"GUARDS KILL THE CHANGELING!!!"
"No! Stop!" I said. Guards as if apparently oblivious to noise didn't stop. I watched in disbelief as Chrysalis took all the hits. When the guards finally stopped, it was all but too late.
I guess after that I was numb, succumbed to the pain after seeing a desperate mother die for the sake of her kingdom.
FLASH
"NOO!!!" A changeling? Did she follow
C-Chrysalis? Oh no...
"Mommy!" She prodded Chrysalis encouragingly as if that was somehow to wake her mother. She seemed like a very young changeling.
"MOMMY!"
"Mommy wake up..."
"(Sniff, sniff) Momma?"
I watched guiltily as a child sought to be with her mommy again. All the other princesses, Auntie Luna, Auntie Celestia and Twilight, all of them didn't dare say a word.
One of the guards was the only one who dared to speak, his name was Fire Streak, and known for his hate of changelings.
"She got what she deserved princess."
It was then that I blew up.
"GET OUT!"
"But princess Cade-"
"ARE YOU GOING AGAINST ROYALTY I SAID GET OUT!"
I never thought it would end like this.
I regret having to leave her, my long time best friend.
That night I stayed in my room, remembering all the childhood memories I had with Chrystalline. All of the fun, all the arguments, everything.
Equestria hated her.
Yet they never knew who she really was.
That night I locked myself in and didn't come out.
That night I thought about how I would never forget her sacrifice. I thought about a lot of things.
That night was just another unfortunate accident.
