Intro: Protectors of the Earth
Chapter 8: Reality of War..
July 24, 2025 (July 24, 3824 AD Equestria time) (11:00 PM)
Just barely a day after the arrivals of El Tornado, Sierra Vigilant, Musketeer V, Pink Lion, Noisy Boy, and Azure Defiant, Tendo Choi who after getting himself a late night snack heard the Kaiju alert system blaring a warning which signaled the arrival of three Kaiju Category IV's: Leatherback and Otachi.
Meanwhile on the other hand far away, Newt having spent a good portion of the day earlier bringing the long-lost group of Jaegers back up to speed in the last five years they were gone was looking for the Kaiju Black Market Dealer Hannibal Chou.
"Okay now I have to look for the special mark." Newt said while looking around.
While he was looking around for a special emblem of Hannibal Chou, he went through various parts of the bone slums where he should find Hannibal Chou in question. Eventually he found the place and after getting in, he was not only looking at Kaiju specimens, but also the very rare Changeling Dragon pieces though by this point, very little were left.
Newt heard some footsteps behind him and by turning around, he was facing Hannibal Chou the Kaiju Black Market Dealer himself as the dealer was clad in a red suit.
While Newt was trying to negotiate with the Kaiju Black Market Dealer, the Rangers all were getting into their drivesuits for the coming battle.
"Okay, I want every civilian in a shelter and the city evacuated right away!" Marshall Stacker Pentecost shouted.
When the battle alarm blared, everyone got ready including the Rangers themselves as all of them suited up. Afterwards, they all assembled in the LOCENT Center as the Marshall then spoke.
"Here's the plan; Azure Defiant, Pink Lion, Sierra Vigilant and Phoenix Ronin will front-line the harbor's defense, Crimson Typhoon, Musketeer V, Striker Eureka and Noisy Boy will form the secondary and last line of defense to guard the city. Cherno Alpha, El Tornado and Gypsy Danger will remain on standby in the Shatterdome ready to deploy at a moment’s notice just in case. Any questions?"
Seeing that no one answered or objected as the Rangers all nodded in agreement to the battleplan, Marshall Stacker Pentecost then spoke again.
"Alright then, let's move out!!"
Crimson Typhoon, Noisy Boy, Pink Lion, and Azure Defiant were lifted out of the Shatterdome while Phoenix Ronin took off while Sierra Vigilant, Striker Eureka, and Musketeer V moved out one by one. The Jaegers formed a defense line in front of the Shatterdome while the others got to their positions including Striker Eureka who walked to its spot.
"This is Striker moving into position…" Herc said.
"Guys, be careful as these Kaiju Category IV's are the biggest ones, we've seen both in size and weight." Marshall Stacker Pentecost said calmly.
Then Jasmine Tudor spoke, "This is Pink Lion, disengaging transport."
The pink British Jaeger then disconnected from its transport as Phoenix Ronin landed next to it while the other Jaegers that were lifted by air did the same. At first, nothing was seen though that was about to change as something went pass them.
"Wait, I see something…" Vanoss said.
Then Noisy Boy fired at a random spot of the water which caused Otachi to come out from the water showing herself to the Jaegers which it tail whipped Noisy Boy and Crimson Typhoon which Phoenix Ronin and Azure Defiant got in on the act as they all shouted one thing.
"Take this!"
The Philippians Jaeger launched a punch on the Kaiju which Noisy Boy followed up with a right upper cut punch as its pilots put on some music from Eminem called "Until I collapse" which the two Jaegers started to go all Spartan on it.
Leatherback tried to sneak up on Noisy Boy which Phoenix Ronin saw that move and delivered a football tackle which with Crimson Typhoon joining on the fun, they started to punch the crap out of the Kaiju.
Pink Lion was about to move to either one of the Kaiju, but then the Kaiju Otachi called for help as everyone heard another Kaiju roared onto the scene and everyone at the Shatterdome saw it.
“New signature! Kaiju! Category IV! Codename, Grievous…” Tendo Choi said grimly.
Seconds later, a new Kaiju appeared at it was ugly, it looked like an unholy cross fusion between Leatherback and Otachi as it then roared onto the scene.
Before anyone could think, Musketeer V rashly raced to it much to the shock of everyone as Marshall Stacker Pentecost quickly shouted to the impulsive Jaeger.
“Musketeer V! Fall back! You don’t know what it can do! That’s an order!”
“Piss off Marshall! We’ve got this!” Marcus Cruz shouted.
