A thousand years ago two beings known as the Warrior of Equestria and the Demon of the Moon came to the world of Equestria, one warrior that was good who saved all of Equestria but there was another one, one who wished to conquer it to rule it with an iron fist. But thanks to the Warrior , he never had the chance and thanks to him, he prevent an event that would have changed Princess Luna for the worse. And after those events, Luna had her own celebration, in fact two celebrations, when the Sunrise Celebration starts then becomes the Moonrise Celebration but when young colts and young fillies to get treats and wanting to get scared is Luna Scare Night. But also a young warrior stallion known by the name of Gold Hoof was frozen in an area that is near the border of the Dragon Lands. And the legend of the Frozen Warrior was also known by the dragons of the Dragon Lands.He has been frozen for 1000 years since the Warrior of Equestria saved all of Equestria. But then an outcast of the dragons came near where the Frozen Warrior is located.
“Why is it always me they pick on! Why is it such a crime to want to have friends!?” This dragoness said as she sobs. She is a fairly tall dragon, at around 7 foot, with silver scales and wings already grown in. She had always run away to this spot, where she liked to be alone from the pain of other dragons teasing for her differences.
Then within the ice The Frozen Warrior started wake and he startled the dragoness that was near him.
“What!? Something is in the ice!” She started to freak a bit.
The ice started to shake and the dragoness started to be curious of what is inside the ice container.
When she takes a close look she gasps in shock. “A pony!?”
That is when he started to speak from inside the ice container, “H-help me… I- I need to get out of this… container…”
Not even thinking twice she breathes fire over the ice, melting it. “Will that do?”
The ice eventually melts completely revealing a horned stallion with gold colored fur and an armor that looks similar to the Royal Guard armor that seems to be under both Celestia and Luna and he starts to speak more clearly, “Thanks… for that.”
“Well I couldn’t just leave you there to die. It’s not my way, although you got lucky it was me.” she said slightly frowning.
“Still, thank you. What is your name?” He asked her.
“It’s Selve the Dragon Outcast sadly.” She said to him.
“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Gold Hoof or you might of heard of the name… The Frozen Warrior.” He introduced himself.
As soon as she heard his name, her eyes go wide. “As in THE GOLD HOOF!? YOU’RE MY IDOL!”
“Yep, don’t wear it out.” He chuckles a bit.
“It is the tales that have been told in the Dragon Lands for as long as I can remember, that have made me the dragon I am today!” She has a big smile on her face.
“So, what brings you out here Selve?” He asked her again smiling.
“This is the place I come to when the other dragons bullying me get to be to much, its nice and peaceful here.” she sighs in content.
“So nothing much has changed around here.” He stated.
“Sadly most dragon think things like friends, are a source of weakness.” She stated with a bit of sadness.
“Those dragons who think that friends are a source of weakness is absolutely wrong, they don’t know how powerful friendship can be, you know what I mean.” He said with a big smile.
“I would, if I ever had a friend of my own. Sadly I don’t.” She said with a frown.
“Well, you do now.” He said to her.
“Wait what!? We just met, and you want to be my friend already!?” She asked in disbelief.
“You told me everything I needed to know, so I’ll be your friend.” He smiled bigger.
She started to tear up a bit. “THANK YOU! You have answered my prayers for a friend today.” she smiled wide.
He walks up to her and hugs her tightly, “You’re welcome Selve.” He smiled.
“Wait, did you feel that? Something is watching us.” She started to tense up.
“I do feel that Selve. Keep close to me.” He said as he prepared a spell.
“I’m not weak you know, do you think this sword on my back is for show?” She pulls out an elegant katana off her back and assumes a stance.
“I never said you were weak, I’m just saying keep close to me so we can be prepared!” He stated truthfully.
She nodded and sets herself close by, “There is three of them, I smell them.”
“Okay, be ready!” He said being prepared.
As if in response to us being ready, the three the dragon smelled came into view, and they were like nothing either of us had ever seen, one looks like a dragon like creature with gold colored claws with a scar on the left eye and has a shorter stature than the other two, for the lupine like creature, it had yellow fur with a white fur underbelly and white fluff with some purple sleeves on her arms and taller than the dragon like creature but not taller than the goblin like creature, for the goblin like creature, larger than the two has a green coloration and a big underbite. “Alright then, that is weird.”
“What are those?!” He said being surprised.
