Godzilla's Lost Child

Searching for Twilight

Twilight sat on a mountain, looking out into the eternal dusk/dawn. It has been ten days since the moment her ponyhood has been taken away from her. She no longer had her horn, and in turn, she cannot use her magic, even though she still had her cutie mark. Her wings were there as well, but she is too heavy to fly. Godzilla is still with her, and she doesn't know what to do.

"Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Starlight, Spike, all of you, I want you to be safe..." Twilight said to no one. A lone tear dropped down from her eye as she took a deep breath. She exhaled before speaking again.

"Please be safe. Wherever you are, if you are... PLEASE STILL BE ALIVE!" Twilight turned her head to the sea.

"If you happen to have lived through it, I know that you are probably trying to find me and free me from my forced exile. Please don't die out there! I'd never forgive myself if you do." With that final sentence, Twilight began to close her eyes and breathe in one more time.

With all her heart, she hoped that her friends are okay wherever they are.

Twilight thought that her friends were safe, and fortunately, they are. Currently, their boat has landed on an island. There was a large castle on it, and they decided that if the locals were friendly, they would ask for directions.

"Ya sure they're friendly, aren't ya?" Applejack asked.

"I have my doubts. We never went this far from Equestria. But first, we should set up camp." Spike said. Thankfully, they brought tents in case they had to stay overnight, and yes, it technically was day at Equestria, but better safe than sorry. Hay Gel was the one who proved the world was a sphere, but even though Celestia said it was a fact, the vast majority of the ponies still believed that the world was flat, no matter how much she tried to tell them otherwise.

Soon enough, they set up the tents and were ready in just mere moments. The Mane Five, Starlight, and Spike weren't the only ones who went in on this adventure. Some of their old friends and family have come along the ride, some to save a Princess of Equestria or some to save an old or new friend of theirs.

Daring Do and Rainbow Dash were close friends ever since the two met, and since Rainbow was already a fan, she gave Daring Do the idea to use this as an idea for her story. Twilight's older brother, Shining Armor, wanted to tag along to save his sister, and Princess Luna was also coming along in this adventure.

Twilight was the one who freed her from a mental parasite, which would have driven her further into madness if she failed. A few other background ponies have also joined the adventure.

Pinkie Pie and Luna were alone, wanting to talk about the Godzilla/Twilight incident. Pinkie had told Luna everything, how Twilight transformed into a Godzilla-like creature and how Godzilla took Twilight away.

"Luna, how's it going? Are you still trying to find Twilight?" Pinkie said.

"Yes, Pinkie, but her dream door has... disappeared. The beast is fully sentient, but it lacks a dream door of its own. My guess is that he does dream, but it is naught but a figment of his mind. Due to this, I cannot enter his dreams." Luna said.

"And since Twilight transformed into whatever he is..." Pinkie said. Luna stayed silent.

"Is..."

Luna's eyes widened as she put the pieces together. As a pony, Twilight was connected into the magical dream web. Godzilla's dreams were, according to her theory, a figment of his mind.

"So that's why." Luna realized. Twilight's transformation may not have just affected her body, but also affected the way she dreams as well. Well, so much for searching through the dream world. It may have slowed them down, but it won't stop them.

"Meet you back at camp." Pinkie said as she zipped back. Luna laughed and began to explore the new island. Being the Lunar Princess has its perks in the dead of night. As she walked across, she did not see a figure pop his head from the castle.

The figure wasn't a pony, or any known creature. The closest thing he resembled was the humans from the mirror, only that he was beige-skinned and his proportions were slightly different. He was covered in armor, save for his face, which bore a sweet mustache and goatee.

"Sentient horse, dead ahead. Man your stations, boys. We'll give them a warm welcome once they arrive at the scene." the being said in an unknown language (to the ponies) before ducking his head into the castle. Luna didn't even notice the being's voice.

Meanwhile, a strange batch of white crystals has just entered the solar system. Beware, SpaceGodzilla's coming to town.