The French Jaeger then raised its left arm intending on firing it’s plasmacaster gun, but the Kaiju were not going to have any of that as Leatherback managed to dive underwater and then, knock both Phoenix Ronin and Azure Defiant away with a quick set of punches.
Seconds later, it then tackled the French Jaeger from behind knocking it off balance. Both French Rangers tried to get their bearings together when things got worse.
Otachi on the other hand sprayed acid forcing Noisy Boy and Crimson Typhoon back as both barely dodged the spray as then, it dove under Musketeer V and sent it on its back.
The French Jaeger just barely managed to get up when suddenly, Grievous punched it before reveling it had four arms as it used its first set to hold the arms of the Jaeger in place.
Seconds later, its secondary arms ripped the arms off the Jaeger leaving it defenseless as Leatherback jumped up and kept pounding at the Conn-pod before Otachi sprayed acid on it weakening the machine.
Before any Jaeger including Striker Eureka and Phoenix Ronin could get to the stricken Jaeger, Leatherback pulled the Jaeger backwards filling the Conn-Pod with water as Grievous then stepped on the Conn-Pod killing the pilots before stepping on the power core destroying the Jaeger.
“Musketeer V….is lost….” Tendo Choi said.
Grievous and Leatherback then punched Phoenix Ronin and Striker Eureka away just as the Jaegers arrived on scene too late to save Musketeer V.
Otachi then dived and reemerged from the water and was about to spray acid on Sierra Vigilant, but then Pink Lion pushed the Canadian Jaeger away taking the blow though it ended up weakening the UK Jaeger as part of the Conn-pod was exposed.
Before Crimson Typhoon or anyone else could reach them, it was too late as Otachi used its tail to stab the head of Pink Lion and rip it off its body causing the rest of the Jaeger to fall into Hong Kong Harbor.
“Pink Lion’s been lost!” Tendo Choi shouted.
Seconds later, Leatherback unleashed an EMP pulse that crippled the Jaegers Striker Eureka, Crimson Typhoon, Azure Defiant, Noisy Boy, Sierra Vigilant, and even Phoenix Ronin.
The blast also hit the Shatterdome as well which inside the Jaegers, all of the Rangers felt the pain of the shock as their Jaegers shut down as seconds later, Grievous fled the area while Otachi headed off to another part of the city.
Inside Phoenix Ronin, Twilight and Flash knew that with Leatherback staying behind, they were all sitting ducks unless they did something to stop the Kaiju that Flash suggested; fire flare guns at Leatherback to distract it.
"Are you nuts?!" Twilight shouted.
"Either we sit here and do nothing or do something really dumb and stupid to save our fellow Jaegers!" Flash shouted seconds later.
Both Rangers grabbed the flare guns which the pilots of Striker Eureka, Noisy Boy, Crimson Typhoon, Sierra Vigilant, and Azure Defiant did the same coincidentally which all of them were soon on the tops of their respective Conn-Pods which Chuck got Leatherback's attention.
"Hey ugly!" Chuck shouted.
Then all fired their flare guns at the Kaiju which Striker Eureka's pilots or Rangers went first before the others followed suit which distracted the Kaiju as it roared in pain.
“I think we pissed it off!” Chuck shouted.
“YOU THINK?!” Twilight shouted seconds later.
However, before the Kaiju could retaliate, everyone heard a loud noise as when the Kaiju turned around, it was Gypsy Danger, El Tornado and Cherno Alpha arriving on the scene to relive the stuck Rangers.
While Gypsy Danger started to fight Leatherback, both El Tornado and Cherno Alpha went to help the other Jaegers including Crimson Typhoon and Azure Defiant that were affected by the earlier EMP attack.
Meanwhile, Noisy Boy was able to get back online thanks to the creative ingenuity of its Rangers which they noticed El Tornado was starting to look for Otachi which the Jaeger saw as then, the Mexican Jaeger came to its side.
"You amigos okay?" Bianca Del Toro asked.
"Yeah and-"
Vanoss didn't finish when he spotted something on the Hong Kong port docks that made him shout in anger at the destruction that they had found via their cameras.
"What the hell?! GTA V games destroyed!?! Oh, it's on now! Want to join?"
"We'd be honored amigo!" Jasmine Del Toro shouted.
The two Jaegers spotted a pair of vacant cargo ships and Marina Del Toro spoke a very crazy, yet fun idea to give the Kaiju some punishment for the loss of two Jaegers.
"I got idea amigos!"
Meanwhile Gypsy Danger was fighting Leatherback which it was then knocked down by Leatherback before a shot pushed it back making the American Jaeger look up and see who saved them: Phoenix Ronin with its Rail Canon Pistol smoking.
