Blueblood P.O.V

The next day during breakfast I couldn't help glancing every so often at Lily, she was truly beautiful. I never imagined traveling beyond the mountains like this but after a dream and conformation from my kingdoms sorceress I decided to come to this kingdom. 

I looked back at Lily for a second and marveled at how beautiful her hair was, her blonde curls raining down well past her shoulders. Her beautiful big blue eyes and how she held herself. 

She was obviously confident and brave. She was unlike any princess I've ever met. I first figured this out when I kissed her hand, it felt like my lips had heated up, it was like a spark. 

I smiled at the memory and then looked at the door. It had opened to reveal maids carrying platters of food for breakfast. It smelled absolutely wonderful.

They set the food down and I looked down at my plate of warm pancakes stacked up with bacon and eggs, there was also an interesting looking juice that came with it, I glanced questioningly at Lily and she looked at the drink and smiled she said "Its a sort of Guava juice, we mix it with a certain green leaf to make it really sweet. It also makes it green.

" we both laughed and then awkwardly glanced at everyone else who has looked at us both when we laughed, I also noticed a guard by the door who looked a tad bit jealous. I felt sorry for the considerably young man. But everyone knew that it was against a knights code to marry a princess. 

They could be very close but it was frowned upon. I looked up at the king and he was smiling at Lily he glanced at me and smiled a little wider he said "I'm glad you and Lily are getting close, really it's good she has someone like you, you're obviously a good man if you have had this reaction from her.

I blushed at the kings very kind words. I saw out of the corner of my eye Haven turning as red as her dragon. I nodded to the king and he stood and said "A toast to Blueblood, Lily, and Aradace. The king looked to where Aradace was sitting next to Lily. We all repeated the toast and we fell silent as we all started eating the delicious looking pancakes. 6




Lily P.O.V




After the toast we all ate. It was wonderful. I would have to go see the person who made them... I looked over at Blueblood he was trying to eat the pancakes fast. 

He looked so funny but I held in my laughter. No point embarrassing Jain again. I looked towards Aradace and she looked at me I said "Do you want any bacon?" she was served a big plate of chicken and turkey. 

She nodded and I held out a piece for her. She sniffed it and then gently took it from my hand. As she was eating it I noticed the hush over the room and quickly glanced around. Everyone was watching as I fed my dragon.

I smiled and looked back Aradace was finished and she held up her head and licked her greasy lips. She said "that is the most wonderful bacon ever! I said " it's the only bacon you've ever had." She snorted and I laughed. My father laughed too. He looked sadly next to him where Mom should be seated and I noticed his eyes well up. 

I said quickly After glancing around to make sure everyone was done eating and I stood and said "Breakfast is dismissed and guards there are new recruits to be trained." the stood and salutes me and rushed out the door. 

I continued "Everyone else there will be a meeting an hour after midday please don't be late. I won't be in the castle today I have important business. Thank you." every one got up from the table and left to go to their rooms. 

I got up and approached father. He looked up and said "so... So much like your mother. You'll make a great Queen one day..." I fought off years coming to my eyes and hugged my father. 

He shuddered and I hugged him tighter. I said "I'm so sorry I wasn't here. I wanted to find my dragon before the bond between us rotted away. In so very very sorry." dad shook his head and said " it was never your fault.

I just wish she could have seen you grow up and watch your dragon grow too. She always loved fire dragons. The power they had was truly great. She was always so happy when she saw your mark. She said she birthed the dragon queen.

Spike chuckled. That's how she woke you when you were a small child. She would say " wake up dragon queen your army of dragons is waiting!" then you would always have breakfast and play with the knights. 

Remember the boy who became a knight because you told him he had to become one so he could join your dragon army? He's your most faithful knight now..." He looked up and into my eyes. He said "You will have your dragon army soon.

I know you will." he stood and said "well you two be off now, you have a long day ahead of yourselves." He turned and walked to the door. I turned to Blueblood and he stood and hugged me. 

I cried and said "I miss her so much." I stepped away and said, "what will I do without her?" Blueblood made an I don't know gesture. 

I smiled and wiped my face with a napkin and said "come on I want to show you around."
I took his hand and hugged him to the right door. 

I pulled him through and down a hallway. I let go when we went through the kitchen, I did my usual and grabbed two Apple's and slid down the stair rail and night over the guard at the bottom. 

He was the boy I had always talked to I said "Rey! Are your ready for the dragons? They will come back and I will lead them!" He raised his balled up fist and and laughed. 

I laughed and he said "of course my queen I can't wait for the dragon to come back! He bowed deeply and smiled. I said "you may rise my dear knight." He rose and we laughed again. 

