Near the outskirts of Ponyville Spike and Twilight are looking at a hole in time and space, "What is it Twilight?"
Twilight takes a closer look, "It seems to be some kind of rift in time and space. This is so exciting!"
Spike looks on confusingly, "A rift in time and space? What does that mean?"
The purple scientist looks at her research, "It's like a link between two places even between worlds."
Spike hides behind Twilight, "Is it dangerous?"
Twilight reassures the baby dragon, "I don't think so. It seems stable. If it seems to start becoming dangerous I'll seal it."
"OK, well I'm going to Rarity's." Spike waves bye.
"OK bye." Twilight waves back
Spike reaches Rarity's boutique and sees a pony completely covered in a cloak, "It's the cloaked pony, I wonder who they are? Oh well."
Spike enters the boutique. Rarity is there finishing a dress, "Hi Spike."
"Hi Rarity, need any help?" The baby dragon looks on hoping to help his crush.
"Not at the moment but I will need to go gem searching soon, so you can help me then." the fashionista continues her work. "I think Fluttershy has been on the busier side lately and could use your help."
"OK, well then I'll see you later." Spike leaves.
"Bye Spike." Rarity waves goodbye.
At Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy opens the door to find Spike there, "Hi Spike, what brings you here?"
"Rarity said you been busy and you could use some help."
"Why thank you. Yes, I got some new animal friends and haven't had time to go to the market." Fluttershy gets a list and a bag of bits then gives them to spike. "Can you go for me and pick everything on this list? If you don't mind?"
"Will do." Spike gives a salute.
"Thanks."
At the market place, Spike sees Applejack at her family stand to sell apples, "Hi Applejack."
"Hi Spike what brings you here?" asks Applejack.
"I'm helping Fluttershy with shopping while she taking care of her new animals." Spike shows her the list.
"Rarity didn't need help today." the farmer ask matter of factly.
"No, but we're going gem searching soon."
"Well good for you sugar cube. Need any apples?" the mare offers.
"Yes actually."
"Here you go." Applejack hands Spike some apples, "Hey if you are not to busy can you do me a favor? After helping Fluttershy can you stop by the crusader's treehouse and deliver these snacks for them. Gotta make sure they don't go hungry."
"Will do." Spike leaves.
The next day Spike visits the rift, "So how's the rift researching coming along?"
Twilight is going through some books, "Well, theirs not much in my books. But rifts don't appear for no reason. Something here or where it leads got to be the cause."
Spikes looks around, "I don't see anything around here but the rift."
"Yes, so the cause is might be from where the rift leads, the problem is the cause might not be close to near the rift, it could be something in Equestria for all I know." Twilight sighs.
"You're not thinking of going through it are you?" Spike worries.
Twilight continues to look through her books, "No to dangerous."
The worried assistant breathes a sigh of relief, "Well, I'm going to Rarity's."
"See you later Spike."
In a field, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash are building something. Spike greets them, "Hi Pinkie, hi Rainbow."What are you two doing?"
Both mares greet there friend Rainbowdash flies towards Spike and smugly says, "So Rarity didn't need your help today?
Spike crosses his arm's, "No, so what's this?"
Rainbow points to what's she doing, "Me and Pinkie are building an obstacle course. Whenever I try to race her it's like she teleports to the finish line."
Pinkie hops past them, "Maybe I do maybe I don't, I'll never tell."
The rainbow mare looks towards the pink one, "Hopefully these obstacles can slow her down and I can watch her. Hey, I can use another pair of eyes, mind being a judge?"
"Sounds fun, sure." Spike watches the race but still couldn't discover Pinkie's secret. "It's like they say It's Pinkie don't question it."
The next day Spike visits his crush again, "Hi Rarity."
Rarity is packed to go on a trip, "Hi, Spike. You're just in time, I have free time to go gem searching. Would you mind joining me?"
"I'll get the cart." the helpful drake goes to gran what he needs.
"Your sweetest Spiky wiky. I can always count on you." Rarity Pinches Spike's cheeks.
"And I know I can count on you if I need help, Right."
"Right."
Spike and Rarity are walking to Raritie's boutique with Spike pulling a cart full of gems. Dragnight walks past them, then a few gems get swiped. "Huh?" Spike looks at the pile of gems.
Rarity looks towards Spike, "What is it, Spike?"
"I not sure but I think some of the gems are missing."
"Well we still have more than enough, maybe I can make a new cloak for that pony over there. Who is that anyway?"
"I don't know. I saw them around the past week or so but they never seem to interact with anypony. I wonder where they are going?"
Pinkie pops up, "Dragnight I'm not sure but I think she going into the Everfree forest."
