
“Yes very, he was almost an ultimate level in power. This is bad.” Renamon said.
“Yeah… but Piedmon… he’s far worse.” He replied grimly.
“Huf huf huf, we need to get stronger to stand a chance at keeping our Tamers safe.” Renamon gasped out, utterly spent.
“Yeah, I know.” He grabs her hand picking her up.
“Thank you Black. We must find a way to get stronger.” she said.
“Yes I know, they may not know this but… Piedmon is a mega level, they should not be letting their guard down, we both know that he is still here.” He says still keeping his guard up.
“Hey you two, good job!” He smiles.
“Now is not the time to let our guards down.” BlackAgumon said to his Tamer and Renamon’s Tamer.
“Why is that?” Selve asked puzzled.
“Indeed, why is that?” Piedmon said as he reappears smiling wickedly.
“YOU!” Selve could not stop shaking, her body screaming that this thing was stronger than them all like a alarm bell.
“If you want to know… that Shadow Gaogamon I sent was just a champion level… I on the other hand, I am a Mega level Digimon.” His smile grew more wickedly.
“So you plan to kill us?” Selve asked.
“No, just toy with you a bit. You’ll wish that you are dead once I get through with you.” He smiled evilly.
“Then if you will not kill us, leave!” Selve roared, getting a bit of her guts back.
“I’m sorry but… I can’t.” He coldly replied
“At the very least, let us take this somewhere else, you are only after us right?” Selve asked trying to get a feel for something.
“Like I said… I… CAN’T!” He quickly goes after Selve.
“SHIT!” she does her best to dodge.
Piedmon hits Selve extremely hard into a pillar.
“OW that smarts!” she tries to flee too scared to fight.
He still goes after Selve not letting up on her, “You think you can escape from me?”
“No matter who you are, or your power. You don’t have wings.” she said back.
“I don’t need wings. All I have to do is cut them off.” Piedmon replied
“How can you do that when im already in the air to far for you to jump?” She mocks him.
Piedmon jumps extremely high, “Does this answer your question?”
“Ok so I’m screwed either way, why then do you not just kill me? Am I not in your way!?” She said trying to be brave.
“Like I said… I’m going to toy with you.” He just simply smiled cruelly.
That simply breaks her will. “There is no point, nothing we can do to stop this, might as well just kill myself, not like anyone would care.”
BlackAgumon roars in fury, “PIEDMON! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”
“Wow… Renamon… do you feel Black’s power?!” He asked her.
“Somehow it has surpassed Piedmon’s?!” Renamon exclaimed in shock as Gold’s digivice starts to shine.
“What?! What’s happening with my… digivice?!” Gold Hoof said with amazement.
It simply reads “digivolution.” BlackAgumon’s body starts to shine.
“RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLACKAGUMON DIGIVOLVE TO…” He Digivolves into the form he took 1000 years ago to battle Devimon, his helmet like head looks like a skull like helmet with grey coloring and his entire body looks slim, “BLACKGREYMON!”
“What?! What’s happening?!” Piedmon said as he felt a feeling he thought he would never feel again… fear.
Selve looks to her friend and gasps. “This is the warrior’s true form!”
“Piedmon I can never forgive you, you broke my friend’s spirit and I can NEVER FORGIVE YOU!” BlackGreymon said with a lot of rage and power.
“This energy, it’s so much!” Renamon finds it hard to breathe a little even.
Piedmon shudders at the power that BlackGreymon is exerting and BlackGreymon goes at an extremely fast pace that not even Piedmon could dodge it and gets hit into a pillar.
“Selve? Are you feeling Black’s power?” Gold Hoof says to her in awe.
“Yes it’s so much, its like its taking away all the air around him.” she replied.
Piedmon coughs up a lot of blood, “Gah! That actually hurts… oh no… this… actually… hurts… YOU WIN THIS TIME! BUT I’LL BE BACK THE NEXT TIME! I PROMISE YOU!” He said making his escape.
“That was AMAZING!” Selve smiled and flew back to Gold Hoof.
“Yeah I know Selve.” He said hugging her and smiling.
