Sunset Shimmer groaned as she came to finding herself in Twilight's car and she turned her head finding the car was before a modest house that would fit both her and Twilight in coloration if this was Equestria. It was mainly purple with reddish gold trim making the home look like it was in the transition of day to night. Hearing a groan next to her sunset turned to see Twilight was next to her but a bit different as her normally lavender skin was now similar to Sunset's own tone and in her lap was Spike the dog looking alert and on edge.
"What happened? Last thing i remember was getting ready for college next thing i know im blacking out" asked Sunset confused.
"I don't know either but everything you and Twilight own is here including your motorcycle according to the scents but wherever here is it's pretty remote. This is the only place here" said Spike.
Sunset looked outside finding Spike was correct there was roads separating into the stages of a town but this house was the only building around and that was making Sunset uneasy as Twilight finally woke up and soon saw what her dog and Sunset was looking at also scared and confused.
"What's going on and what happened to my skin?" asked Twilight looking nervous.
"I don't know last i can remember was getting ready for college and helping you pack so we could meet up with the others at the school we picked" Sunset replied still unsure what was going on but if the change to Twilight was anything to go by she was worried they might not be in the world they knew.
Getting out of the car they entered the house finding it was just right and suited to the tastes of the two young adults. The living room doubled as a library full of every book the two owned including their college textbooks they got before heading to drive to their college, a tv for entertainment and the decore fit what they were used to. The fact made both girls nervous as it was exactly what the two would have designed if they kept living together past college. The kitchen was the same and already stocked with their usual meals. The next room was obviously for Sunset as it was a recording studio where Sunset found her guitar as it was clearly a place for her to practice.
"Well this is clearly creepy this whole house is designed for both of our ideal homes if we decided to stay roommates after college" said Twilight.
"I can agree there but who would build a house in such a empty place and then give it to us after kidnapping us and bringing us here?" Sunset wondered and had the feeling this was to help the two and Spike to blend in to this world but why place a house in what looked like a empty lot meant for the start of a town? Was more buildings and thus others going to appear in this place? She had a bad feeling if that was the case. They found the entrance to the basement and Sunset looked to Twilight.
"Well after you" offered Sunset as Twilight nodded and took the lead down the stairs.
The basement was Twilight's lab where her projects could be found and be worked on. The last room of the first floor was a office where the two found their laptops and other supplies like paper and pens for notes. The second floor had their bedrooms already set up to their tastes, three guest rooms for anyone visiting and a bathroom but it was what was in the attic that surprised the two as there was a antique Mirror in there looking suspiciously like the one Sunset used to leave Equestria for earth only the frame was black.
"I was afraid of this, Well that confirms something we might be in a different world from the one we know and equestria. This mirror looks a lot like the one i used to enter your world from Equestria." said Sunset frowning.
"Really?" asked Spike looking at the Mirror surprised.
"This one is different as the one i used didn't have a black frame but besides that it looks identical" said Sunset.
"Think we should ask my counterpart about this?" asked Twilight referring to her Equestrian counterpart who was a Princess of the realm there.
"No she's busy running her own school with her friends so they have a busy schedule. If things start getting serious and only if it's a emergency then i will use the journal to contact her about all of what we experience in this world. I left my old enchanted journal with applejack to watch over so we can contact her to keep our friends in touch if we won't be able to resolve this soon. For now let's keep this mirror a secret so no one misuses it" Sunset denied as that was something she learned about from Starlight when she wrote to her friends before graduation.
"Alright but if something happens we are contacting her right away. I don't think things will be peaceful for long while we are here. Though our friends might contact her if they get to worried about us disappearing for to long" agreed Twilight as she still wasn't used to the fact her counterpart opened a school and made her wonder what she wanted to do as a career.
Deciding to leave the mirror alone just in case, the two and lone dog headed back downstairs. The two and Spike decided to head to bed as it was getting to be late at night by the time they were done exploring the house. They would worry more about things in the morning to figure out what was going on. So heading to their beds the three went to sleep unaware that in the morning they would find something strange had occurred while they were asleep and the first part of the mystery they would soon find themselves in about this area as a result.
