Blueblood P.O.V

We spend about 3 days with the sorceress, studying dragons. We learned that there was a way to find dragons but we would need to go on a long hard and dangerous journey to find it.

"It" was a sacred rock with a circular stone around it. On it, there are 4 lines that say N, E, S, and W. 

When The Dragon Queen touches the stone and asks for a certain dragon, the stone will go to a letter and that was the direction. Then sometimes when you go that direction there will be colors, like a glow that helps you get to the dragon your searching for. 

We also learned about soul mates. If one soul mate does the other will feel lonely and empty, they will also feel like some part of them is missing, they won't feel a particular warmth anymore.

I also learned that there was a mark on Lily back. It was a pair of wings with a crown and some symbols that spelled power. 

I said "Lily, it's beautiful, and I love the blue going around your wings." she looked up startled she said "what? There is no blue, there is only red and black." I said "No...there is a light blue along the edge of the wings.

As well as a form of blue in the crown. It's beautiful."Lily sighed and straightened. "I wish mother could have seen, she always loved the color blue." We all bowed out heads and then after a minute Lily said, "I'm going." I said "going? Going where?"

she looked up and searched my eyes and said "I'm going to the rock. I'm the Queen of Dragons after all. I will find my dragons, even if it's the last thing I do.

" I searched her big blue eyes, hopelessly searching for the joke I knew wasn't there. I said "Okay, but I'm coming with you.

I can't let you go alone. Plus I couldn't live with myself if you were killed." Lily nodded multiple Times and finally said "I know... Okay... We need to get back to the castles though.

So we can get permission from my father." Blueblood nodded and we looked towards Metin. She said "Lily... I want you to have something... Its, it's personal come, come here and come to my room."




Lily P.O.V




I followed Metin to a room and after she shut the door she turned and said "okay, first I want you to have this.

" she held out a locket that was in the shape of a heart and had vines going up the sides. She said, "this locket was your mothers, she told me to give it to you when I thought you were ready.

" I nodded and took the locket. She said again "now take this." she gave me a rune in the shape of a Dragon Claw. 

It was red and the claw was dark gray. I took it and felt the power and a lightness. I looked up at Metin and she smiled she said "this is a dragons rune for protection. 

Keep it close to your heart and no force will be able to hurt you. Give it to your children and instruct them to do so for their children and their children's children. Keep it close and protect the protection." I nodded hesitantly and put it in a pocket on my right side of my chest. 

Metin nodded in approval and she said "last but not least have this." she held up a beautiful dagger. She said "this is a Dragon Queens dagger. 

It is made for when you are in trouble it will always be there. It can change too, it adapts to whatever you fight...or whoever you fight." I took the dagger and looked at Metin, she held up one finger and grabbed a sheath. She tied it around my waist and I put the dagger in. 

She nodded and said "you are dismissed. You should probably whistle for Aradace." I smiled and walked out of the room. Blueblood was waiting and turned when he noticed me. His shoulders sagged and I noticed that he had looked worried I said "Metin wouldn't hurt me. 

You should know that." he nodded guiltily. I said "let's go, we need to get to the castle." when we stepped out of the shack we started walking towards the forest edge.

When we stepped into the clearing I whistled for Aradace and she flew down after a minute. I got on her and Blueblood got on his horse that he had tethered a few feet away. We rode to the castle quietly.





"Father, I need to go." he said, "No I will not allow it!" I looked at him and said one word "why." he looked at me in surprise and said "but, but because I am the king and you should listen to me especially as your father.

I shook my head and said "why can't I go find the dragons mother always said I would have, remember... My dragon army...?" my father drew his eyebrows together searching for an explanation he knew wasn't realistic. 

He said in a tiny defeated voice. "Because I don't want you to leave... What if I lose you too?" I hugged father and said "I promise I'll come back.

" he rested his head on my shoulders and sighed. I said "Blueblood will protect me, even though I can protect myself." he looked up and nodded. He said "good, good. I'm glad he's going too. Just promise me you'll come back with the dragons. However long it takes." I nodded. +
