When Twilight and Pinkie woke up, they noticed they weren’t in Equestria anymore. The two ponies got up and walked around for a bit looking around at their now unfamiliar surroundings. In the distance, the two ponies heard chatter and music. Looking up, the two ponies saw a nearby tree. They listened carefully and noticed the music they heard was in fact coming from the tree.

“I wonder what’s making that music?” Twilight asked Pinkie Pie.

“I don’t know.” Pinkie replied. “But I’d like to find out. Wanna come with.” 

“Sure, why not.” Twilight said. The two ponies headed towards the source of the music.

Peering in the tree, the two ponies saw colorful creatures. The creatures appeared to be the ones who were singing. It also looked like they were dancing and hadn’t quite noticed them yet. Twilight cleared her throat, causing the creatures to stop singing and turn towards the ponies in confusion.

“Hello.” Twilight spoke. This confused the creatures even more. “My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle and this is Pinkie Pie. I have a question. What exactly are all of you supposed to be?” 

“We’re trolls.” A voice spoke. The sound of the voice caused the trolls to step aside to let a troll through. Twilight and Pinkie guessed that this troll was the Ruler. 

Twilight bent down. “Hi, you must be the ruler, I’m Twilight and this is Pinkie. What’s your name?” 

“Poppy.” The Pink troll replied. “Queen Poppy.” 

“What’s going on.” Another voice spoke. “Who are they?” 

Queen Poppy turned to face the source of the voice. “Branch, you don’t need to worry anymore. You’re happy now, remember.”

The male Blue Troll laughed. “Oh right. Sorry Poppy.”

“What did you say your names were again?” Branch asked looking up.

“I’m Twilight and this is Pinkie.” Twilight said smiling down at him. “We were sent here for some sort of mission.” 

“Yeah.” Pinkie said. “Have there been any problems here lately.” 

Poppy nodded. “Yeah, a few weeks ago, a troll I used to have a crush on decided to betray us. I just don’t know what I’m going to do with him if he ever comes back.” 

“Have you considered forgiving him for his actions.” Twilight suggested.

Poppy thought about it then frowned. “Yeah, no. I’m probably not going to do that.” 

Twilight facehoofed and grumbled. “Oh come on.”
