//------------------------------// // Chapter six // Story: Twinkling Dreams // by vicakukac200 //------------------------------// "I need to go girls, see you soon!" Not waiting for her friends respond, Twinkleshine trots away as fast as she can. She storms in her house, not really caring about anything, just dashes to her bedroom. The electric blue magic aura surrounds her horn and the two books. "Hooo, Twinkleshine!" The blue book sounds surprised. It's completely understandable, the pony just rushed into the house. "Kuldj at" Twinkleshine says the magic word while she touches the brown book's blank page with her horn. Twinkleshine handles the landing this time really easily. She lands on her four hoof, and catches Guider in the air. She looks around. They are in a forest again, with tall trees, but they aren't as tall as the first forest's trees. She sees four path and a built road. "What is that road means?" The ivory unicorn slightly tilts her head. "This appears if the pony has a dream he or she never will give up." The book answers the question after a little thinking time. "Can that be impossible dream?" The pony is a little afraid of the answer and the book can hear that in her voice. "Unfortunately, they can be. And they are in sixty percent of the time." Again, the book waits for a little and than he answers the questions. "Why are you taking so much time to answer these questions, what do you want to hide from me?" Twinkleshine is impatient for this right now. "I don't want to hide anything, I'm an open book, but I want to be clear what I'm talking about." Guider explains it calmly. "Oookay..." She somehow can't trust the book right now and she is in a hurry. She wants to be back home to sleep. She doesn't have much time to waste, she trots on the road. The forest's trees start to be smaller and smaller and the road starts to fall apart in the forest, she hardly, follows the road's broken pieces. She starts to think that this isn't a sure dream. And when she finds the last pieces of the torn apart road she looks up and finds, surprisingly, Canterlot. Or a place that really looks like it. They start to wander around the dream Canterlot. After every step the city gets darker and darker, the unicorn needs to make plus light with her magic to see there. Electric blue light surrounds her and the dark blue book. "I'm kinda scared..." Murmurs the pony under her nose trying to look as far as she can in the darkness. She strengthens her horn's light. "I don't understand why" Guider tries to sound surprised, but he is scared a little bit. He feels that this isn't going to be easy. A few pony made out of fading colored light starts to appear. They seem like ponies from Canterlot. A blue light pony bumps into Twinkleshine. As she looks there to apologize, she notices the pony to be Minuette. "Oh... Uhm, I'm sorry Minuette!" Murmurs as she steps one backwards. The fading light Minuette hisses at Twinkleshine like a changeling, and black void come out of the blue pony and reaches towards Twinkleshine. It grabs around her neck and tries to choice her, fortunately she is quick enough to react and make the pony disappear with it's black void using an electric blue beam. "Oh my sweet Celestia... This is frightening!" She stops a little and looks around. The other fading light canterlotian ponies start to wander closer to her letting out more dark void from them self reaching for the ivory unicorn. Panicking she runs as fast as she can trying to avoid ponies and their dark void. She needs to shoot a few with her magic, but she can't shoot at all of it. "Have an idea?" Asks the pony panting. She keeps running as fast as she can. "What is the most important place in Canterlot...?" The book hits an are you kidding me tone. "Oh! The castle!" And with more strength she runs towards it. There are more and more fading light ponies around her, she barely can get away from a few of them. And when she arrives to the castle, her face turns pale white. There are way too many light pony to fight against them. Twinkleshine climbs up a little tree, getting a clear view to the hallway, but there are just way too much light pony to fight. "Can I run into the danger now..?" Asks while looks down to the light ponies. They grab her hooves to drag her down from the tree. "Up to you but I prefer you to not die..." He murmurs back angrily. "Thank you!" She teleports in and rushes as fast as she can fighting her way trough, blasting the ponies one by one, jumping over them if she can, she gets really tired. And she bursts into the throne room finally managing to lock out the fading light ponies with their black void things. Twinkleshine starts to loom around to find the glowing thing and she notices something glowing behind the throne. As she steps closer to it, two new fading light appears and forms the princess of the sun and moon. A huge panic wave goes trough the mare. And for a moment she can't even move. Grabbing the opportunity the princess Celestia looking light pony shoots a black beam at the unicorn and she can't really dodge it. Fortunately it just causes a huge wound on the right side of her body. Not a serious injury. Twinkleshine doesn't see better choice but teleporting to the throne and try to reach the glowing thing. She does that, but she can't reach and a dark thing grabs her hooves and tries to drag her towards the two princess but they them self start to get close. The ivory mare struggle against the black thing with all of her strength and keeps trying to reach the thing behind the throne. And she manages it. The black thing lets her hooves go and the light ponies fade away. She falls to the floor. Blankly stares in front of her and after a few seconds she takes a look what does she holds in her right hoof and it is a blanket. "Oh my sweet Celestia this... Is worse than those vines in that impossible dream..." She talks mostly to herself. "Well, you made it out alive... There is the portal back go your home." Says the blue book. "My schedule!" The pony jumps up running trough the white portal in the middle of the room and she arrives to her bed. "What time is it?" She looks at her clock and just as she planned, it's late. "Night, Guider" Murmurs and lays down on her bed while the book arrives to the floor. "Good night, crazy unicorn..." Sighs the book not so loud.
