Big Mac and Baraka were fighting as the Tarkatan chopped down an apple tree with his claws. Big Mag got angry and said, “Stick ‘em up, X-Man!” Big Macintosh beat up Baraka and said, “Eeyup. That was easy.”

“Big Mac!” Applejack said, running towards him. “Those guys were tough! We gotta tell Raiden!” Just then a green skull hit Big Mac from behind. “What in tarnation is that?”

The two turned around to see Quan Chi, who said, “Worthless ponies. Your world will soon merge with Outworld.”

Shang Tsung appeared in a burst of flames. “Your souls are mine!” The sorcerer said to Big Mac.

“Nope.” Said Big Mac as he bucked Shang in the knees multiple times. He looked at Shang and told him, “Don’t mess with the apple family.”

“No one does that to my soon-to-be husband!” Said Queen Chrysalis as she flew down from below.

Big Mac told Chrissy, “School’s in, but I’m the teacher. And you’re about to learn a very painful lesson.” After the fall of the Changeling Queen, Big Mac said, “Now you both fall.” 

He followed Quan Chi to a familiar looking mineshaft.

Inside the mineshaft, three Diamond Dogs were being controlled by the albino sorcerer into digging something up.
“Dig faster!” Quan Chi commanded. “The Sword of Aquaza isn’t gonna dig itself up!” The Diamond Dogs dug faster.
Fido kept digging until he held a green broadsword that looked like the one from Quan Chi’s ‘On Your Knees’ fatality from MK9 and yelled “I got it! I got the sword!” They put in the sorcerer’s hand.

“At last... the power of dark magic will be ours!” Quan Chi said as he held the sword in the air.

“That’s what you think!” said Raiden as he, Rarity, and Big Mac were standing in front of the four baddies. Quan Chi left through another Portal.

Rover told the others, “You three are too late. You will never stop Staten from ruling this realm!”

Big Mac put up a good fight with Rover. He looked at the defeated Diamond Dog and said, “Now to find that creep.”

Twilight and the rest of the gang ran up to them. “Oh, no, we were too late.” the princess of friendship realized. “They got something called the Sword of Aquaza.”

“What’s the Sword of Aquaza?” Spike asked.

Twilight explained to everyone, “The Sword of Aquaza had incredible dark magic. Tirek used the sword when he first ruled Equestria. Princess Celestia banished the sword deep underneath the ground where she believed no one could find it. That sword is the only think in the universe that can kill an alicorn. But Quan Chi must have found where she hid it.”

“That’s what Shao Kahn wants?” Applejack asked.

Raiden looked at everypony and said, “We must destroy the sword before Shao Kahn uses its dark magic upon Earthrealm, Outworld, and Equestria. We are dealing with dark magic beyond all imagination.”

“Wait! Who’s gonna babysit Flurry Heart while we’re gone?” Cadence asked.

Twilight replied with, “I already found a good babysitter.”
