Final Moments
Two hours had passed since everypony had confronted Twilight and everypony was still standing outside, not too far away from where Twilight was laying. Twilight had been screaming and yelling the whole time but none of them gave her any attention, they simply decided to let the belligerent dark goddess lay there and scream.
Finally Colgate had had enough of her yelling. She walked over to her and yelled, "Would you shut up already? I can hardly hear myself think!"
Twilight mocked, "Ooooh, big bad Colgate can hardly hear herself think!" She then laughed, "Have you ever been able to think to start with?"
Colgate kicked some dirt in her face and snapped, "Look, just shut up already, ok?" Twilight began to say something as Colgate continued, "Twilight Sparkle, the time for your punishment has arrived."
Twilight scoffed, "Oooh, what are you going to do? Are you going to burn me alive, drown me or cut me open and eat me alive?"
Colgate ignored the questions and began, "Twilight Sparkle, for a good part of the past 15,000 years you have done nothing but cause problems for this world. You have brainwashed ponies, you have banished ponies to various places, you used Princess Celestia as a sex toy while she was under your control which could pretty much be counted as rape, you wound up destroying the entire Crystal Empire which led to the deaths of over 2,000 ponies....."
Twilight spat, "That may be true but that is nothing compared to what you did! You wound up splitting uranium atoms to not only kill well over 100,000 ponies but destroy an entire nation and render two large islands uninhabitable for well over a millennium. If anypony is truly evil, it is you Colgate!"
Colgate replied, "Twilight, what you did was an unwarranted act of aggression while what I did was a counter-attack against a nation that attacked Equestria during war time so the situations were completely different."
Twilight yelled, "But still, you have more blood on your hooves than everypony else combined, and that includes the villains of the world!"
Colgate sighed, "War is war Twilight and anything goes." She then became more serious as she continued, "Twilight, we could continue to go on and on with this but all you are doing is delaying the inevitable, your punishment."
Something crossed Twilight's mind and she was going to bring it up hoping that it would spare her. She said, "Colgate, don't you remember how I was corrupted? I wasn't my real self!"
Colgate was quickly getting frustrated. She groaned, "Just like you are corrupted now and there is only one way to fix this, we must rid this world of you."
Twilight yelled, "You can't kill me! You will never kill me because you can't kill a dark goddess!"
Colgate sighed and stood over Twilight, staring down at her, licking her chops. She leaned down and laughed, "And now I shall have what I have been waiting 15,000 years for, Twily heart!"
Colgate clamped down on the hide on her torso and bit into it........."OOOOWWWWW!"
Blood began to run down Colgate's face as she took her first bite of Twilight, "Mmmm......you taste so good, you know that little Twily?"
Despite having a bite taken out of her, Twilight's defiance continued, "You haven't seen the last of me! I'll be healed, rise and kill you all!" She then glared at Colgate and added, "And it will be you who gets eaten!"
Colgate, along with everypony else, began to laugh. Colgate snickered, "Oh Twily, you're so adorable when you get like this!" She again kicked Twilight in the head and continued, "You can claim that all you want but there is no coming back from death!"
Colgate leaned down and again took a bite flesh out of Twilight's torso. Realizing that it would be easier, she knelt down and continued to feast on her flesh, causing Twilight more and more pain with each bite. Eventually she had ate enough flesh that she had exposed her rib cage and the organs that lied beneath it. She motioned for everypony else to join her around the fallen dark goddess, "Come here everypony, you have to see this!"
Everypony gathered around her and for some, it was too much. Below them laid Twilight, screaming in agony with her ribs and internal organs exposed. Galaxia ran back and said, "I can't see anymore of this, I can't handle seeing her like this."
While most everypony backed away, White Magick, Ruby Heart, Scootaloo, Dark Night and Lightning Storm joined Colgate around her. Ruby scowled down at her and laughed, "So little Twily, still think you're going to rise up and kill everypony?"
Twilight screamed, "Just you wait you bitch, I'll rise again and kill all of you!"
White Magick kicked her and laughed, "My my, such foul language for a pony whose fate is being decided by her enemy."