"How?" Raleigh asked.
"Fight the Kaiju now! Talk later!" Twilight shouted.
"She means we got our Jaeger back online with magic and quick engineering working BS!" Flash shouted.
Both Jaegers tagged teamed the Kaiju which Phoenix Ronin started to punch the Kaiju repeatedly before Gypsy Danger appeared and using shipping containers as additional weight delivered more pain to the Kaiju.
Gypsy Danger then grappled the Kaiju from behind and started to lift it up while Phoenix Ronin helped by grabbing the Kaiju's short legs which both Jaegers tossed the Kaiju away which the Kaiju roared before charging at them.
Both Jaegers together were trying to push the Kaiju back before both started to use their respective Plasma Cannons which was Gypsy's right cannon while Phoenix was its left.
Eventually, Leatherback lost both of its arms before it fell dead though both Jaegers fired their other Plasma Cannons to ensure it was dead before starting to head back to the Shatterdome.
Meanwhile, Newt hiding in a shelter that was forced into as Hannibal Chou hid in his own shelter realized that the shelter, he was in was a buffet for the Kaiju.
Seconds later, Otachi broke open the shelter and before it could do anything, El Tornado and Noisy Boy got its attention via fog horns which the Kaiju saw the two Jaegers dragging each a cargo ship towards itself.
"It's been sometime since we had a one of our crazy and awesome ideas!" H20 Delirious said.
"That's right amigos!" Lily Del Toro shouted.
Both Jaegers swung their respective cargo ship and started to smack the Kaiju silly before Otachi used its tail to yank away Noisy Boy's cargo ship before using an acid attack on El Tornado's making the Jaeger dodge, but barely though as it destroyed it’s cargo ship it was using to save the Jaeger from the acid attack.
Otachi tired stabbing the Jaegers with its tail, but Noisy Boy caught it before ripping a chuck of it off which was the tail in which El Tornado then followed up by ripping the acid sack out the Kaiju's mouth.
Then both Jaegers then punched the Kaiju away through an empty office building before El Tornado grabbed what was left of its tail and using its upper arms to hold it in place, used its lower arms in chainsaw mode to rip the rest of the tail off as seconds later, they grabbed a neon shoe sign and smacked it silly to render it unable to move for a little bit.
"The bastardo is all yours amigos!" Marina Del Toro shouted.
"Right! Time to introduce this bastard to the PAIN REVOLUTIONARY UPPER CUT AND ZERO GRAVITY PUNCH COMBO!!!" H20 Delirious shouted.
Noisy Boy then unleashed pure hell on the Kaiju by smacking it up silly in which Otachi badly weakened tried to fly away from the danger, but El Tornado shot holes in its wings to keep it from escaping allowing Noisy Boy to deliver the final death blow.
"Time to end this!" H20 Delirious shouted.
"Firing Right Arm Rocket Punch!" Vanoss shouted seconds later.
Noisy Boy fired a powerful explosive warhead from its lower right arm that flew into the Kaiju's mouth as then, Vanoss spoke a cheesy one-liner.
"Self-Destructing the warhead and hey Otachi, yipe Kai yeah you bastard!"
The explosive warhead detonated destroying most of Otachi's head like a pinata killing the Kaiju for good which the two Jaegers walked away from the carnage.
Meanwhile, Hannibal Chou after emerging from his shelter with his crew saw the carnage that the four Jaegers caused and just as he was about to mobilize his crew to start harvesting starting with Otachi, Newt appeared.
"I'm back and you have a Kaiju Brain to get for me!" Newt shouted.
As the Jaegers were getting back to the Shatterdome, Hannibal Chou's crew were starting to get to work on harvesting Otachi as Newt stood by impatient at what he hoped was a Kaiju brain.
He walked up to the Kaiju Black Market dealer as he was shouting orders on harvesting the Kaiju before mentioning of sending a separate crew to secure Leatherback's remains.
"So, where's the brain?" Newt asked.
Hannibal Chou looked at Newt and replied, "Are you bloody stupid or what? That Kaiju got its head blown apart like a balloon! I even doubt there's an intact brain with Leatherback and-"
The Kaiju Black Market Dealer didn't finish when something erupted from Otachi; a small Kaiju though it had a cord wrapped around its neck which caused everyone to freak out and start running though Newt tripped and fell a bit before he tried to run again.
"Sorry you're on your own!" Hannibal Chou shouted.
The baby Kaiju then stopped suddenly much to the puzzlement of Newt which Hannibal Chou casually walked up to the supposedly dead Kaiju looked at it before turning his attention back to Newt while everyone else resumed what they were doing beforehand.
