One night, the Human 6 and Spike go to the Fall Formal.
"Wow, Spike! So great to be at the Fall Formal again, isn't it?", said Twilight.
"Yeah. It sure is," said Spike.
"Agreed," said Rainbow Dash.
Walking around for a bit, Twilight notices Flash Sentry. "Oh, hey! There's Flash Sentry!"
"Oh, yeah," said Spike. Feeling jealous, Spike growls.
"Oh, Spike, don't be so jealous," said Twilight.
"Oh! I'm-- I'm not!", said Spike.
"Spike, it's okay to admit it," said Applejack.
"Indeed," said Rarity.
"But I'm not jealous! Just..." Spike fake yawns, "A bit tired."
"Oh, come on, Spike! Don't feel left out! You're invited to dance with us, too!", Twilight assured him.
"No thanks. I'd rather stay here," said Spike.
Twilight puts Spike down. "Hey, Twilight!", Spike pokes Twilight's knee. Twilight looks down at him and he points to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who are dancing by themselves. "There are the Cutie Mark Crusaders!"
"Oh, yeah," said Twilight.
"I'd rather dance with them," said Spike.
"Okay, but you can still dance with us if you want!", said Twilight.
"No thanks," Spike declined.
"Okay," said Twilight and she walks off.
Spike approaches the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Um, guys?" The Cutie Mark Crusaders notice Spike and say, "Oh, hi, Spike!"
"What are you doing here?", Sweetie Belle asked.
"Oh, I just wanted to ask if I could dance with you for a while," said Spike.
"Oh, sure! We'd be delighted!", said Sweetie Belle.
"Very well," said Spike and he joins the Cutie Mark Crusaders and begins to dance with them. Meanwhile, Twilight approaches Flash Sentry.
"Hi, Flash."
"Oh, hi, Twilight. How ya doin'?"
"Good. Um, listen. Did you wanna... dance?" Twilight extends her hand, to which Flash smiles and takes her hand. "Definitely," he said. Twilight smiles as Spike gasps in horror. Flash twirls Twilight around as they begin to waltz. Angered, Spike growls.
"I'll show you how to dance!" Spike jumps into Scootaloo's arms. "Dance with me, Scootaloo."
Slightly confused, Scootaloo says, "Uh, okay?" and begins to waltz with Spike while holding him in her arms. She dances next to Twilight and Flash, who notice Spike and Scootaloo.
"Hey!", said Flash.
"Hey, Spike! I see you finally found yourself a dancing partner! That's good!", said Twilight.
"Thanks, Twilight," said Scootaloo.
Spike glares at Flash. "Whatcha gonna do about it?"
"Uh... nothing, I guess," said Flash.
Twilight continues to waltz with Flash as Spike growls under his breath. He jumps out of Scootaloo's arms and approaches Rarity in a gentleman-like manner.
"Hey, Rarity. How would you like to dance with me?", Spike asks politely.
"Oh! I would be flattered, Spike! Thank you for asking!", said Rarity.
"My pleasure, baby," said Spike. Rarity allows Spike to jump into her arms as they begin to dance.
"Hey, Twilight!", Spike called in a sing-song voice. Twilight and Flash notice Rarity and Spike.
"Oh, you got with Rarity instead?", Twilight asks Spike.
"That's right," said Spike.
"Okay," said Twilight.
Spike once again glares at Flash. "Still not gonna do anything about it?"
"Mmm... nope," said Flash.
Spike growls under his breath and whispers to himself, "Doggone that Flash..."
"Hmm, Spike?", asks Rarity.
"Oh! I said, uh... come on, let's dance!", Spike stammered.
"Okay!", said Rarity as she and Spike continue to dance. Spike then jumps out of Rarity's arms and says, "Check this out, guys." and begins to moonwalk, impressing Twilight, Rarity, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
"Oh!", Rarity exclaimed.
"Wow!", said Sweetie Belle.
"Amazing!", said Scootaloo.
"Pretty great!", said Apple Bloom.
"Neat, Spike!", said Twilight as she and Flash keep noticing Spike. Then Spike jumps in Scootaloo's arms as he holds Rarity in a waltz-like manner. Flash mutters under his breath and continues to dance with Twilight.
"What was that?", asks Twilight.
"Oh, nothing! Let's just dance!", said Flash.
"Okay," said Twilight as she and Flash continue to dance. Twilight looks over at Spike pitifully. She gets out of Flash's grip and walks over to Spike.
"Hey! Where are you going?", Flash asked.
"Okay, Spike. I'll dance with you, but only because you keep insisting," said Twilight.
Spike becomes jubilant. "All right!" Spike blows a raspberry at Flash, who crosses his arms and scowls in defeat. Spike jumps into Twilight's arms and they begin to dance. As they dance around, Spike grabs Rarity and the Cutie Mark Crusaders and brings them all into a turn, swivel, and finally, allows them to flail back in his and Twilight's arms. The crowd cheers and applauds for them.
"Wow, Spike! You really know how to dance!", said Twilight.
Spike bows and says, "Thank you very much."
"Anytime, Spike. Anytime," Twilight smiled.
"Pretty sick moves there!", complimented Scootaloo.
"That was good!", said Sweetie Belle.
"Purty goooood!", said Apple Bloom.
"It was swell!", said Rarity.
"Rather rad!", said Rainbow Dash.
"Thank you all!", said Spike. "And Twilight, how can you like a guy like Flash Sentry?"
Twilight begins to blush and says, "Oh, I-- I don't like him."
"Come on," insisted Spike.
"Spike, I don't...", said Twilight.
"Admit it," urged Spike.
"Spike..."
"Admit it!", Spike hollered as he jumps on Twilight and knocks her over. Spike begins to tickle Twilight's legs and knees as Twilight laughs.
"Admit it! Admit it, admit it, admit it!"
Twilight continues to laugh. "Spike, cut it out!"
"Not 'til you admit your love for Flash!"
Spike proceeds to tickle Twilight's armpits, making Twilight laugh hysterically.
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha haaa!"
The rest of the Human 6 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders are amused by this.
"Okay! Okay! I give! I like Flash!"
"I can't hear you!", Spike teased in a sing-song voice.
"I... like... Flash!", Twilight choked out.
"There. Was that so hard?", said Spike and he stops tickling Twilight, who begins to gasp for air.
"Don't do that again, Spike," said Twilight.
"Okay," said Spike.
"Come on, let's go," said Twilight. She, the rest of the Human 6, Spike, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders begin to leave. However, Spike begins to moonwalk out.
"Oh! That is cool!", said Rarity.
"Awesome!", said Scootaloo.
"Spike!", Twilight called out. Immediately, Spike runs up to Twilight. This will be a night Spike shall never forget.
