Shaggy & Scooby-Doo: Equestria Girls

The Magic Plan (Part 2)

It was supposed to be a normal day, Sunset thought. A day where things were meant to go the way they were supposed to without any possible threat of Equestrian magic or the like. Unfortunately, some guy and his talking dog just barged in out of nowhere and just told her and her friends that a mad scientist plans to harness Equestrian magic for his own nefarious purposes.

For Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, this was pretty much standard for them at this point. They went on missions, fought bad guys, and stopped whatever their nemesis had planned for them or the world. Not to say they did it all with a brave face of course. But all that mattered to them was getting the job done.

Now it was just a matter of explaining things to these strangers. The duo took the time to introduce themselves, the girls doing the same. However, Rainbow Dash had to ask a question before they continued.

Rainbow perked up, "Wait, aren't you the mystery solvers from Coolsville?!"

"Like, yeah, actually." Shaggy answered.

'Mystery solvers?' Sunset mused.

"If ya are, where's the others? Weren't there supposed to be five of ya'll doin' this?" Applejack wondered.

Shaggy started to pet Scooby's head as he spoke, "Well, we kinda decided to go our way for a bit. Top secret personal stuff, ya know? Well, you kinda know I guess."

"Did you stop being friends?" Twilight questioned.

"No, we actually met the rest of our friends recently while we were out. It was pretty cool." the boy revealed.

Sunset raised her hands, "I'm lost. Mystery solvers? You all heard of these two?"

"You never heard of Mystery Inc?" Pinkie Pie gasped, "They're like the best mystery solvers ever."

"Raw! Rit's nothing!" Scooby replied bashfully.

Rainbow instantly stood up, "And you're fighting bad guys now? That sounds awesome!"

"It most definitely isn't awesome, Rainbow Dash." Rarity chided, "The very thing we swore to keep secret could be used by a madman for world domination!"

The athletic girl folded her arms, "I mean, it does sound kinda cool..."

While the girls were talking, Spike hopped out of his bag, and ran towards Scooby, "You're really Scooby-Doo?"

"Reah!"

The purple dog looked to his owner, Twilight, and said, "See, Twi? Told you having a talking dog isn't that weird." he gestured a paw to the Great Dane standing behind him as if to prove a point.

Twilight pouted, "Well, it doesn't hurt to be safe."

"So, why did ya'll come runnin' in here like you were bein' chased by a ghost?" Applejack wondered.

"Bad guys are chasing us. We need to get out before you get hurt. Especially since it sounds like you know more about what we're talking about." Shaggy stated.

"That's right. The Equestrian magic." Sunset said.

A banging on the door was heard, prompting Scooby to jump into Shaggy's arms. The typical reaction to them getting scared. "Zoinks!" squeaked the boy, "Like, tell us later! I think they found us!" he gulped. The heroes needed to act fast

"Oh no!" Fluttershy squealed.

"Hop out the window and duck for cover." Sunset whispered as she lifted the window pane, "We'll cover for you!" Shaggy and Scooby did so and hid within the bushes.

Then the door was kicked opened, breaking throught he wooden barriers Shaggy and Scooby built, revealing Agents 1 and 2, the latter speaking as he aimed his weapon, "You can run, but you cannot hide from Dr. Alcheman!"

The girls recognized them as the new teachers. Were they really the bad guys chasing Shaggy and Scooby, they wondered? Rainbow nudged Rarity as a way of silently saying "I told you so". The agents shared a glance with one another.

Agent 1 lowered his weapon. "Is everything alright in here?"

"Um, yes?" Fluttershy squeaked.

"Are those... Lasers?" Twilight asked,

"No, these are just water guns. We spotted a juvenile and his dog roaming about and causing trouble and we wanted to use these as a warning." lied Agent 1.

Sunset shook her head and replied, "We haven't seen anyone. It's just been us."

"Aw, so much for unleashing my wizard wrath." Agent 2 moaned, walking away in sadness with his partner. The girls and dog watched as Agent 1 slapped Agent 2 in the back of the head.

Once they were out of sight of hearing vicinity, Twilight said, "Huh. Guess they really were secret agents."

