Chapter five

"So, Twinkleshine.... What did you learn?" Asks Guider after hours of lame monologue about safety.
"I shouldn't run into danger, I shouldn't be reckless..." Says Twinkleshine bored. "So now, will you tell me more about your powers..?" Now she finally gets a little excited.
"Nope, I want to surprise you with those time to time. And you can't kill me because I'm just a living magic..." He says with smug in his voice.
"If you are a magic... There is a counter magic... I can find that...." Thinks the unicorn with a little evil smirk on her face, but Guider just laughs really loudly.
"Funny girl, I'm a magic from another, more powerful dimension than this. Equestrian magic doesn't have much effect on me." Explains it the book after the unsure stare from the mare.
"Well, thanks for the information!" Laughs the mare.
"Just..." The book tries to put together his thoughts. "Just go to the dreamworld... And do the job without dieing...."
"Actually... You said that I can choose whose dream I make reality with this..." Says the mare while levitates the brown book to her.
"You're not ready for that, sorry. You can do it after you are used to this situation and this will be the fifth time, this isn't the right amount of time for that..."
"Poor thing..." Mumbles the pony while sits down.
"You want to help your friends with their dreams?" Guider hits a really caring tone. It is strange for both of them, but they just jump it over.
"Yeah... I want to help my friends first, and after that anypony else can come...." She sits on her bed and puts the two book next to her.
"You lied to them and you put this thing before them. Do you think it is alright?" Speaks the blue book.
"I don't want to lie to them, but you asked me to do so. And I'm not putting the travelling to an another world before them! I still hang out with them!" Twinkleshine yawns a huge. "And they were the ones whose left me in Lyra's house alone!" She gets a little angry.
"Well, I didn't say that you need to lie to them... Just don't talk about it." Twinkleshine still can't understand how can a book talk.
"In my situation lie to them and not talking about this is the one and the same thing... You won't let me say that it happened in a brown book..." Murmurs the ivory unicorn under her pink, fluffy mane.
"Yeah... You are right... I didn't think it trough." The book pauses for a little time. "You said something about your cutiemark after the first dream you have been. Ir it was in the dream world I'm not sure.... But what was that?"
"Oh... That... When I earned my cutiemark I don't know what was I doing... I'm not sure if the mark on my flank means astrology or talent in magic or what..." murmurs the mare staring towards her window.
"You don't know what were you doing?" The book seems surprised... At least his voice.
"Nopony were looking and I did the usual things so I don't have much idea, nopony knows how much time passed till anypony noticed it... So I have no idea when did I get my cutiemark...." Murmurs Twinkleshine."And I don't know for sure what is three starts mean..."
"Well, what if it's for wishing stars? You make those dreams come true when ponies wish something for a star. And if you don't like this idea, just look at it like this for a little time. As long as you have the portal and me!" His voice turns really cheerful. The pony slightly smiles.
"Thanks... I can do that I think. But with my friends is still a problem... If I spend more time in the dreamworld I can choose the pony I want to help I guess" She lies down on her back yawning again.
"Yep! More time more control of the situation." Guider stops a little. "I guess that doesn't make you feel better..."
"If I want to help them, I need to hang out with them less... Perfect!" She tries to imitate a happy voice. "What am I going to do?" Her voice changes back to a more serious tone.
"That's unfortunately depends on you." Mumbles the blue book.
"How long time those dreams take?" Asks the ivory unicorn blinking slowly.
"Well, it depends, but mostly you take three or four hours, but with the time these will be longer." Explains the book a little confused. "Why?"
"Than, I can't do these in the night, that's too much sleep being skipped... I need a tight schedule and maybe I can manage being with my friends and doing stuff in the dreamworld..." She yawns once again, closing her eyes. "But that can wait till tomorrow..."
"Night, Twinkleshine." Says the book and the pony falls asleep with a much higher mood than she came home.
