//------------------------------// // Prologue // Story: Godzilla's Lost Child // by Cipher800 //------------------------------// Long, long ago, in an island near Hiroshima, Japan, a creature resides. It was the last of the non-avian dinosaurs, closely related to dinosaurs like Majungasaurus and Carnosaurus. This is a Godzillasaurus, tall, grey, and about the size of an elephant. He was the top predator of the island, and the last of his kind on it. Nearby, the detonation of a nuclear bomb occurred, obliterating Hiroshima and sending radiation all over the place, taking out the island as well. But somehow, against all odds, the Godzillasaurus survived the explosion, and mutated into something big. The Kaiju King was born. His brain couldn't handle the new intelligence, and had new feelings inside him, anger, revenge, and several other things have accumulated in his mind as he decided to destroy Tokyo. The Proto-Godzilla rampaged through Tokyo, destroying everything and everyone in sight. He was the last of his kind, and those damn humans had turned him into the first. He never that that in all his life that he would get the feeling of loneliness. That is why he will punish man, but the humans came back with something else. They used their so-called Oxygen Destroyer to take him down, but it only turned him into the Godzilla we all know and love. As soon as the King of the Monsters returned, he did not take any more chances. He returned to Tokyo larger and more powerful than he ever was before. Once again did he challenge mankind and once again did he wind up losing, this time being imprisoned inside a mountain. He got out, fought the giant plant monster known as Biollante. After that catastropher was over and Biollante's spores floated off into space, he eventually found a female Godzillasarus with the same mutations he had. The two decided to mate and produce three offspring, two of which were boys, and one of which was a girl. They were still unhatched, so there was no way for them to know their genders yet. The soon-to-be mother of the three hid her eggs away not only from the humans, but also from the ferocious three-headed dragon that was King Ghidorah. Godzilla once again had to fight someone else and once again defeated another foe. After defeating his draconic foe, Godzilla decided that the next matter was to raise his children. He waited for months for them to hatch, and the humans were starting to get suspicous on what Godzilla was up to. They scoured the globe, looking for him with every piece of equipment that they could find until one day, they saw that Godzilla was apparently a father. Two of the three children have already hatched by the time they have managed to find out about Godzilla's whereabouts. They noticed the three and knew if there was more of Godzilla's kind, there would be even more trouble. So, they decided to destroy the only unhatched egg left. They invented a powerful weapon that was designed just for that purpose, and intended to use it on the egg, not knowing what it was. They did not want to risk interbreeding between Godzilla's offspring. And that was exactly what they did. But you should never bite the hand of the beast. The weapon was successful in its mission just as the baby hatched, but not as successful as one would hope, only taking out the unhatched egg, and was destroyed by an angry . The mother died of "natural" causes and passed away before the boys hatched. The death of his child was what made the King of Monsters snap. He wast the last, then the first, and now, he was the last once again. Not long ago, his other two children were found and killed not by humans, but by a giant, insectoid kaiju known as Megagirus. He fought and defeated her in a matter of minutes in revenge, but now. NOW! His only daughter was gone too. The line was crossed, and the King's rage was finally coming out. All the rage he had in store all those years, he now used it on several of humankind's most powerful and sacred cities one by one. Great religious cities were utterly decimated. The called him a devil, they were out to kill him in the name of their gods. But what god is there to save them from his rage? Japan, the Koreas, Vatican City, and Luxembourg were all taken down, and entire cultures lost thanks to the mad king. The humans knew why Godzilla was mad at them, but they decided to do something about it. They sent a squadron of planes to distract Godzilla from destroying them and diverted his attention. The King of the Kaiju was led into the polar regions of the world, and that's where they wanted him to be. Once they decided that he was far enough in, they released their missiles, and in the next moment, their gargantuan enemy was finally gone. But the tale of Godzilla was not done yet. His body remained intact year after year. The continents drifted ever so slightly here and there, but nothing budged him. Millions of years passed, and then, he finally escaped from his frosty prison. He did not know how long he was trapped, he had no way of telling. But he did have one thing left inside him: rage. He was still mad at the humans at the facts that they took his daughter and sealed him twice. The King of Monsters swam through the cold, murky waters lit by a now purple night. The night was now purple, not black? Well, more light was provided, but it seemed off somehow. Godzilla shook his head and returned to the task at hand. The King of Monsters swam across the sea, looking at the various islands around the area. Godzilla peaked his head and mountains in the distance. There's land up close, he could sense it. Godzilla swam closer to the continent or the large island, whatever it is, and saw lights out there in the distance. When he came closer, he took notice of fireworks shooting from the sky. So not only are they still around, but they are also celebrating his demise? Well, they'll be in for a big surprise once they see him. Ducking back into the water, Godzilla swan until his spines became clearly visible. He then went into an upright position and walked the rest of the way, causing a tsunami to destroy the coastal areas. Godzilla smirked. He was back and fired up. The fireworks, weren't so much. As the inhabitants looked towards the mighty beast, they panicked. As Godzilla trekked further inland, the inhabitants became more clear to him. They were not human, but were apparently some type of equine creature. Some had wings, some had horns, others had neither of any. Either he was trapped in the ice for too long or he was so hungry that he was starting to hallucinate. He did not feel hungry, though. Shrugging it off, he proceeded to rampage through the city, fixating on the biggest and explosive things he could find. He wanted to do it to a human city, but they were replaced, he did not know how, by weird horse creature things. His rage was still inside him, and he needed to take it out. They mimicked the long-past humans of yesterday quite well, only without advanced artillery and technology, but it was fair enough. Godzilla roared out into space and resumed his rampage to dampen his fury. The King of Monsters didn't expect HORSES to become dominant. No matter, he's still very mad, and he needs to do something, just something that's able to quell his rage.