"What the......" Newt said.
Hannibal Chou snorted and spoke, "Wasn't scared that much, lungs weren't fully formed and with that cord wrapped around its neck, that Kaiju wouldn't have lived for more than one minute. One look is all I need."
The Kaiju Black Market Dealer then pulled out a butterfly knife and threw it at the Kaiju’s nose before pulling it away and spoke again to Newt.
"What I tell you, I-"
The baby Kaiju woke up suddenly and swallowed the Kaiju Black Market Dealer before he was finished alive while everyone else just watched including Newt. Seconds later, the PPDC scientist then saw an opportunity for a Kaiju brain that he knew that he wasn't going to waste because of what information was needed.
"Now's my chance that I need!" Newt shouted.
Meanwhile while Newt called for the gear he needed to try and drift with a Kaiju brain, back at the Shatterdome everyone was trying to go and get the other EMP-effected Jaegers back online fully just as Phoenix Ronin, Noisy Boy, El Tornado, and Gypsy Danger returned.
Just as Noisy Boy got a new arm attached with some help from Phoenix Ronin and Gypsy Danger when Tendo Choi spoke up to everyone who had their radios still on to the sound of his voice not affected by Leatherback's EMP Pulse attack.
"Guys! The Kaiju Alert system has picked up five Kaiju's! Grievous is among them!" Tendo Choi shouted.
"Which ones?" Marshall Stacker Pentecost asked.
Tendo Choi then spoke, "Hardship and Trespasser both Category I's, one category II Obibaba, and one Category III............Knifehead…"
"Where are they heading?" Marshall Stacker Pentecost asked.
"Sir......they're....heading for Equestria.....as I now know where that other Kaiju went that was with Leatherback and Otachi...." Tendo Choi said.
"Can we contact them about the Kaijus coming their way?" Marshall Stacker Pentecost asked with concern.
Tendo Choi shook his head that told Flash and Twilight it was a no. Both were a bit torn as one hand, Equestria deserved it for unjustly banishing them, but on the other, it was horrible as Tendo Choi then spoke.
"No sir, the communications are still being repaired from Leatherback's EMP attack which by the time they're fixed; half of Equestria could be destroyed. On top of that, we’ve lost two Jaegers and we’re going to see if they’re still alive or not…"
"This can't be happening because this has never happened before…" Raleigh said.
Flash nodded and spoke, "Must be a scout team looking for more areas to exterminate for their masters."
"Send Phoenix Ronin, El Tornado, Gypsy Danger, Cherno Alpha, and Noisy Boy right away!" Marshall Stacker Pentecost shouted.
"Hey! What about us Marshall?!" Chuck asked.
"We need half of the Jaegers to stay here if there's a second attack on Hong Kong sorry, but Sierra, Azure, Crimson, and Striker you'll have to sit this one out today as we’ve already lost two Jaegers today that we had just gotten back only to lose them." Marshall Stacker Pentecost said grimly.
Transports secured Noisy Boy and Cherno Alpha as Gypsy Danger and El Tornado hitched a ride on Phoenix Ronin. The Jaegers then hurried as fast as they could towards Equestria before it was too late as the Hong Kong Shatterdome and the other Jaegers worked to fix the EMP damage done by Leatherback.
In Equestria on the other hand, things weren't looking good as despite all of the tricks in the book were being used, all of them were proving nearly ineffective against the five Kaiju attacking as they had already destroyed the forces belonging to a tyrant called the Storm King.
While some were fighting the beasts, others worked to evacuate the citizens from the danger zone. The Royal Guards and the Wonderbolts were trying their best, but they weren't faring much better while on the ground, Trixie tired to help out with a spell.
"Hold on Spike I'm going to use a spell to help you and Pyoro so you both can fight these monsters…" Trixie said.
"Okay." Spike said while nodding.
Trespasser, the Category I Kaiju looked at Spike which it roared before charging them. The dragon tried to land punches on the Kaiju, but they did very little damage to the Kaiju.
Spike on the other hand bleached fire at Trespasser who then saw the Kaiju was only blackened slightly and only further angered the Kaiju greatly.
The Kaiju along with Obibaba then rammed the enhanced dragon and started to hurt him. Spike was being brutally pounded by the Kaiju and moments later was pinned to a solid rock wall below Canterlot Castle as the Kaiju were ready to go in for the kill as Grievous was getting into position.
"Spikey Wikey NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rarity shouted.
Rarity tried to fight against the Kaiju monsters hurting Spike, but it looked like all hope was lost until a load foghorn sound got everyone's attention as cavalry had arrived in the form of the PPDC Jaegers.