I said "okay I'll be off." I said "thank you." at that moment Blueblood came up behind me and covered my eyes from behind I gasped and he muffled a laugh I said "hmm there are only two people I know that would do that and my dads are in his room. So... Blueblood! I whirled around and laughed he was caught off guard and he laughed too.

I said "okay come on now we have to go. I nodded to Rey and he bowed his head. 

I took Blueblood hand again and hugged him out the door into the cool air. We were almost to the stables when I heard wing beats I looked up and was snatched right off the ground. I almost screamed but I realized it was Aradace. 

She was back to full size and let me tell you she was big! I crawled out of her claw and up her side to sit on her neck. She rumbled a greeting and I said "well we can't just leave Blueblood." come on. Let's go get him." she dropped and we landed next to the stables. 

I got off and walked up to Blue and said, "she's beautiful isn't she?" He nodded and I said "well come on your horse has been saddled and everything. Just follow me." He nodded and hopped on his horse. 

I got back on Aradace and said fly slow, Blue is going to follow. Aradace nodded and blew hot hair into my face, I smiled. She was perfect. We flew off the ground and started off. 

We flew definitely slower than normal and I got a good look around. I looked behind us and saw Kain riding behind us. He was a little behind but other than that he was keeping up. We flew on and then finally reached the forest where we landed. 

I got off of Aradace and stood to wait for Blue. I watched as he rode up and dismounted his horse. He stood for a second while he said something to his horse and then after one last pat he strode to where I waited. 

He looked around and I said "come on." I grabbed his hand and we ran through the forest. We stopped at the shack. Blueblood looked at it doubtfully but I walked through the walls already k owing what lay ahead.

I looked back and said "well come on." and then I stepped through the wall. I stuck my hand back out and once I felt a hand grab mine firmly I pulled him through. It was weird. Once we entered a bright red light started emitting from our hands.

Metin looked up startled and she gasped and stepped forward. She said a foreign word and suddenly our hand started glowing even brighter, the glow started to spread to our arms and then to our shoulder and to our chest.

The glow engulfed our whole body except where our hearts where. Metin said to Blueblood "do you love Lily?" he said almost immediately "yes." the glow engulfed his heart. 

She turned to me and said, "Lily do you love Blueblood?" I said "yes." and the glow engulfed my heart. It was warm and I felt happy. I looked at Blueblood and he was smiling too. We were happy. 

Then after a little the feeling wore off and we we're normal again, I looked towards Metin She had sat back down and watched us. I said "what was that? I felt really happy and Kain was just so...So I don't know he made me really really happy." Blueblood nodded in confirmation. 

I looked back towards Metin and she smiled and said "That's what happens when you come into a magical room with your soul mate. Soulmate? We were would mates? No wonder I was so comfortable around him. We were made to be together.

Suddenly faint shimmers started to come from me and Blueblood chest. Mine was red and his was blue. It was weird. I looked towards Metin and she looked as confused as I felt.

I looked back at the strange particles, they were making symbols. I looked closely and the red one looked like my kingdoms symbol and the blue one looked like the symbol I saw in the river. 

Suddenly I knew what was about to happen. The symbols once fully formed merged together, they combined and made a new symbol that was blue and red. I looked at Kain and he looked at me. I smiled and he smile.

He reached his hand out and I grabbed it intertwining our fingers. After several moment Metin got herself under control we had been watching her go back and forth between bookcases, scrolls, and other pieces of parchment.

After a while she finally held up a scroll that had a symbol and a rough drawing. What caught my attention wasn't the symbol it was the crude drawings of dragons. 

Metin jumped and laughed and she said "yes! I've finally found it after all those years. I really need to organize..." she gave me the parchment and I found my kingdoms symbol. 

Under it was a drawing of two dragons. At the very bottom was Blueblood symbol and under it was two drawings. 

Metin had stepped away while we looked at it and now she stepped back and gave me a stone she said "look through it." I did and all the sudden there was color.

There were white, green, blue, dark gray, and finally red. I looks at the parchment and noticed there was only 1 dragon at each symbol except Kain and my symbol. 

Me and Blueblood had 2 dragons at our symbol. There was also only 1 red Dragon which I'm guessing means fire Dragon. 

Under my symbol. The other Dragon under my symbol was a green Dragon. Which means it was forest. Under Blueblood there was a dark gray dragon and a blue dragon.

I'm guessing that the gray one was mountain and the blue was water. I looked up at Kain and passed him the paper and stone. He looked through it for a moment and then looked at Metin we all stood and after a few minutes passed he said. 2

"What does this mean?"