“Is Black Agumon ok?” She asked
BlackGreymon turns back to normal and reverts back into Black Agumon and breathes heavily.
“You might want to go to your partner Gold.” Renamon stated.
“Give me a minute to breathe, okay Rena?” He replied.
“You somehow where stronger than Piedmon, but how!?” She was in shock.
“I-I don’t know… but I felt power… like it was beyond mega level… how in the world did that happen?! I just felt… anger towards him, like it was… just pure raw rage... “ He replied in shock as well.
“It’s a sign, we need to train.” Renamon said.
“Yeah… we were extremely luck that I got that boost and that power… felt like it was the power of a… Super Ultimate…” He said in shock again.
“That just means great power sleeps in your data. The good news is your tamer now has a digivolve card. Let’s just pray to all legends, we are ready next time a mega shows its face.” She replies to him
“That’s good but that power, when will I use it again? When will it happen again? As far as I know that power will not come back until I and my Tamer has mastered it.” He replies to her.
“That is why we must train, and hard. It could mean the difference between life and death.” she said.
“I agree and I am thankful that I was able to protect your Tamer.” He smiled a bit that he did that.
“While I am grateful, it makes me feel so weak! That I could not even protect my own tamer!” Renamon starts to cry a bit.
He goes over to help comfort her, “I know you wish you could but one day, you will be able to protect her. I know it.” He smiles at her holding her hand to comfort her.
“ONE DAY! If that day is not soon, all will be lost!” She cries even harder.
He simply hugs her and says, “Let it all out.”
“For so long, I have been training for this, yet when the time came, I CHOKED!” She cried even more.
“We were dealing with Piedmon of all Digimon, if I didn’t have that boost, we would have all been scrapped!” He said to her
“AT LEAST YOU FOUGHT! All I did was be scared!” She looks ashamed.
“You want to know what I was thinking of during that fight? I was thinking that, ‘What am I doing?! This is Piedmon! How in the world am I facing him with no trouble at all!’ that is how I felt, I felt terrified but I had to overcome to to protect us all!” He said telling the truth.
The look of shock on her face told everyone all they needed to know.
“RENA!” He yelled at her.
“It’s ok, I’m just shocked at your resolve.”
“Now you understand? I wanted to protect you all in that… fight and I hope I will be able to do that again.” He said as he looks into her eyes.
Out of nowhere, she feels a spark as if a fire has been lit into her heart. “Thank you. And you’re right, I shouldn’t be so down.”
“Good, now we better get some rest… we need it…” He said to her.
“Ya.” is all Renamon can say as if in a sort of half trance.
“Um… Selve?” Gold Hoof asked Selve.
“Ya? Whats up?” Selve asked.
“Look at your Digimon.” Gold Hoof answers.
She takes a look and giggles.
“Looks like Renamon has a crush on my Digimon.” He said to Selve.
“From the looks of it ya.” Renamon was in the trance enough she didn’t catch that, so she shook her head. “What are you talking about?”
“Nothing Renamon.” Gold Hoof said to Renamon.
“Well for now, we need to rest up.” Renamon said.
“Yes, we need to.” BlackAgumon said to them.
“Celestia, luna, can we rest here for now?” Selve asked.
“Yes you can rest in the guest palace.” She said to them trying to remain calm, “But let me warn you, there is only 2 beds. One for Digimon and One for the many diverse species in and beyond Equestria, okay?”
“That’s good, it’s been a long time since I slept in a good bed.” He said before Celestia said something.
“I can share a bed with black.” Renamon said.
“That’s good Rena. This is the first time I’ve ever slept on a bed.” He replied.
“I can sleep on the floor, im used to it.” Selve said.
“Nonsense! Selve! You’ll get to have a bed to sleep in tonight and for you Mr Hoof, you will be sleeping in our bed tonight.” Luna replied to both Selve and Gold Hoof.
Selve eyes went wide.
“WHAT?!” Gold Hoof said not expecting that.
“Kid, good luck, you’re going to need it.” Black said to his Tamer, “Do you agree Rena?”
“Yes, isn’t it heat week for alicorns?” Renamon snickered.