“Those two, they seem to be fighting the bigger one. Lets even those odds.” The dragoness charges at the green one.
“Hm? Oh lookie here, a small… pipsqueak of a dragon.” The green one said showing off his immense size to her.
“That’s what you think!” she swings her sword with all her power at the green one. To her shock it doesn’t seem to do much.
“Hey you two! We coordinate an attack, so we can take down this guy’s ugly mug!” said the dragon like creature
“With a team attack, we can end him for good! You with us?” said the kitsune like creature
“Yeah, that is a good idea. ALTOGETHER!” Gold Hoof said charging an attack spell.
She engulfs her blade in flames and readies herself. “On their mark.”
Gold Hoof is shining with his attack, “I agree.”
“BLACK PEPPER STRIKE!” He said using his primary move.
“DIAMOND STORM!” the other one said as it launched its attack. As soon as it did that selve quickly ran up to the green one and cut it with her flaming blade.
“Ow! That stung!” The green one said.
“Crap that didn’t do the deed!” The dragon said worried.
“Hehe, that actually stung, looks like this place isn’t where I should be. Lucky for you guys that you are not my mission. So goodbye losers!” He said running at a fast pace.
“Oh no you don’t!” Selve keeps attacking it over and over.
“I said… GOODBYE!” He punched her so hard that she crashed into a rock.
“OW! Even if it kills me, you are not getting away! You will do to much harm!” as Selve says that kitsune like creature is in slight awe of her will. “Even though she has no idea why she is fighting, she keeps fighting but why?”
“It is her code, her honor demands that he must be stopped before he does more damage.”Gold Hoof said to the kitsune like creature with a stoic look.
“Perhaps we can get along.” she says before running over to Selve. “Are you ok?”
“I’ll live but he is tough, if only we could stop him.” Selve replied back.
All of a sudden, as if that was enough. A strange device appeared in Selves clawed hands. “Whats this thing?” She asked.
“That… is a digivice.” The dragon like creature stated.
“A digivice? What does that mean?” She looked over it in awe.
“It is what helps us, the Digimon to evolve into a more powerful form.” He said to Selve.
“Alright then we must do what we can to stop this thing from completing its mission.” she feels something attached to her waist as wel. “Huh? What are these?”
“Those are modify cards, a tamer can use those to give their partner an edge in battle. Since you have that, I think you are are my tamer.” The kitsune like creature said to Selve
Then another Digivice appeared in Gold Hoof’s hoof, “Looks like I got a digivice too.”
Then the green looked at Gold Hoof, “Don’t even think of using that thing, it will bring nothing but grief.”
“Well let’s see what this card does!” she swipes a card quickly without looking.
“Speed activate.” Her digivice said on its screen and the fox starts to move a lot faster.
“What’s your name?” Gold Hoof asked the dragon like creature.
“My name is BlackAgumon.” He said to Gold Hoof.
Gold Hoof simply nodded and used his Modify Card that said Power Armor. “Digi Modify” Gold Hoof’s Digivice said as it boosted BlackAgumon’s defense.
“Oh yeah! That does the spot.” BlackAgumon smirks a bit.
“Now get him, uh what’s your name?” The dragoness asked her new partner.
“It’s Renamon.” She replied as she charges in.
“Renamon!” BlackAgumon said to Renamon.
“Right!” she starts her attack with a bit more vigor this time. “DIAMOND STORM!”
“Fire Twister!” He coated himself with his flames as he spinned towards the green one.
“Oh shit… I’m dead.” He stands in defeat as he is obliterated by the two attacks.
“Alright we did it!” Selve said smiling.
“Yes we did and who was that?” Gold Hoof asked.
“That was Ogremon, a digimon we have been tracking for quite some time. Just glad we finally got him down.” Renamon said.
“Yeah and it has been a long time since I fought. Give or take a thousand years.” BlackAgumon stated.
“Wait one THOUSAND years!?” Selve asked shocked. “How long can a Digimon live?”
“Well… for starters, a Digimon cannot truly die. And if I may ask, have you heard of the Equestrian legend of the Warrior of Equestria and the Demon of the Moon?” He asked Selve.
“Yes I have, but what does that have to do with you?” She asks.
“Well… I’m the Warrior of Equestria from the legend. And about the Demon of the Moon, his name is Devimon” He answered her.
