Twilight slightly stumbled down the dark street. She had a little to much to drink at the party. Pinkie had heard there some of those new unicorns were going to be showing up in Ponyville. The new unicorns had arrived in a strange ship parked over Froggy Bottom Bog. They liked to call themselves our dear friends or DearS for short. As soon as she heard about them Pinkie became obsessed with finding one. So when Celstia announced that an exchange program where DearS would live with host families, and some even in Ponyville, to help them adjust to Equestrian lifestyle Pinkie had thrown a late night party to hoping to find out if anyone knew who any of the host families were. Pinkie didn’t find out any information and Berry Punch had spiked the drinks.
Twilight bumped into a pony in a full cloak, the pony wobbled more than Twilight. The cloaked pony almost tipped over if Twilight hadn’t caught her. The unknown pony’s belly grumbled loudly.
“Are you ok?”
The cloaked pony tilted her head at Twilight. Twilight nervously scratched a bandage on her cheek, she had accidentally stepped on Opalescence’s tail.
“H... hu... hurt.” The cloaked mare put her hoof on the bandage and a blue glow came from under her hood. Twilight stepped back from the touch as she felt the tingle of magic against her skin. The cloak slipped off of her revealing a light rose unicorin with a sea-foam mane and tail.
“Thank you, If you hold on a second I’ll get you something to eat.”
Twilight dashed back into the party levitated a cupcake and dashed back out. Pinkie Pie watched the purple unicorn but shrugged and finished off a cake. The rose unicorn was leaning against a building and she re-wrapped herself in her cloak when Twilight got back. The rose mare gingerly took the cupcake in her hooves and stared at it.
“I know some of Pinkie Pie’s cupcakes can be strange sometimes but these are good”
The mare looked up at Twilight and down again at the cupcake.
“Go on eat it.”
The mare tilted her head again.
“Go on like this.” Twilight exaggerated taking a bite out of the cupcake in the other pony’s hooves. The rose mare nibbled the cupcake before gasping and devouring the rest of the cupcake. “Good aren’t they?”
The rose unicorn let the cloak slip enough for Twilight to catch a glimpse of a red choker. Twilight reached out for a metallic triangle hanging from the choker. As soon as Twilight’s hoof touched the cool metal the rose gasped. The rose mare was enveloped by a blue light starting at her horn. When the magic hit it the choker expanded becoming more of a collar than a choker. Magic tendrils extended from the expanded choker forming into a suite that seemed impossibly tight. The suit was mostly white and a slightly darker pink than her coat while her underbelly was a deep navy. The suit left the mare’s chest and flanks bare. As Twilight stepped back in surprise she caught a glimpse of the mare’s cutie mark it was a series of geometric runes.
The rose mare spoke but it was unlike any language Twilight had heard before. It was a series of chirps that were almost mechanical. The mare advanced on Twilight, impossibly light on her hooves, and kissed Twilight. The mare muttered one more phrase before passing out. Twilight was so shocked by the sudden kiss she almost didn’t catch the strange mare. Twilight decided that she couldn’t leave the odd pony and used her magic to levitate the mare onto her back. When Twilight got back to the library all the lights were off, Spike had turned in even before she left for the party. Owlicious hooted a greeting at Twilight once she got in the door. Twilight slid the rose mare off her back and onto a couch before trotting off upstairs to sleep herself.