Colgate wanted to inflict more pain upon her enemy before finally finishing her off. She leaned down and ripped her rib cage open, directly exposing her internal organs. Twilight's screaming became deafening and those who surrounded her watched in awe at how hard her organs were working. Dark Night glared at Twilight and commented, "You know, I'm surprised you have a heart."
Colgate added, "I am as well but it is good that she does because if she didn't, I wouldn't have a tasty meal waiting for me."
Twilight screamed, "You'll never be rid of me, you can't kill a dark goddess remember?!"
Colgate leaned her head down towards Twilight's organs and asked, "Any last words you little tyrant?"
Twilight, in a stern voice replied, "Yes. As dark goddess of this world, I curse all of you! I curse this world to nothing short of pestilence, death and destruction. May all of you suffer for the rest of your miserable, pathetic days and when you all join me in the depths of Tartarus, I will laugh at you pathetic fools for thinking you could claim this world as yours."
Colgate couldn't help but laugh over her statement. As she continued to lean down and said, "And now Twilight Sparkle, I am going to feast upon something I have waited 15,000 years for." She leaned down into Twilight's chest cavity and grabbed her heart in her mouth, readying herself to eradicate evil once and for all.
Before she could rip into her heart, she heard one final scream, "Curse you Colgate, curse you!"
Colgate then clamped down on her heart and ripped it out, causing the fallen dark goddess to let out one final scream. As Twilight perished, a wave of energy shot out of her body, causing all of the duplicates she had created to disappear. When Colgate stood up, she had blood pouring out of her mouth. Some of her allies couldn't stand the sight of her so they turned their backs to her but three, Scootaloo, Dark Night and Lightning Storm, began to cheer when they saw the sight.
When Colgate finally swallowed the chewed up heart, she licked her chops and said, "Well everypony, mission accomplished. After over 15,000 years of her causing this world problems, Twilight Sparkle is no more."
Scootaloo began to eyeball the corpse and asked, "So what are you going to do with the rest of the body?"
In most instances, Colgate would share her kill but this was one thing she was not about to share with another pony. Twilight had been her enemy for far longer than she had been anypony else and decided that she should be the only one to taste her. She replied, "I plan on taking the corpse home with me and tying it up for the sport of crows."
Scootaloo gasped, "Seriously, you're not going to share your kill?" She pointed her wings at Lightning Storm and Dark Night and continued, "This is so unlike you, normally you always share your kills!"
Colgate replied, "I know but with this one, I want to send a clear message. I want everypony to see that not only have we achieved the ultimate victory, but that this is what will happen if you get on the bad side of any of us."
The three sighed in frustration knowing that Colgate was not joking but Colgate's mind began to drift elsewhere, to Ruby and Unicornia. She turned to her and asked, "Ruby, now that evil has been completely destroyed, do you plan on returning to your side of the portal or do you plan on relocating your citizens into our realm?"
This was something that Ruby was not thrilled over. She asked, "What, you want me to relocate my citizens to this realm and give up my country?" She approached Colgate and continued, "No Colgate, I will not sacrifice my nation just so we can live in a larger country."
Colgate put her wing around her and replied, "Actually, how about you and I head into what used to be Twilight's castle. I know there are maps in there and I am more than willing to give part of Coastal Equestria to you so you'll have your own......"
While Ruby was happy that Colgate would offer to sacrifice territory for her nation, something just didn't seem right about it. She replied, "While I appreciate the offer, I think for now I will keep Unicornia where it is. I really don't think my subjects would be up for a mass relocation."
Colgate gave her a smile, "Very well then, I respect your decision." She turned towards White Magick and then back to Ruby and asked, "Ruby, what is your decision about him? Do you wish to keep your ties cut or do you wish to give him another chance?"
Ruby was very unsure as to whether she could trust White Magick ever again, much less love him. She also knew of the anger that would rise at home if she was to get back with a pony that has been deemed as a traitor. She turned towards White Magick and said, "I am sorry White Magick but after everything that has happened, I could never see you in the way I did before." She then turned to Colgate and continued, "And I do have my concerns that if I reunite with a pony who is a known traitor, that I could very well be forced out."
Colgate replied, "That I can understand entirely."
White Magick asked, "But where will I live?"