Both Luna and Celestia blushed red.
“I… am… going… to… die…” Gold Hoof accepts his fate.
“I hate to say it but… you are going to die.” Black said while he snickered a bit.
“Thanks for the vote of confidence…” Gold Hoof deadpanned.
“So Rena, we’ll be sleeping together.” Black said to Rena.
“Ya, is that a problem Black?” she replied.
“No, I have no problem with that.” He replied.
“Good, as it would have been bad otherwise.” Renamon said.
“Yeah and I’m glad I’m sleeping with you.” Black said smiling.
“Really?” She starts to blush.
“Yeah, after all you’re my friend.” He smiles brighter.
“Oh ok. Ya it’s nice.” She smiles.
“Princess Celestia, do you have anything to eat around here? I’m starving for some digifood…” He said as his stomach is growling.
“I have no idea what digifood is, but I can have the royal chef whip something up.” Celestia sent for him.
“Thank you Princess.” Black bows in respect.
“There is no need for you to bow.” She replied.
“You are a princess, deserving of respect and I done so out of respect.” He replied.
“Well thank you, but rise now.” Celestia said.
“Very well.” Black said as he rose up.
“There you are, we have guests in need of your talent.” The royal chef went off to cook a massive feast.
“Thank Yggdrasil…” He said.
“Well you need your energy after all.” she said with a giggle.
“Yeah… I feel like I could eat several Mammothmons in ONE feast.” He replied, “And if you want to know… Yggdrasil is the equivalent of you two princesses.”
“Whoa, what do you make of this sister?” Luna asks Celestia.
“Well it makes sense, that they would have someone or something like us.” Celestia replied.
“Yggdrasil has the power to create and destroy the Digital World. It is not a king but a god.” He replied as well.
“Ok then. Thanks for the lesson. But now I think its food time!” Selve said seeing the chef return.
“YES! I am going to CHOW THIS DOWN!” He says as he starts to gorge himself.
Selve also digs in, looking starving.
“Wow, they are hungry…” Gold Hoof stated, “Don’t you agree Renamon?”
“For Black he used a huge amount of energy, as for my tamer, I fear she needs to eat that much.” Renamon stated.
“I agree and I seen the way you looked at Black.” Gold Hoof states with a smirk.
“What!? We are just friends nothing more!” she blushed.
“Be quiet Renamon, do you want him to hear us?” He states quietly.
“Then why bring it up!” He can tell Renamon is getting angry.
“I’m just saying don’t do it too soon. He may not feel the same way as you yet. I just want you to be careful.” He states with a concerned look while still being quiet.
“Alright I will.” she said back.
“And plus… I don’t want your heart broken, okay?” He said with a solemn look.
“Thank you.” She smiles.
“You’re welcome and… wait, where’s Spike and Guilmon?” He asked looking around.
“They said they went ahead to a Doughnut Joes? I think Spike said.” Selve answered.
“The hell is a doughnut? Who the hell is Doughnut Joe?” Gold Hoof said.
“Friend we will have a lot to teach you about what has changed in the last 1000 years.” Selve giggled.
“Okay?” Gold Hoof said confused.
Meanwhile with Spike and Guilmon…
A cloaked figure walks near where Spike and Guilmon is and say, “Hey, what brings you two here in Canterlot?”
“Well we came to Canterlot with two others, to warn the princesses of a terrible danger, or that is what our friends came to do, we just came to keep my family and friends safe.” Spike said.
“That’s a coincidence, there are others that are doing the same thing.” The shadowy figure said to Spike.
“How can there be others doing the same thing, if only me and my two new friends even know what the threat is in the first place?!” Spike said.
“Kid, let me tell you something I know, things are going to get dangerous in the next few days, so be prepared for what is coming.” The Shadowy Figure said to Spike.
“How do you know of this!? Who the heck are you?!” Spike answered back.
“Doesn’t matter who I am, all you need to know is that you need to be prepared for the following days.” The Cloaked Figure says as he goes past Spike.
“That was some strange words.” Guilmon said.
“I… agree… that was strange…” Pony Joe added.