Gypsy Danger jumped off Phoenix Ronin while El Tornado leapt off and landed. Phoenix Ronin transformed back into Jaeger mode as Noisy Boy and Cherno Alpha landed on either side of the Mark 6 Jaeger.
“Alright everyone, let’s not get cocky and let’s save this land from the Kaiju!” Twilight shouted.
After that was said, the Kaiju left Spike alone and charged the Jaeger team prompting Gypsy Danger to go after Knifehead while El Tornado went for Obibaba.
Cherno Alpha went straight for Hardship as Phoenix Ronin came in and tackled Grievous while Noisy Boy came in and using its KSG Shotgun managed to get Trespasser's attention allowing Spike to get away for medical treatment.
"Time to cue some music." H20 Delirious said seconds later.
On the ground, the members of Flash's old Royal Guard team saw Phoenix Ronin fight Grievous. After seeing that everyone was tagged with a Kaiju, Flash did the one thing that Twilight thought he'd never do: contact the forces in the area with the help of magic.
"Attention all Equestria forces, get all wounded and injured away as the Jaegers will take care of this from here on out over," said Flash.
Phoenix Ronin then went after Grievous with its anti-Kaiju katana deployed and went after the Kaiju while both its pilots roared like charging Spartans. The Kaiju tried to take a swipe at the Mark 6 Jaeger, but the Jaeger dodged out of the way and sliced off the left arm.
It then grabbed its anti-Kaiju Naginata staff weapon and moving carefully, it gouged out the eyes of the Kaiju and it’s secondary left arm making it roar in pain.
Seconds later, the Jaeger pulled out its anti-Kaiju Rail Cannon Pistol and took a shot at its head destroying the first brain before destroying the secondary Kaiju brain with its Plasma Cannons which for the first time for the Equestria forces seeing the action, saw a Kaiju fall down dead.
"What was that?" Trixie asked in disbelief.
El Tornado on the other hand was boxing literally with Obibaba as Gypsy Danger was avoiding the strikes from Knifehead in which everyone watching saw Phoenix Ronin fly into the air and deliver firing support with its guns.
Everyone watching got a good look at the four Jaegers fighting off the Kaiju which while Trixie's group recognized two of them, the other two were a mystery including the four-armed Jaeger.
Inside Phoenix Ronin Twilight spoke, "Alright you Kaiju freaks! Equestria may no longer by my home or Flash's home, but I will not let any more people die! Too many have died from you monsters including Raleigh's brother! Time to show these Kaiju some pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Right away!" Flash shouted.
El Tornado using its arms managed to hold the claws of Obibaba up allowing for Phoenix Ronin to dive in for a high flying attack as everyone who was watching looked on in awe and admiration as the tide of the battle was turning in their favor.
"Die you monster!" Twilight and Flash shouted together.
The anti-Kaiju Tanto dagger found itself imbedded within the Kaiju's first brain before the Jaeger pulled it out and deploying its sword arm blades to cut up the underbelly allowing the El Tornado to finish the job which the Mexican Mark 2 Jaeger proceed to shoot up the Kaiju's neck allowing its head to fall off which the Jaeger crushed the head like a melon. Nearby, the others watching were stunned that two Kaiju were now down and out.
"Now that's what I call taking care of business!" Soarin shouted.
"Less talking and more getting the citizens away from the war zone!" Spitfire shouted seconds later.
On the other hand, Cherno Alpha was busy dealing with Hardship, the very same Kaiju Romeo Blue fought years ago. The Russian Jaeger was busy keeping the Kaiju away from Ponyville while the civilians got away.
The Kaiju made the mistake of trying to grab the Turbine Incinerators to crush them as suddenly, they turned on and roasted the little hands off.
“No touching Cherno like that!” Sasha shouted.
The Kaiju tried to bite the Russian Jaeger, but then it delivered a right upper cut knocking it back a bit. Thanks to the design, the Kaiju had a hard time hitting the conn-pod of the Russian Jaeger.
Then, the Russians saw a nasty-looking set of rock spikes in a canyon nearby and formed an idea. After a quick left-upper cut punch to the Kaiju to stun it, the Russian Jaeger muscled with great force shoved the Kaiju onto the sharp rock spikes.
The result was the Kaiju getting stabbed through the heart, the neck, lower jaw and the primary brain. The Kaju roared in pain as it bleed out in the canyon. Just a second later, the Russian Jaeger jumped on the Kaiju to further drive the spikes in its back paralyzing the Kaiju before putting one of the feet of the Jaeger on the Kaiju and activating the foot spike driving it into the secondary brain.
