Once the three ponies where safely back at the castle of friendship, Twilight went straight up to their bedroom to put Scootaloo in bed, while Fluttershy went to find Spike and explain what was happening. As Twilight tucked Scootaloo up she gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead and whispered soothingly "Sweet Dreams sweetheart"
As Twilight trotted back down to the throne room she heard Fluttershy and Spike talking. "I'm completely fine with that Fluttershy, i'll go get Rainbow dash and Applejack so they can help me decorate the spare bedroom just across the corridor from yours!" She hear him say before he pattered out of the throne room and headed to the front door.
"I take it you want to adopt her Fluttershy?" Twilight said as she hugged her marefriend before sitting in her throne, giving her a gentle but none the less serious look. "You know looking after a filly is completely different than looking after an animal right Flutters" she continued gently.
"I know Twilight and yes i wan't to adopt her" Fluttershy replied kissing Twilight on the lips "I want to give Scootaloo the life she deserves, and i want you to help me do it please!" Fluttershy continued in a pleading tone gave Twilight the largest, saddest puppy eyes she had ever seen anypony do.
"Alright Flutters, we'll take her to the orphanage to adopt her tomorrow, right now she needs rest and a nice warm meal when she wakes up" Twilight said as she hugged Fluttershy tightly "Scootaloo's really lucky to have such a caring mother" Twilight whispered into Fluttershy's ear.
"You mean Mothers" Fluttershy whispered back, before breaking the embrace and intertwining their tails "Come on lets check on our daughter" she said as Twilight happily let Fluttershy lead the way to their Bedroom to check on Scootaloo.
Unnoticed by the Happy couple their four friends and a little dragon had all been watching from the side door. "Aww, that was so cute!" Rainbow dash quietly exclaimed.
"It sure was Sugarcube, though i wish you would give more warning before you somehow jump us from the park to here pinkie!" Applejack said as she dusted off her stetson. " How do you do that anyway?" Applejack asked with a curious glance at the pink party pony
"I can't tell you Applejack, that knowledge is strictly between me and Lovingshield16" Pinkie Pie Replied to Applejack
"Who the hay is Lovingshield16!?" Applejack and Rainbow Dash asked in unison, both confused
"The Author of this story" Replied an now bouncing Pinkie Pie
"Yeah well lets just end that conversation there and go and decorate Scootaloo's new bedroom" Spike butt in before everypony got even more confused than what they were now.
"Quite right Spike dear" Rarity replied as she began trotting towards Scootaloo's new bedroom. While Spike and the others started decorating the bedroom, Twilight and Fluttershy wen't to check on Scootaloo.
As they approached the door to their bedroom, they could hear small hoof steps, pacing back and forth. However they came to an abrupt stop when Twilight and Fluttershy entered. "Scootaloo we have some good news for you!" Fluttershy cooed excitedly.
"Come on Fluttershy, i know your taking me back to the orphanage, don't try to soften the blow."
Fluttershy for once was not fazed and continued "Well yes, but we need you there if were going to adopt you,you silly filly!" she continued as she and Twilight walked over to the bed and both patted the spot between their out stretched wings.
It took a few moments for Fluttershy's words to sink in before Scootaloo tackled them both onto their backs shouting "I finally got a family!" Between sobs of joy, Twilight and Fluttershy just smiled and embraced their new daughter with their wings.
As Scootaloo got settled down next to Fluttershy she decided that she would write a letter to princess Celestia. "Um Mummy, can i write a letter to the Princess pwease?" Scootaloo asked in a cute, irresistible high pitched voice.
"Of course you can darling" Twilight chuckled softly as she levitated a piece of parchment of and a special self correcting ink bottle over to Scootaloo before passing a very, very special quill to Scootaloo, a quill made from one of her mummy's own feathers.
As Scootaloo began writing her letter to the Princess there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Fluttershy's voice peacefully sighed through the door. As the door opened a pleased looking Spike walked in and gestured for Twilight to come over so he could tell her something.
"Don't ask me how, but the girls have finished Scootaloo's room already!" He whispered excitedly into her ear.
"That's great news Spike, Once she's finished writing that letter could you send it to Celestia please!" Twilight whispered back just as excitedly.
"Sure thing Twi" he replied ending their hushed conversation, and right on time too.
"Finished Mummy!" Scootaloo shouted in triumph, Frightening Fluttershy awake, who had been dozing off with her daughter snuggled into her side. "Sorry Mommy" Scootaloo added in a softer tone, kissing her mommy on the cheek.
"That's OK dear" Fluttershy Replied as she nuzzled Scootaloo lovingly along her back.
"Come on Scootaloo we have another surprise for you" Twilight said as Spike picked up the discarded letter and sent it to Celestia as Scootaloo and her Parents began walking across the corridor and into the room opposite the last thing Scootaloo had been expecting was for all of her Mummy's friends to be stood in a room filled with Wonderbolt Memorabilia and bed spread, at first she thought Rainbow Dash would be living with them but then it clicked, the bed was filly sized, this wasn't Rainbow Dash's room, it was hers!
"Do you like your new room darling" Rarity asked as she smiled at the awe struck little filly.
"I love it, thank you so much Everypony" Scootaloo replied as she gave a hug to each pony and Spike when he came back in the room.