“That sounds like a bad guy, am I wrong?” She asks him again.
“He is bad guy.” He answered her again.
“Well then, we need to tell the leaders of the ponies then, they will know what to do I just know it.” she said with determination.
“I hope you are right but if I know the nobles from that… uh… what place do we call it again Renamon?” He asks for her help.
“I believe the place is called Canterlot.” She told him.
“That’s right, thanks Rena.” He thanks her.
“No problem Black.” she replied back.
“So, what would be the quickest way to get there? Any thoughts?” Black asked them.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been frozen, so I wouldn’t know. What about you Selve?” He asked her.
“Our best bet is to head to a small town called Ponyville, then get a train from there.” Selve smiled.
“Oh, is that a new town in Equestria? That’s good that things got better in Equestria since I last seen it.” He said to them.
“It’s been around for about 600 years but ya things have got better, the ponies are in a four race alliance with the griffons, yaks, and minotaurs.” She said with a big smile.
“Wow, things have definitely got better for Equestria, that’s good and how’s Celestia and Luna been doing?” He asked Selve.
“They have been leading Equestria into a golden age, and things are looking up for Luna since your time, if the rumours I have heard are to be believed.” she said.
“That’s great! I can’t wait to see them again, it’s been AGES since I’ve seen them!” He said to Selve happily.
“Well we better warn them, it’s likely they could be targeted by whoever order Ogremon.” Selve said.
“Yes indeed, we better go.” He said to Selve, “And would you like join us Selve?” Gold Hoof asked her.
“Yes we should stick together, to be safe.” She replied.
“Good, let’s go.” Gold Hoof said to Selve before heading out.
She nods and both her and Renamon follow him to where Ponyville is and meet up with some ponies that greet them with open arms.
“Hello. Can you point us to the train station?” Selve asked.
“Oh it’s over there.” Twilight pointed to the train station, “And why is a dragon like you doing here?” She asked.
“We have news of grave importance that your leaders must hear as soon as possible.” Selve said.
“Okay, I hope you can get to make them believe you…” She said
“Wait a second, your Twilight Sparkle! Maybe you can send word ahead for us perhaps?” Selve asked.
“I’ll try, SPIKE!” She calls for Spike.
“I’m coming Twilight!” he said running to us.
“I need you to send a letter to Princess Celestia and Prince Luna sending word for them.” She points to us.
“Alright then, not the usual but can do. Tell me what you want to say.” he asked pointing to the pony in our group.
“Tell them an old friend is coming with a group consisting of… two warriors and a dragon.” He said to Spike, “And that is it.”
“Oh and mention that we know the truth of the demon of the moon.” Selve added.
“There we go, it’s all down.” Spike said then burn it with his fire breathe.
“Good and thank you Spike.” Gold Hoof said to Spike.
“You’re welcome, say while you are here can you perhaps help me with something?” Spike asked.
“What is it?” Gold Hoof asked.
“For some reason I feel like you might know about something I found, can you come with me please?” Spike asked.
“Sure I can, I’ll follow you.” Gold Hoof answered.
“I’ll come as well.” BlackAgumon answered too.
He leads them back to the library. “Come on in, its inside.”
They both go inside finding a Digiegg and BlackAgumon said, “That’s a digiegg! What is a digiegg doing here?!”
“Well a while back when the girls found the Elements I found this egg- wait why is it glowing!?” Spike said freaking out.
“Kid, that egg is about to hatch!” BlackAgumon said to Spike.
“Really!?” The egg starts to crack open.
“Yes it is kid!” BlackAgumon said to Spike again.
The egg cracks fully open.
“Heh, a new Digimon has been born.” BlackAgumon said.
From the egg a red dinosaur looking thing with bits of black and a strange symbol on its chest stands.
“What’s your name kid?” BlackAgumon asked the red dinosaur.
“It’s Guilmon I think?” He replied back.
“Welcome to Equestria, Guilmon.” BlackAgumon said as he smile gently.
“Equestriamon?” he asked cutely.
“Kid, you crack me up!” BlackAgumon said as he laughed heartily.
“What’s so funny?” he asked back confused.
“Been a while since I’ve laughed, so what is a Digimon like you doing here?” He asked Guilmon.
