It had been Five minutes since Rainbow Dash and Applejack had left but everypony was still in stunned silence, Twilight and Fluttershy for one reason, Rarity and Pinkie pie for another.
"wow girls, do you realize Applejack just accepted help, from Dashie no less!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she randomly started to cartwheel around the Cutie map before pulling a cupcake out of her mane and scoffing it whole before finally bouncing to a stop in her original next to Rarity, though she seemed to be ever so slightly closer to Rarity.
"Um, that's not why were shocked Pinkie" Fluttershy said a small blush beginning to creep its way on to her cheeks as she continued explaining why she and Twilight were shocked. "You see Pinkie in Pegasus culture, to allow another pony to climb on your back and fly is a very, very intimate thing, usually only done by very special someponys" Fluttershy finished before burying her head into Twilight's mane out of embarrassment.
"Well darlings if Rainbow Dash and Applejack are dating we must simply wait for them to tell us, and if Rainbow is doing it to show Applejack how much she cares about her, she is doing a fine job if you ask me" Rarity said with a proud smile on her face before turning to the now silent Pinkie Pie and adding "Now we must be going dears i promised Pinkie i would help her bake cakes for the filly's and colts at the hospital" when she was finished she and pinkie exchanged silent goodbyes with Twilight and Fluttershy before they too left.
"Twilight is it OK if we lie together and read in bed for a little?" Fluttershy asked Twilight, once she was sure Rarity and Pinkie Pie were out of ear shot, giving Twilight a gentle kiss on the tip of her horn.
"Of course we can Flutterbug, well if you can catch me!" Twilight replied gently kissing Fluttershy on the lips before galloping off in the direction of her bedroom.
"Oh it is on Sparky!" Fluttershy actually shouted, which was such an achievement that Twilight had almost stopped to give her marefriend another kiss, but before she could recover she had been tackled to the ground by Fluttershy who was now laid on top of her, her legs tucked underneath herself like a cat. "Got you!" She exclaimed proudly before giving Twilight a kiss and laying her head down onto Twilight's chest. "You know maybe i'll just stay curled up here, on my comfy lavender pillow" Fluttershy said getting into a comfier position
"Well don't get too comfy Flutterbug, cause i want to go for a walk in white tail woods with you while the sun is still up, we can read later" Twilight purred into Fluttershy's ear, while gently stroking her mane with her free hoof. "Because i know where to find a water fall where all the animals go to drink!" Twilight continued building up her tone in excitement. Twilight smiled as the gears in her Marefriend's head began to turn and Fluttershy's smile began to grow.
Suddenly Fluttershy jumped up off of Twilight and began to fly around her in a circle saying "My Marefriend is taking me to see my second-favorite thing in the whole of Equestria!" In a sing song voice as she settled down a little she land next to Twilight who immediately draped her wing over Fluttershy.
"Come on if we set off now, we'll get there just as the animals arrive for their morning drink!" Twilight said as she led Fluttershy up to the bedroom balcony. "Before we go i have too know, you said animals were your second favorite thing in Equestria, i thought they were your favorite outright, what changed?" Twilight asked cocking her head quizzically.
"They were, until you came into my life!" Fluttershy replied kissing Twilight on the lips before taking flight with Twilight taking off seconds after her. As they happily chased each other across the morning sky towards whitetail woods, not knowing that there was a little Pegasus filly sat at the waterfall crying or that the filly would change their relationship and their life forever.
An hour later Twilight and Fluttershy were walking towards the waterfall when they heard a little filly crying which didn't faze them as much as when they saw who the filly crying was "Scootaloo what's wrong!?" Twilight and Fluttershy asked in unison as they both rushed towards her and each wrapped a wing around her.
"No pony loves me!" Scootaloo Manged to say before breaking down into more tears, snuggling into Mares wings. once she calmed down slightly Scootaloo knew she would have to explain what she mean't "Before you guys say it i know all my friends love me but i mean love as in loving your daughter, i live at the orphanage on the outskirts of Ponyville, and all the other orphans bully me and the staff don't do anything, heck i have been missing since yesterday but the staff don't care about me enough to come looking for me."
After exchanging a silent look of knowing with Fluttershy, Twilight stood up and used her magic to place Scootaloo on her back "You can stay at the Castle with me, Fluttershy and Spike tonight" she said as she used her wings to form a protective blanket around Scootaloo. Once Scootaloo was safely wrapped up on Twilight's back, Fluttershy stood up and lightly kissed the Pegasus filly on the forehead.
As Scootaloo felt sleep slowly begin to overtake she whispered gently "Thank you Mommy's" before her eyes finally shut and she began to snore quietly into the back of Twilight's neck.
Even though she had whispered it both Fluttershy and Twilight had heard what Scootaloo said "Twilight when we get back to the castle i think you, me and Spike need to have a talk" Fluttershy whispered not wanting to wake the sleepy Pegasus on her Marefriends back
"Agreed" Twilight whispered back before teleporting them back to the castle
