It's been a few weeks. All the kids got ready to go. This has been the first time they have left the area. Well not Caspian because he went to find the water Dragon. Because his Dragon could not fly he will fly with me. His Dragon, Coral, wanted to come so she figured out how. 

Since she was a Dragon obviously we couldn't carry her. But I got out a glass. After I rubbed my hand over its glass face I saw Metin's face. She said "Hello, how have you been. Have you found the dragons?" I nodded and said "Yes, I found the water dragons and the forest dragons.

But I also figured out that water dragons do not have wings. I need your help. There are more Dragon riders that I've found with the dragons. One of them is with a water Dragon and We need to figure out how to fly with a water Dragon?" Metin disappeared for a long minute but she came back with a book.

She looked through the pages and then she looked up with excitement. She told me exactly what to do and what to say and then I told her to tell my father that I'll be home soon. I put the glass away with my stuff and looked up as Kain walked in the room. He looked at me and asked, "So what did Metin tell you to do with coral?"

naturally, the king would worry about that. I smiled and told him quickly what I had to do. Blueblood nodded and we both walked out hand in hand. As we walked out we came to the new clearing we found to fit both the water dragons and the forest dragons. 

The clearing was next to the water became we found a gulf where the water entered in the forest. Some water dragons decided to stay in the water and some were on land. Some of the forest dragons laid lazily in the trees. I smiled and squeezed Blueblood hand quickly. He smiled and we walked into the clearing.

When we did the riders all came forward Bale, Caspian, Nahla, Amber, Jax, Zane, and Nico. They all came forward with their dragons. Herrick, Coral, Aqua, Blaze, Lightning, Oak, and Orchid. Moth the Dragon that was supposed to help me also came forward.

The stood on either side of me and Blueblood. We nodded at each of them and then I spoke. "We will be leaving tomorrow for my home. Me and the Dragon riders will all be leaving. I need you all to stay here, Safe. 

You will still be able to come out just not so far away from home. The water dragons, will need to stay need the water but some Dragon that are willing to be the hunters for everyone need to be willing to go farther. Now I also need to do something that has never been done before until now. 

I'm giving 1 Dragon, wings. Coral can you step forward. From my right a blue dragon stood forward. Everyone looked to coral and she dipped her head. I looked at Blueblood and he nodded. I stood up and slowly reminded myself of what to do. 

I went towards Coral and while I did I said out loud

"Give thee wings so they can soar Above the clouds that so often pour Rain and snow and wind and hail Give thee wings that shall never fail Across the sky bearing silver tipped clouds Above the awed people forming crowds."

I finally stood in front of Coral. I finished speaking and everything was quiet. I looked at Coral and stared at her right in the eyes. I reached out and touched her head and said "The Queen of Dragon shall change this Dragon this Dragon shall have a pair of wings so it can fly as free as can be.

" All of the sudden there was light a bright and beautiful light coming from Corals back. It was a mixture of blue and white. It got brighter and brighter. Then everything stopped. Everyone looked at Coral. She now had two huge wings on her back. They were blue and at the tips they grew Light blue and then to a white.

They were beautiful. Coral stretched them out and roared in delight. We cheered and Kain came up from behind and hugged me. He whispered "Good job." I turned to Nahla and asked "Do you want Aqua to have wings?"

Nahla shook her head and said "Aqua doesn't want wings. She says she belongs in the water and I respect that decision. And... I'm well... I'm afraid of heights." she looked down ashamed. I lifted her head and said "Nahla its okay to be afraid of something. Everyone is afraid of something. Just so long as we don't let that fear overpower us."

she looked up at me and nodded. She said "I've always felt better in water. Sometimes I'll go out of the cave and swim with coral because she understood that I needed to be out of the cave. Coral always wanted to fly through. You've made her biggest dream come true."

we both smiled and I looked at Caspian. He had tears in his eyes. He said "Thank you so much, Lily. In the few weeks I've known Coral all she wanted was to fly like you. She thought it would be bad that she couldn't fly and now... She can." I smiled and hugged him. 

I said "Well, now she needs you Because she doesn't know how to fly. We looked to coral who was trying to move her wings together but wasn't quite getting it. Caspian laughed and walked over to Coral he started giving her direction on how to move her wings together and how to flap. 

After about an hour coral was finally flying around the clearing. I stopped coral and said "Caspian, let's see if you and Coral can fly together." Coral looked worried while Caspian looked happy. 

He turned to Coral and she spilled out questions "What if I can't hold him? What if he falls? What if I can't fly with him? What if-" I stopped her mid-sentence and said "Coral. Everything will be fine.

We will get you guys to fly over the ocean so if he does fall which he can't, He will land in water." coral relaxed and bent down to let Caspian on her back. He got on and they walked over to the water. Coral took a running start and jumped up into the air.

She dropped a little bit and flapped so she could get fully in the air and away from gravity. After a while she got comfortable flying and they flew in loops and in circles flew high and then dropped. It was beautiful. Finally as the sun started to go down Coral hovered and I could hear what she said, "Wow, the sunset is so beautiful from up here. 

I would sleep in the air if I could." Caspian nodded and Coral turned and landed near me. She ran up and Caspian jumped off he said "That was the best ride of my life! Oh man and the sunset from there is beautiful. Thank you so much, Lily. 

You've changed my life." I nodded and said "I know, the very first time with Aradace was the best ride I've ever had on her. We flew so high we flew past the clouds. I'll never forget it..." we stood there for a while looking at the sunset. After a minute I turned and called Aradace.

She came flying and landed next to coral. They had become good friends because Caspian wasn't that far from my age. Her and Coral got along just fine. Coral and Aradace rubbed each other's face in greeting and then I climbed on Aradace's back. She was getting far to big for me to just jump up so we made a little harness the goes over Aradace's back and drops down on either side.

Low enough for me to climb but high enough to not get in the way of flying. It was also soft so it was comfortable for Aradace. Once we were both on we flew to the cave. Where Blueblood, Briggen, and Amber were waiting for us. We got off and Aradace and Briggen flew off together. 

I looked towards Blueblood and he hugged me. When I leaned back He pecked me and we turned to Amber and Caspian. They were talking together.

( ❤ ) Blueblood, Smiled and we let them be. He said " I feel like your dad when we first met. We just talked and talked totally ignoring him." I nodded and said to Blueblood "Do you want to take our dragons out and have a night to ourselves?

We haven't had one in forever and I can't really handle any more attention. In only 16 you know!" he laughed and grabbed my hand. He whistled and after a minute Aradace and Briggen came flying through the trees. 

I said "Hey guys we are having a night out tonight and we thought we could all go flying?" Aradace and Briggen nodded and Aradace said, "That's great because we have something to tell you anyways."

we nodded and got on their backs. We flew out over the trees up almost to the clouds. We all shared and link and Aradace said "Okay, now when I tell you this. Don't freak out. Okay?"

we all said Okay except Briggen who obviously already knew. After a minute Aradace and Briggen said at the same time +

"We are going to be parents."