“Well all he can remember is being sent to this world as a egg, so no idea to be honest?” Guilmon said
“Hmm, that is strange… so you have no memory of how you got here… that’s question that needs to be answered later.” BlackAgumon stated, “So, how long have you been standing there, Renamon?”
“Only for a short while, have to make sure to stay on guard.” Renamon replied.
“That’s good thinking, keep on guard for any enemy Digimon that may be nearby.” He stated to Renamon.
“That’s the plan we need to keep our tamers safe.” she answered back.
“Hmm, Spike, have you heard of the legend of the Demon of the Moon?” BlackAgumon asked.
“That old ponies tale? Yes but what does that have anything to do with what’s going on right now?” Spike said.
“Well that old ponies tale… is completely true.” He said to Spike, “After all, I was there to see it happen.”
“Say what!? But the only ones there where the demon, the sisters, and-” Spikes eyes go wide as he realizes who this strange thing in front of him was. “Your the warrior in the legend aren’t you?”
BlackAgumon just simply nodded in response to Spike’s question.
“So what are you? What is he? Why me?” Spike asked him.
“I, the Demon of the Moon and Guilmon are Digimon.” He answered Spike’s question.
“Digimon? What’s that? Why did I get this with the egg?” Spike show him a digivice.
“A Digimon is a creature that is from a place known as the Digital World and what you are holding is a Digivice, it helps us evolve into 5 levels. What you see for me level is called the Rookie level, the next one is called Champion level, then after that is called the Ultimate Level, then comes Mega Level but the one above Mega is called Super Ultimate or you could call it the Ultra level.” He explained in great detail.
“Alright, but why did I get one?” Spike asked.
“Why? You are a Tamer, Spike.” He replied answering.
“Wait what’s a Tamer!?” Spike asks. “Tamer of what?”
“A Tamer is someone who has a Digimon. You have been given a great opportunity, Spike.” He explained again.
“I am important? YES! For once I am the one to go off on an adventure!” He smiled.
“But know this Spike, this will not be an easy path, it WILL be dangerous, do you understand?” BlackAgumon said to Spike.
“For so long, I have been on the sidelines, unable to help my friends, for them I will risk any danger!” Spike said with a fire in his eyes.
“That is what I needed to hear.” Black smiled at Spike.
“So then does that mean I should go with you?” he asked.
“It is very wise to come with us. For if you stay here, you will put a lot of innocent ponies in danger.”
“Then you can count on me! Just give me some time to gather up some things.” Spike heads to his room and starts gathering a few things.
“Spike, where are you going?” Twilight asked worriedly.
“I have to go with them, to stay means I put you all in danger. As I am like them, a digimon tamer.” He explains.
“What?! Are you serious? That means I’ll have to keep you away from all this! You can’t go with them, you’ll be in danger too!” Twilight said scared for Spike’s safety.
“No matter if I stay or go, I will be in danger but this way no one else gets caught in the crossfire! You have to see that!” he replied.
“But… I want you safe! I can’t lose you!” She said truly worried.
“I don’t want to lose you either, and that could happen if I stay! So please, for both our sakes, let me go!” Spike said with a tear going down his face.
“I’m afraid that I agree Ms Sparkle, he cannot stay here, for if he does, Ponyville will be destroyed.” BlackAgumon stated with care.
She hesitantly says, “O-okay… and Spike, promise me that you will be safe, okay?”
“On my pride, I will do everything I can to stay safe. That’s the best I can promise.” Spike states.
“Okay, Renamon, please keep an eye on him, please.” She says with tears coming down her face.
“We all shall, that is a promise.” Renamon said with a smile as Spike clips his cards and digivice to a belt, and grabs some gems.
“Thank you all for doing this.” She smiles a tiny bit.
“We won’t be the only ones watching him, that Guilmon will be his partner more likely than not, and do everything he can to keep Spike safe.” Renamon says.
She sighs in defeat, “Spike, be careful, okay? I may not know them but I trust them well enough to get you to the Princess’ castle.”
“I pinkie promise that I won’t go out of my way to get in trouble.” He does the motions.
“Selve!” BlackAgumon called for Selve.
“Yes my friend?” Selve asked.
“Spike will be coming with us, do you have any objections?” He said to her
“No not really, but-wait he is one of us isn’t he?” she asked.
“Yes he is one of us, Selve.” He answered her.
“Alright, then yes he needs to come with us. Plus he needs to learn things about being a dragon as well.” Selve smiles.
