In The Criminal Justice System.Sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous.In New York City.The dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as The Special Victims Unit.These are their stories.
Dun-Dun.
Two NYPD patrol officers were patroling late night in Central Park.They are both talking about the upcoming weekend.
One officer said,"So what are you and the wife gonna do for the weekend?"
The other officer replied,"Oh.She wants to go see this chick flick.Me I wanna see the new action movie."
His partner replied,If you don't wanna sleep on the couch.Better to take her to the chick flick.
Both officers laugh when they smell something.
The officer said,That smell like smoke to you??
The other officer said,it sure does.
Both officers drew their issued Glock 19 9mm pistols and flashlights and walked to the smell of smoke.They came up on some homeless men with a fire going and about to cut up what looked like a dead animal.
A little while later Lieutenant Olivia Benson and Sergeant Odafin "Fin"Tutuola arrived.Detectives Amanda Rollins and Dominick Carisi were already on scene.
Olivia asked,OK.So what do we have here?
Carisi replied,We have a dead Equestrian pony.About to be cut up and cooked by these homeless guys Rollins is talkin to.
Fin asked,So how do we know the dead pony is actually from Equestria??
Carisi said,Because.After the 2 patrolman call for ASPCA.They sent an Humane LEO.When he saw the cutie mark on the flank,That cinched it.Then we were called.
Rollins came up and said,Here's what we got.Those homeless guys said they found the pony already dead.So they thought since it was an animal.They said they were gonna cut her up for the meat.And cook it.
Benson walked up to the body being examined by ME Melinda Warner.And asked.So Melinda.What do you know at this point??
Warner replied,Well it's just a prelim,but it looks like her throat was slashed and she bled out.And it looks like she may have been raped.And sodomized repeatidly.I'll know more when I get her to my lab.
Just then Bensons smart phone rang and she answered,Lieutenant Benson.
While Benson was on the phone.Fin asked,So we got a pony that was being used for sex.And maybe tried to run,and was killed.Any chance these guys did the deed??
Rollins replied,I don't think so,but we should still get DNA swabs just in case.
Fin said,Get em in a van.And get them to the precient.And call CSU.
Just then Benson hung up and said,That was Hank Voight.
Fin asked,So what do our buddies in The Windy City have going??
Benson replied,He and the rest of his unit are on their way here.And he's, bringing some friends.It's part of an investigation into pony trafficking.And this pony maybe connected.I need to call The Chief of Ds.
Fin said,I'll arrainge for a bus to pick Voight and the others up.Where they comin into??
Olivia replied,Charter Terminal.At JFK.
