“I can’t believe Raiden left me with this babysitting job.” Liu Kang said to Shining Armor.

“Sorry, but I gotta stop that sword. You’re the only one I can trust to watch Flurry Heart.” Shining told the Shaolin monk. “Just try to not let anyone try to kill her.”

“Fine!” Liu said as Shining left. “So what do you wanna now?” he asked Flurry.

Just then, Sheeva burst into the library. “I say we play a game of fireball. Hand her over.”

“Never!” Liu screamed at the Shokan. After Sheeva was defeated, Liu told her, “Next time, keep fire away from Flurry Heart."

After a while, Flurry Heart fell asleep. Liu put her in a baby carrier.

After a while, Kung Lao came in and said to Liu, “You gotta help me! They’re trying to kill me and possibly Flurry Heart!” He said, leading his brother outside.

They saw Reptile, Noob Saibot, and Ermac heading towards the Crystal Empire. Reptile was the first to attack. He growled and said, “Looks like the baby could use a little acid in her bath.”

Liu defeated him and told the overgrown animal, “Acid is bad for the baby.”

Noob Saibot was next. Liu announced, “Stay away from her! She’s an alicorn!” Noob tried spamming his attacks, but Liu kept using fire parry. He looked at the shadow ninja and said, “You will give her nightmares for sure.”

Ermac said, “Woah, there’s no need to hurt us, we just wanna give her upsies.”

Liu defeated Ermac as well and said, “Flurry wouldn’t want upsies from you.”

Liu saw Gilda fighting two tarkatan warriors. Liu punched a hole in one of their stomachs, and Gilda pecked the other one’s eyes out. Gilda grabbed him by the hand and said, “Nice move buddy. Name’s Gilda.”

“Liu. Liu Kang.” The Shaolin monk introduced himself to the griffin. He gave Flurry Heart to Lao and said, “Can you watch over Flurry Heart for me? I got a date with a griffon.”

“Sure.” Kung Lao said.