Just as the Russian Jaeger was starting to leave, it paused for a quick minute before it then unleashed its Turbine Incinerators on the Kaiju’s head before following it up with the Tesla Fists that resulted in the Kaiju’s head being crushed like an egg shell.
“Don’t mess with Mother Russia….Kaiju scum…” Sasha said calmly.
Meanwhile, Gypsy Danger after wounding Knifehead, but barely due to its head as El Tornado and Phoenix Ronin appeared which El Tornado ran forward and held up the Kaiju's head while Phoenix Ronin sliced the ankles of the Kaiju allowing Gypsy Danger to deliver a stab Raleigh wanted to deliver for years to that Kaiju.
"This is for my brother Yancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Raleigh shouted.
Gypsy Danger's chain-sword was able to cut a deep slice into the Kaiju which the Mark 3 American Jaeger simply ripped the head off killing the Kaiju for good as it went towards Noisy Boy to see if it needed help along with Phoenix Ronin and El Tornado. Seeing the four Jaegers, H20 Delirious contacted them.
"You three might want to sit this one out as besides, you guys need a quick rest break.”
Cherno Alpha on the other hand got out of the canyon it was in thanks to Phoenix Ronin transforming into flight mode and fishing it out. Despite the fact that they wanted to kill another Kajiu, the Russian Rangers reluctantly agreed to H20 Delirous’ request.
Noisy Boy saw the Kaiju and got its attention by blasting its loud fog horn at it which the Kaiju then looked at the Jaeger calling it out. Then the Kaiju ceased its attack and went straight to the Mark 4 Japanese Jaeger in which everyone was cleared away for the upcoming fight.
Then H20 Delirious spoke, "All right ladies and gentlemen! In one side of the ring is the Kaiju Trespasser! In the other part of the ring is the Jaeger from Japan, the Mark 4 Jaeger thought lost, but is now found again! Make some noise for Noisy Boy!!!!!!!!!"
Vanoss then spoke, "Let's roll......"
Seconds later as the Jaeger Noisy Boy danced its way to the Kaiju while playing some music, Soarin nearby spoke to ask one very simple question for everyone.
"What the is that robot doing?"
"Just losing its mind…" Spitfire said with a snark.
Nearby in Phoenix Ronin Twilight spoke, "When we get back, I'm going to have a shot of Vodka."
"Easy now, we need to focus because after this match we're going to be doing something big and last time you drank I had to carry your ass back to the hotel we were staying at in Japan once…" Flash said.
As the two challengers stared each other down, Derpy all of a sudden and without a very clear, rational explanation appeared suddenly and spoke as Noisy Boy flexed its robotic limbs.
"Ready......set...GO!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Let's go get him!!!!!!" Vanoss shouted.
In the blink of an eye, Noisy Boy ran towards the Kaiju like a horse out of the Kentucky Derby which H20 Delirious spoke an attack against the Kaiju.
"Right Scimitar Cut!!!!!"
The Mark 4 Japanese Jaeger delivered a serious punch knocking the Kaiju Trespasser off-balance which the Kaiju regained its bearings and tried to claw at the Jaeger, but Noisy Boy saw it coming at blocked the claw strikes against itself.
"Reverse punch bitch!!!" Vanoss and H20 Delirious shouted together.
The Jaeger delivered another devastating punch to the face of Trespasser distorting the Kaiju's focus which the Jaeger followed it up with a series of rapid-fire punches to the Kaiju further making it dizzy.
This ended up giving the Kaiju a serious case of ass-whopping which the Kaiju tried to once again attack the offending Jaeger, but it wasn't happening thanks to the Jaeger countering the attacks with ease. Noisy Boy then was able to deliver a right upper cut punch sending the Kaiju down to the ground.
"Spear and back step!!!!" Vanoss and H20 Delirious shouted at once.
The Mark 4 Japanese Jaeger delivered a serious of attacks on the Kaiju before backing up as the Kaiju Trespasser got back up despite being more injured than before when it first arrived in Equestria with its Kaiju brethren.
Vanoss spoke, "Back step! Three punch combos left! Right! Left!"
"Gravity Zero Punch!" H20 Delirious shouted.
These attacks together delivered more pain to the Kaiju Trespasser than before which caused the Kaiju to fall back down once again while everyone else including the other Jaegers watched as the evacuated and the injured watched as the Kaiju was getting its ass handed to it on a silver plate.
"Now that's what I call Major Pain…" Rainbow Dash said nearby.