Blue Star replied, "Well Father, you can come live in Neigh Zealand but do know this, Neigh Zealand is MY nation and you will have no leadership role there, your identity would be hidden and you would simply be a private citizen."
White Magick protested, "But I am your Father, I should not have to hide my identity!"
Blue Star replied, "Very well. You may reside at the palace and the highest of a role you would have is being a general of some sort."
While he was not thrilled with this, White Magick knew that this would likely be the best situation he would get. He sighed, "Very well, I shall return with you."
Given that that situation seemed to be resolved, Colgate believed that only one more issue needed to be taken care of, properly locking away the now broken Rainbow of Light. She approached where it lied on the battlefield, picked it up and said, "Now what to do with this. Yes it is broken but I still think it needs to be locked away."
Ruby replied, "Agreed." She then pointed towards the empty pouch that Tirac had and added, "And I think that thing needs to be locked away as well."
LaurFa added, "That is true but where are these shattered relics going to be stored?"
Colgate looked down at the locket and then at the pouch and the wheels in her head immediately began to turn. She chimed in, "The back of my archives would likely be the most secure place." She levitated not only the pouch to herself but Twilight's corpse as well. She continued, "Now that I have everything I need, I suppose we can consider this a complete success and all head for home."
Everypony gasped seeing everything Colgate had and began to wonder why she would want both of those relics. LaurFa was the first to say anything, "Wait a minute, you're taking those relics with you along with Twilight's corpse?" Her eyes grew wide as she continued, "You're planning something, aren't you?"
Celestia added, "You've got conquest on your mind already, don't you?"
Even Ruby had her concerns, "Colgate, while I would normally never doubt you, I just can't help but wonder why you want all this. It seems like you are adamant that you take them down into your archives." Her voice became more concerned as she finished, "Do you really think your archives are the safest place or are you going to try and figure out how to restore them, fuse them into yourself and become so powerful you could conquer the whole planet?"
Colgate replied, "Ruby, in the past I had my chances to claim Eqqus 1 as my own on two separate occasions but I chose not to so you don't need to worry about that."
Despite Twilight having done so much wrong, one pony in particular, Celestia, wasn't overly thrilled with her plans for Twilight's corpse. She asked, "Colgate, must you really tie her body up for the sport of crows? Couldn't you just give her a proper burial here in Ponyville instead?"
At first Colgate had no desire to give her such an honorable disposal but then realized that perhaps that would be for the best. She replied, "Very well." She levitated the remains to Celestia and continued, "You may give her a proper burial." She then turned to her generals and what remained of her army and finished, "Troops, let's get going. If we're lucky, we can get home in time to have a huge victory supper."
Her soldiers shouted, "Yes Ma'am!"
Colgate nodded and they all took off to the east. After they left everypony else began to talk among one another. LaurFa asked, "Is it just me or does she seem like she has plans for those relics?"
Ruby also asked, "You mean like what I said earlier?"
Celestia added, "Yes. That collar has already made her powerful enough but if she was to find a way to do all that, she could become so powerful she could conquer this planet without any military assistance."
Scootaloo, who had been like a daughter to Colgate continued, "I am a very close ally of hers but even I have my concerns."
When the rest of the leaders heard this, they got an idea. Ruby asked, "Scootaloo, given that she is like a mother to you, do you think you could perhaps keep an eye on her and if she starts doing things that may lead to what we fear, would you tell us?"
For Scootaloo this was not an option. Colgate was like the loving mother that she never had but saw an opportunity as well, "Let me think about it, alright?" Given that they asked this of her, she knew immediately what she had to do but had to be secretive. She looked off to the north and finished, "Well I better get home to the Crystal Empire. All of you have a good one."
After she took off, she couldn't help but wonder what the other leaders were up to. While Scootaloo did have her concerns about Colgate's desire to store those broken relics, she still trusted her more than the other leaders. One thing kept running through her mind though, should she tell Colgate about what they asked of her or not?
Ultimately she realized that if she did tell Colgate about this at some point, that she would likely ask how long ago they asked her to keep an eye on her and report to them so she did what her gut was telling her. Once she got out of eyesight of Ponyville, she took off towards the east to notify her mentor of what was going on.