“Don’t be too rough on him, he is still young.” Gold Hoof stated.
“I won’t but these ponies have not known how to feed him right, he should be twice as tall as he is right now.” Selve said.
“What do you mean that we haven’t fed him right?” Twilight asks.
“You have likely only feed him gems and plants right?” Selve asked.
“Yeah? Why?” She asked again.
“To grow right, dragons need protein, in other words, meat.” Selve stated.
“O-oh… that makes sense…” She said with a bit of a scared tone.
“Its ok, you had no way to know, its ok, fish will do for that to be honest.” Selve tried to ease Twilights worries. “You have not caused him great harm, it would have just taken a LOT longer for him to grow is all.” Selve said
“Oh, that makes more sense.” She said more calmly.
“So for now, I will give him a small amount of fish, to help him get used to eating meat, and from there work with him as we travel.” Selve said.
“Good but like with Spike, all of you be careful…” She said to all of them.
“It won’t matter in my case, I have no one back home who would care if I died.” Selve starts to tear up.
“Don’t lie Selve, you do have someone does care about you, don’t they?” Gold Hoof asks.
“I am called the outcast for a reason, no one back in the Dragon Lands cares about friends, they think it’s a weakness to have one.” she sighed.
Gold Hoof sighed in defeat, “I’m sorry…”
“Its ok, it’s something I have learned to accept. There is not a lot one dragoness can do to change that.” Selve said sadly.
“Maybe you are not alone on this, there are may be others that feel the same way but we don’t know for certain.” Gold Hoof said trying to give her hope.
“Perhaps you are right, til I know for sure. I will stay safe.” she says with a small smile.
“But anyways, when is that letter coming?” Gold Hoof asked.
“If I know Celestia, about now.” Just as Spike said that, he burps up a letter.
“That’s good and what does it say?” Gold Hoof asked.
“She wants us to meet her and Luna in Canterlot.” Spike said.
“Good, let’s go.” Gold Hoof said as he and the others went to the train station and boarded the Canterlot Express Train.
As Selve boards the train, she gets a few odd looks from the ponies.
“Look elsewhere busybodies.” BlackAgumon said as other give him a blank stare.
“Its ok, its out of the ordinary for a dragon the be in pony lands.” Selve said making sure to simply sit down and enjoy the ride.
“Yeah… but for me…” Gold Hoof said as a few mares give him some flirtatious looks, “It’s the opposite…”
“Relax, they just like your looks, it’s not the same as with me.”
“You may not know this but when I became a part of the Royal Guard of Equestria, there were a lot of mares that… well, had more than an infatuation with me…” He said worriedly.
“It’s been a long time, odds are they don’t even know your name.” Selve mentioned.
“Wait til you get to… Canterlot… it has a history of remembering my name…” He said more worriedly.
“How much of a history?” BlackAgumon asked feeling wary of his Tamer.
“Let’s just say… you’ll find out very soon.” He said feeling a bit scared.
“Relax, is not like they will attack you on site.” Selve said.
“I’m not worried that, I’m more worried about the mares… they would drink me dry…” He said grimly
“Ok that's just silly, drink you dry of what?” Renamon asked.
“You don’t want to know…” His expression darkened.
“What he is saying is…” BlackAgumon told her what Gold Hoof was saying in a quiet whisper.
“WHAT!? You may not be my Tamer but if they so much as move wrong, I WILL END THEM!” Renamon says with massive rage.
“YIKES!” Gold Hoof yelped hiding behind a train seat.
“HEY! STOP SCARING MY TAMER!” BlackAgumon yelled at Renamon.
“I’m sorry I just get angry when people take advantage of others.” she replied back.
“Oh, thanks Renamon.” He said more calmly.
“Of course, you’re a friend.” she smiled.
“So, what are we all going to say to Celestia and Luna? What should we say? I have not seen them in a long time…” He said feeling nervous.
“We need to explain about the threat we face now.” Selve said.
“Yeah, we need to explain about the threat we now face, about Devimon.” He said with utter seriousness in his face.
“Yes we do, and fast, who is telling how long until they try to go after them.” Renamon added in.
“Agreed, though the demon lords are a big threat, none are bigger than Devimon…” He added more.
“For now, we need to relax.” Selve said.
“Yeah we all do need to relax for now.” Gold Hoof stated as he and the others sleep.