Trespasser got back up despite its shape and charged forward towards Noisy Boy and was able to smack the head leaving a slight dent in the Conn-pod which inside of it, both Rangers took notice of that and knew they had to step up their game.
"Crap!" H20 Delirious shouted.
"I got this; Pain Revolutionary Uppercut!" Vanoss shouted calmly.
That devastating attack caused Trespasser to stumble on backwards from the Jaeger a bit as it barely was hanging on to which H20 Delirious then spoke.
"Vibrator Punch!!!!!!"
As Trespasser fell down, Noisy Boy's fists started to shake rapidly which the Jaeger then ran forward and unleashed a pounding session that made some including Princess Celestia jaw-drop at the brutal display of power being shown. Noisy Boy stopped its assault and took a few steps backwards.
"Time to end this with the Noisy Boy special." Vanoss said.
"Let's do this buddy…" H20 Delirious said calmly.
Both Rangers took a quick, calming deep breath to quickly focus and to help them end the battle to save Equestria from the Kaiju attack as a second later, both rangers spoke.
"Finisher move!! Ten Punch Combo with Vibrating Punch! Pain Revolutionary Uppercut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Noisy Boy then punched Trespasser 10 times in a rapid-fire action on every part of the Kaiju which made it fall downwards for the last time. Then, Noisy Boy kept punching the Kaiju with its vibrating fists before finishing the Kaiju off with a right uppercut punch that knocked the Kaiju's head right off killing it for good.
When it was all said and done, the Kaiju attacking Equestria lost and the Jaegers won the battle. Anyone who hid or were being treated for injuries came out to see the massive Jaegers standing around.
"Well now looks like round 2 won't happen! Winner Noisy Boy!" Derpy shouted.
"Holy crap…" Rainbow Dash said.
"Now that's what I ah' call a brutal display of power!" Applejack shouted.
Fluttershy looked at the carnage and spoke, "Normally I'm against the killing of animals, but I'll let this slide."
"I just hope Spiky Wikey is okay…" Rarity said with worry.
The Jaegers on the other hand looked around before just they were about to leave, Phoenix Ronin walked forward where a bunch of people and ponies were watching it wondering why the Jaeger was coming towards them. Then the Jaeger started to power down as in Gypsy Danger, Mako became alarmed at what the Jaeger was trying to do.
"What are they doing?!" Bianca Del Toro asked.
"Looks like the Ranger Flash wants to check to see if everyone is okay…" Raleigh said.
Then from the ground, the crowds saw the Samurai-looking Jaeger had a hatch open on the top of its head as a lone figure stepped out followed by another one to stand on the head.
They then saw one of them took off its helmet which showed the face of Flash Sentry looking around for a bit as seconds later, he put his helmet back on and climbed back into the Jaeger.
Just as the crowd figured out the other one was Twilight Sparkle, the exiled mare in question also climbed back into the Jaeger which the Rangers powered up the Jaeger again and then they started to leave with the other Jaegers one by one with Phoenix Ronin being the last one as it looked at what was left of the warriors who tried to defeat the Kaiju.
Flash signed a bit before transforming the Jaeger into eagle mode and letting El Tornado and Gypsy Danger ride along while the transports that came with them picked up Noisy Boy along with Cherno Alpha and all of the Jaegers left.
"Time to head back and celebrate…" Vanoss said.
"Just make sure Twilight stays away from the alcohol as Twilight can't handle her booze well." Flash said with a dorky grin.
"Hey now!" Twilight shouted.
Vanoss then and spoke, "Let me guess, she got so drunk that she acted all strange and such."
"Yeah one time she teleported right into stalls where the Russians were showering at! It was embarrassing!" Raleigh shouted.
“Not funny for my wife and I….” Alexis said with slight anger.
"Or when she was so drunk that she collapsed face first onto Flash's crotch while he was napping making look like she was giving him a blowjob!!!!!" Mako shouted while trying not to laugh.
Twilight turned a shade of deep red and spoke, "Hey! In both of those incidents I didn't know what I was thinking!"
“Right…” Mako said with sarcasm.
Raleigh, Mako, H20 Delirious, Vanoss, Flash, the Rangers of Cherno Alpha and the Rangers of El Tornado laughed at this before they left for the Shatterdome. Then, suddenly their radios blared to life from the Shatterdome and it was Tendo Choi.
“Gypsy! Tornado! Noisy! Phoenix! Cherno! Another Kaiju is heading to Equestria!”
“Which one?” Twilight asked.
Then Tendo Choi spoke with dread, “A Category IV codenamed Mystique or another one is heading to you guys but looks like this one’s stronger.”
“Crap!” Raleigh shouted.