"Awesome. They really do fight bad guys!"

Twilight scoffed, "This isn't time to be boasting about this, Rainbow."

"And so far, we're lookin' to be the targets..." Applejack sighed.

"W-What?" Fluttershy gulped.

"Our geodes." Twilight realized.

Rainbow waved a hand and suggested, "Couldn't we just use them and friendship blast them or something?"

"That'll expose us, sugarcube." Applejack reminded her. "The last thing we need is to show 'em we have magic."

"So what should we do then? Pinkie asked, "Because I'm with Rainbow in wanting to be a superhero!"

Sunset tapped her chin, trying to come up with an idea. "We should find Shaggy and Scooby then. They say those two are working for someone." she whispered, "...Which is odd to think about. They definitely don't look crime fighter material."

"We don't either, darling." Rarity reminded her friend, "Yet we're the ones to bear Equestrian magic."

"I gotta agree with Sunset on this one, though. Those two are kinda known for being cowards and running away from all the monsters they find. The fact that they fight actual supervillains now is really odd to think about." Rainbow admitted.

"Maybe they're braver than we think." Fluttershy meekly said.

Twilight wondered, "I mean, we are a group of high-schoolers with the ability to wield magic. At this point, the impossible, no matter the logic behind it, is shaping up to be real. It could be a part of the 'top secret personal stuff' they mentioned."

"It doesn't matter now since they vanished." Pinkie Pie said, leaning on the window, her face smushed on the grass.

"Huh?" Spike called out.

"Say what now?" Applejack asked.

Pinkie pointed outside, "Yep. They aren't behind the bushes anymore. I have no idea where they're at."

The girls grouped together and looked out, Shaggy and Scooby suddenly vanished from where they last saw them at their hiding spot. "Huh. Did they actually run away?" Rainbow wondered.

"I severely doubt that. As scared as they appear to be, they seemed more determined to stop whatever was happening here than expected." Rarity answered.

Twilight said, "We should probably investigate then. Hopefully Shaggy and Scooby aren't in more danger."

Shaggy and Scooby dove into a bush away from the school, wanting to hide from their enemies again. The boy reached into his bag to grab some binoculars in order to make sure the girls were safe. "Are rhey okay, Rhaggy?" Scooby asked, tapping his owner's shoulder.

"Looks like it, Scoob. Seems the agents left." Shaggy answered. Scooby sighed in relief once he heard that, "Like, we should probably ask them what they know about the magic here before Phibes and his agents get the same idea."

"Rood idea!" Scooby agreed. "Rhould we use a Scooby-Snack?"

Shaggy dropped his bag on the ground and picked up one of the dog treats, "Yep. Like, we should ask them where Phibes' lair is at and send them back where they came from."

However, as he grabbed the Scooby-Snack, something wrapped around Shaggy and Scooby's arms and legs, trapping them as tight as possible. They raised their heads and struggled to break free from the surprisingly strong rope. Their eyes widened once they realized Agent 3 had just caught them off guard with a net gun. "WAAAHHH!" screamed the duo, surprised by this.

"Dr. Phibes is gonna be so happy once he sees this!" Agent 3 stated, lowering his weapon. "Now if you excuse me..." he said, walking away to finish his quick mission, leaving Shaggy and Scooby tied up behind a bush.

"C'mon, Scoob! We have to break free!"

Scooby cried out, "I'm trying! Rit's too hard!"

Shaggy grunted, "I know, buddy! But, like, we have to stop Phibes' agents as fast as we can! That school's in danger!"

"Rrr..." hissed the dog.

Unfortunately for the billionaire heroes, the floor beneathed them opened up, revealing a secret tunnel slide. The two remained in midair for a brief moment as they glanced down when they couldn't feel the ground anymore. They pretty much knew secret passages were bad news at this point.

"Ruh roh!"

"Zoinks!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" screamed the duo, falling inside the trap, a trail of smoke appearing from where they once floated.

Once they fell in, the secret passageway closed above them. All that remained from their hiding spot was Shaggy's bag and a lone Scooby-Snack.