Rarity and Spike are startled, "Pinkie, stop doing that." Rarity poses herself. "I'm guessing you already talked to her and did your whole sing and greet thing."
"Yep just a few moments ago."
Spike asks, "Did you see her face?"
"Nope still a mystery." Pinky keeping her cheerful demeanor.
"Why would she go to the Everfree forest? Doesn't she know how dangerous it is?" Spike worries.
"I don't know but Applebloom said she been seeing a cloaked figured walk into the Everfree Forest." Pinkie responds.
Rarity says, "Maybe we should go ask her, to make sure she safe."
The two mares and the little dragon try to talk to Dragnight but she runs away entering the Everfree Forest and managing to get away from them. The trio eventually finds where she's staying a treehouse and Spike says, "Cool!"
Pinkie stares at the treehouse, "Wow! Did she make this treehouse herself?
Rarity stares too, "But why here?"
Dragnight yells from the treehouse "Go away!"
"Darling we just came to make sure you're safe! The Everfree Forest is a dangerous place!"
Dragnight mumbles, "Not as dangerous where I'm from."
Rarity yells, "What was that?!"
"Just go away! I don't need anybody's help!" The mysterious pony yells back.
"Anybody? You mean anypony!?" says Pinkie.
"Whatever go way!"
"Well, she not very friendly." says Spike.
"How bout I throw you a party!" Pinkie pulls out her machine.
"No!"
Rarity is fed up, "Come on let's leave. She obviously wants to be left alone"
"Well, I'm going to check on Twilight to see if she made any progress on her rift research." exclaims Spike.
"Rift?!" asks Dragnight.
Spike explains, "Yeah, it appeared within the week! My friend Twilight Sparkle is researching it!"
Dragnight sticks her head out, "Stay away from it! Seal it if you can!"
Spike looks towards her, "You seem quite worried. do you know how it appeared?!"
"No, just stay away ok and make sure nothing comes through!"
Rarity is skeptical, "You seem to know about it."
"Not really! Just take me to your friend!" the cloaked figure leaves her treehouse and follows the purple dragon.
Spike leads them to his friend, "Hi Twilight."
Twilight stops studying the rift to greet her friends, "Hi, Spike, Rarity, and the cloaked pony."
Pinkie introduces them, "Twilight this is Dragnight."
Twilight is standing in front of the hole in space and time, "Oh, hi Dragnight."
Dragnight points to the rift, "Whatever. Seal it."
"Huh?"
Pinkie stands by her friend's sides, "She wants you to seal the rift."
"Why?" Ask Twilight.
"Because you might get ... Watch out!" The rift starts sucking them in. Dragnight pushes Twilight out its path causing herself sucked in.
Spike, Rarity, and Pinkie struggle to avoid getting sucked in but Spike is digging his claws into the ground but isn't strong enough and gets sucked in. "Dragnight! Spike!" Twilight tries to catch him with her magic but it is too late. "Spike no."
An hour later Twilight has gathered her friends, "OK through my research on the rift. I think I may have a spell to send us to wherever Spike and Dragnight are. The downside is I can't guaranty we will be sent directly to them or if this will really work."
Rainbow dash points to the rift, "Can't we just walk through?"
"No, it's too unstable I can't guarantee your safety."
Fluttershy speaks up "What about Discord I'm pretty sure he can open portals to other realms."
Twilight sighs, "Believe it or not but I'm desperate enough that I already asked him and he said without knowing where they went he can't bring them back but he said he'll track us so he can help bring us back."
Rainbow Dash surprise, "He would really do that?"
"Well he originally said Fluttershy but I told him Fluttershy be mad if he only brings her back."
Rainbow crosses her arms, "Yep sounds more like him"
"Now this might be dangerous, theirs no telling what's going to happen or what's gonna be out there, are you all sure you want to come?"
They all look at each other than give determine looks. Applejack steps forward, "For Spike's sake, we will travel to as many worlds as it takes and face any dangers." the rest nod in agreement.
"All right I'm ready. let's go save Spike." Twilight starts casting the spell. Her horn glows brightly than in a flash there gone.
In another realm, a light appears in the sky then six lights shoot out in different directions.
Applejack lands on a hay pile, "A farm?"
Pinkie landsin a catsle, "Hi there."
Rarity lands in a town, "Well that could have gone better. Why hello there."
Rainbow Dash stops herself before hitting the ground, "That was close. What the?"
Fluttershy lands by a cave, "Girls? Oh hello, you're a big guy."
Twilight lands in a field, "Did it work? Girls? Wait, something doesn't feel like." she then looks at her hands, "I'm a human." she looks to the sky, "Spike I hope you are safe."