Seconds later, a loud roar echoed and coming not far from Ponyville was Leatherback, but it looked more armored and more mobile much like that of a chimpanzee prompting Gypsy Danger and El Tornado to get off so Phoenix Ronin could transform back into Jaeger mode.
Before anyone could react, the Kaiju ran forward and knocked down Gypsy Danger before it then jumped to do the same to El Tornado, Cherno Aplha and Noisy Boy.
When the Kaiju reached Phoenix Ronin, it grabbed the mech with its claws in its claws before it reveled another feature; wings which were four in total.
“What the hell?” asked Maria Del Toro.
“Looks like Leatherback and Otachi had a baby and is it ugly!” said Vanoss.
Then, the Kaiju began to carry the Jaeger holding Flash and Twilight upwards towards the sky intending on dropping it so the mech could be damaged as it would then make destroying the Jaeger much easier.
Inside Flash shouted, “We need to break free!”
But then, the Kaiju showed up another surprise as another pair of arms kept the Jaeger from using its arm weapons and its accessories that it had on it including the anti-Kaiju Katana.
“Can’t we shoot it down?” Lily Del Toro asked.
“We can’t the Jaegers wouldn’t hit it! We-“
Mako’s talk was interrupted by a trio of Alicorns flying up to it who were none other than princesses Cadence, Luna and Celestia as together, they fired a magical beam into the Kaiju’s eyes blinding it for a bit.
“WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!” Celestia shouted.
Inside the Conn-pod, Flash nodded as the Jaeger activated its right arm blade before it whipped it around and drove it right into the chest of the Kaiju causing it to let go of the Jaeger.
The duo weren’t done yet as they grabbed the Kaiju to get a bit distance upwards before they then unleashed the anti-Kaiju Katana on its wings before blowing its brains out with the rail gun pistol killing it before their Jaeger started to fall back down. The Alicorn trio followed quickly.
Gypsy Danger, El Tornado, Cherno Alpha and Noisy Boy cheered, but stopped as the Jaeger wasn’t slowing down as it fell with the Kaiju which Mako contacted the Jaeger.
“Phoenix! Slow down! You’re coming in too fast!” Mako shouted.
Inside the Conn-Pod Twilight was trying to do just that, Flash was a bit confused of why the Royal Sisters would help them, but decided to think about it later as soon enough, he was able to help Twilight as the Jaeger soon was able to slow down if not to make a rough landing outside of Ponyville.
The landing kicked up a huge cloud of dust that kept everyone from finding out if the Jaeger made it or not, Seconds later, movement emerged, and it was the Jaeger Phoenix Ronin.
The Jaeger stood up, transformed into its flight mode, and picked up El Tornado and Gypsy Danger before flying back to the Shatterdome with Noisy Boy and Cherno Alpha following behind seconds later via the helicopters it came in.
While the Jaegers were returning to the Shatterdome in a somber mood, Princess Celestia was confronted by Shining Armor, her sister Luna and Cadence while the cleanup work was underway.
"Celestia, this should more than merit the return and pardons of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry…" Princess Luna said sternly
Cadence nodded and spoke, "I agree with Princess Luna here, if those Jaegers hadn't shown up more would've been lost."
"I thou agree, for it'd be thou art wise to invest in our own Jaeger programs should these Kaiju monsters try to return!" Princess Luna shouted.
Then Shining Armor spoke, "Your highnesses, we should follow them and see if we can acquire a couple of Jaegers to study and repair until our own Jaegers are ready."
"Fine......I…uh.....we......agree…" Princess Celestia said with shame.
While the Jaegers returned to the Hong Kong Shatterdome via the portal that let the Kaiju in as well, the Princesses were making preparations to visit the Hong Kong Shatterdome to finally at long last as many wanted for half a year for one thing to happen: the pardons and returns of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry.
Soon the users of the Elements of Harmony appeared asking the same thing to come to the Shatterdome but were denied because of the last stunt that happened there before.
Back at the Shatterdome, the Jaegers who went to Equestria all returned which Flash was the last to leave his Jaeger before as before long, cheering members of the Shatterdome greeted them.
“Good job there mates…” Herc said.
Then the cheers got cut short as Marshall Stacker Pentecost soon appeared. The minute he appeared; everyone went dead silent as the leader of the PPDC spoke.
“That was a tough battle everyone and good job to those who won the fight. But as tough as it is to see, we lost two Jaeger teams today just barely after we got several of them back after they were presumed lost. Back to your stations everyone, reset the War Clock…”
The war was far from over, but soon...one final last ditch effort would be launched....
